Waking up to the sound of elephants. :-) Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast (included). Free parking. Bus stop close by (although I didn't use it).

The location of the hotel is a really well placed one in the city. The rooms were impeccable and the service exceptional.

Nice location, next to zoo and university in nature. Nearby busstop to old city. Parking situation not so good.

We come here once a year for a meeting with a big group of people. Every year the hostel takes good care of us. The breakfast buffet is simple but good, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and the beds are fine to sleep on for a couple of nights. We will come back next year!

Good youth hostel, being there once every year. Nice people and service. WLan can be an issue. Zoo directly beside the hostel.

I loved being able to have a free bike to explore more of the city!! It was so easy to check in and out. I loved the service and facility, rooms were cosy and nice but it was loud at night because of being in the city. But they offer free earplugs which is great!

Super kind and helpful staff.nice rooms, separate toilets, and showers. Community kitchen. Busy with live in students, so the kitchen could become packed with them studying.but still nice stay.

Spacious, quiet and clean hostel. The showers are annoying - have to keep pressing the button for water to flow; no hooks. Breakfast for 5 EUR is just ok. Walking distance from the Hbf but have to take a bus to get to the attractions in Altstadt. It's a bit dead. Staff are nice, but travellers keep to themselves. Not a social vibe. The lounge has computers for use but closes overnight at 10 pm.

I loved staying here. They have gender neutral bathrooms 🙏🏻♥️ the rooms are clean. The kitchen and lounge areas are spacious and clean. The staff are super nice and helpful, I had a place to park my car and an all female room. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😊❤️

Cute place with excellent location! I liked how this is a refurbished place! Staff were friendly. I met lovely people here. The showers were ok but could be cleaner and also more intuitive (more hooks for example), that’s why it’s not a five stars. The bonus was the free bike rentals 😊 would recommend this place!

This is a very good hostel. The location is perfect. Facilities and rooms are clean. Interior is comfy and nice. The only downside were certain guests who don't respect the rules. But that's not the Hostels Fault.

Carmen truly has a home away from home. The location in Alstadt could not be better: steps from the funicular, the Dom, restaurants, and cafes. The hostel is very clean with nice appointments and a great living area and kitchen. I sprained my ankle on the way to Heidelberg and Carmen went out of her way to help me with everything. Wonderful hostel. Carmen (reception/more) was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There’s cereal + milk available at all times.

Clean and modern. The shower drains were partially clogged so don't shower too long or it will flood. Lockers and light breakfast (cereal and milk) are much appreciated and included with the room. The location is superb, a stone's throw from the Church of the Holy Spirit and at the foot of the castle. Highly recommend this hostel!

Stayed for a night. Located near the Central Train Station about 20-30 mins walk. The rooms are spacious, clean and had enough amenities. The Bed is heavenly! I dozed off immediately to sleep. Very spacious, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and convenient private parking option. It is a little far to walk to old town. Public transportation or taxi would be needed. If you drive your car to old town, you need to arrive by 10am to get parking spaces in P11, P12 and P13.

An enjoyable stay because of the quality of the hotel and rooms and friendlines of the staff. It delivers more than you'd expect for the price. Only criticism would be the crowded breakfast room. Especially during COVID-19 you'd expect some time slots or something to make it less crowded.

The hotel is very well located, ckeanuand modern. The staff helped us in every moment and the process of check-in and check-out was very easy. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. For sure I will repeat in a Leonardo Hotel.

Hotel was comfortable and breakfast was very good. However, basic rooms only have twin beds, and the main elevator was out of service for the entire week that I was there - which seemed very strange. Also there is no fitness center, and the closest gym doesn't seem to be open before 8 in the morning or after 9 at night which makes things difficult for the business traveller.

Friendly staff, good location, nice views from the top floors. Bathroom is a bit small and the building feels a bit dated. Also great breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was understanding as we still had to learn German. It was tight with the 4 of us, 5 weeks in a row, but it was the only establishment allowing our cat to come along. The rooms were clean and modern. The coffee in the foyer was always welcome, and sometimes was accompanied with fresh croissants, bagels or rolls.

The hotel is bright and clean, and the location is excellent, with a supermarket right across the street. The front desk staff, Albone tti David, was especially helpful and patiently explained where to find local restaurants and how to easily get to the old town. If I have the chance to visit Heidelberg again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

I had opportunity to travel Heidelberg for training in Christmas 2017 now look back everywhere i check in Heidelberg is very beautiful that year 2017, sevenday hotel street was repairing in rainy season and snowy i remember that room, mini fridge, kettle, fan, and smell of Air quick spray everyday.

This is a magnificient hotel. We stayed two nights in the junior suite and it was delightful. The interior is very classic and historically impressive. You barely find anything comparable in Germany. If you are looking for an exceptional hotel to visit, this is the place to be.

I rarely post reviews at all, but my stay at Europäischer Hof was easily the best time away I had in years. The whole atmophere was cordial and literally every staff member I had the privilege to meet granted me a sincere and honest feeling of being appreciated. Even though we arrived later than expected because of traffic it was obvious the hotel staff pays attention to detail because the bottle was in fresh ice and they even had a large piece of cake with Happy Birthday spelled out on the plate in chocolate...

I was there for a business workshop overnight. The location is ideal in the "Altstadt", to go out and explore Heidelberg. It's in close proximity to the University library. The rooms, have been quite big and are really nice, with a cool flair. Breakfast and Lunch had been really good.

We had a remarkably good experience with this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable - we woke up in the morning and were so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of bed. The staff were excellent, welcoming, and helpful. We will stay here next time we are in Heidelberg.

Good old-fashioned German hotel directly on Bismarckplatz at one end of the pedestrian zone. Didn't eat breakfast in the hotel...too expensive, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby with more reasonable prices. And Heidelberg is a gem! Spared the destruction of WWII, and even with the woes of mass tourism, it's still a place where people live, work, go to school and enjoy life.

This is a cute little place that is tucked in an area with lots of places to go and find food. The front desk people were awesome and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the hotel looks updated. The only downside is that from desk staff is not there past 10 P.M., so if you need anything then you'll have to wait until morning. Wonderful location right on the river facing the old bridge. Room was nice and large, well appointed. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. No AC but we didn't need it, just kept the windows open at night.

The restaurant and bar area are really lovely although it's closed on Thursday which is a bit limiting if you are only there for 2 days (including Thursday!). Booking on the hotel's own website is really cheaper than booking on booking by 5 euros per day, fantastic! I loved this small hotel in the West Stadt, very clean and close to the train station and the city center. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is full of beautiful buildings, lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, easy to eat and shop.

Location is great and the place is comfortable for a short stay. This is the second time I stay there, unfortunately the cleaning of the bathroom did not improve after last time. Price is ok and the contactless check-in worked without problems.

Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when using your credit card. My family had lunch there yesterday (13/08/2021). I payed moth my credit card. And that same card was charged for 5€ in the evening by the restaurant. But we were 20km from there. It was resolved the next day. The waiter had decided to add a 5€ tip to our bill... And they charged it after the fact. Lesson learned. I now keep my Revolut card frozen...

The restaurant is classic one, with typical food and of course, beer. the staff was friendly and it is OK to bring noisy kids here.

Cute small hotel. Breakfast is decent and room is cozy. There's even an honor-code vending machine with a flying piggy bank. Very convient to the town sights and there's a small grocery very close by. There is no lobby, reception is essentially at the restaurant bar which was confusing for me. Me and my new husband chose this hotel for the romantic look of the room as our “mini honeymoon”. I requested champagne/ sparkling wine and they not only provided the wine they left a lovely note for us as newly weds, but the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We stayed at this beautiful new hotel for 4 days. Nice quiet rooms, very good breakfast, attentive staff always responsive to special requests. From here you can walk to the old town in about 30 minutes, no problem. For those who can't walk, the tram stops almost right in front of the door. Few places in Heidelberg can hope to match the ambiance and look of Qube. The staff and service though are just amazing. The selection of drinks is nice and the food quality is excellent, even though choice of vegan and vegetarian food is limited. Would definitely recommend.

When in Heidelberg I usually choose the Qube restaurant for business lunches and sometimes even interviews at lunch or dinner. It is the restaurant of the hotel with the same name but even if you are not staying there, the restaurant is a good choice. Good even for small groups. The number of dishes is limited to a few good ones and the offering of wines is recommendable.
