This is a very good hostel. The location is perfect. Facilities and rooms are clean. Interior is comfy and nice. The only downside were certain guests who don't respect the rules. But that's not the Hostels Fault.

The hotel is very lovely. The team of the hotel is warm and friendly. The location is great. Just in the old town, with the station right at the door. You can chat with people from all over the world. I will definitely choose here next time:)

Best hostel I have stayed at in all of Europe! Very homely, personal vibe. Beautiful ambience. Friendliest staff (thank you Nicolai and Barbara!). Spotless bathrooms. Carmen truly has a home away from home. The location in Alstadt could not be better: steps from the funicular, the Dom, restaurants, and cafes. The hostel is very clean with nice appointments and a great living area and kitchen. I sprained my ankle on the way to Heidelberg and Carmen went out of her way to help me with everything. Wonderful hostel. Carmen (reception/more) was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There’s cereal + milk available at all times.

Clean and modern. The shower drains were partially clogged so don't shower too long or it will flood. Lockers and light breakfast (cereal and milk) are much appreciated and included with the room. The location is superb, a stone's throw from the Church of the Holy Spirit and at the foot of the castle. Highly recommend this hostel!

Waking up to the sound of elephants. :-) Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast (included). Free parking. Bus stop close by (although I didn't use it).

No wifi to rooms, only one key for a room of four people. Everything else is fine.

Don't forget to add another layer of sheets above the blue one since it doesn't get changed.

I loved being able to have a free bike to explore more of the city!! It was so easy to check in and out. I loved the service and facility, rooms were cosy and nice but it was loud at night because of being in the city. But they offer free earplugs which is great!

Super kind and helpful staff.nice rooms, separate toilets, and showers. Community kitchen. Busy with live in students, so the kitchen could become packed with them studying.but still nice stay.

Spacious, quiet and clean hostel. The showers are annoying - have to keep pressing the button for water to flow; no hooks. Breakfast for 5 EUR is just ok. Walking distance from the Hbf but have to take a bus to get to the attractions in Altstadt. It's a bit dead. Staff are nice, but travellers keep to themselves. Not a social vibe. The lounge has computers for use but closes overnight at 10 pm.

I loved staying here. They have gender neutral bathrooms 🙏🏻♥️ the rooms are clean. The kitchen and lounge areas are spacious and clean. The staff are super nice and helpful, I had a place to park my car and an all female room. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😊❤️

Cute place with excellent location! I liked how this is a refurbished place! Staff were friendly. I met lovely people here. The showers were ok but could be cleaner and also more intuitive (more hooks for example), that’s why it’s not a five stars. The bonus was the free bike rentals 😊 would recommend this place!

Rooms doesn't have attached washrooms to the rooms (it's outside the room) A little expensive.

I had opportunity to travel Heidelberg for training in Christmas 2017 now look back everywhere i check in Heidelberg is very beautiful that year 2017, sevenday hotel street was repairing in rainy season and snowy i remember that room, mini fridge, kettle, fan, and smell of Air quick spray everyday.

Absolutely wonderful. I have since stayed at 2 other hotels and neither of them could hold a candle to 7 days boarding house. I would have stayed there the last few nights but I couldnt as I had 2 other bookings that were non refundable. It is an amazing hotel all new. We stayed here for 3 days last year and had 2 rooms. Everything was fine and I would definitely book again if I come to Heidelberg next time.

Best place I have stayed in so far in Germany. So much variety in the breakfast, much more than you expect. Small kitchen is included for quick eats, comfortable bed is the highlight.

Easy to get to by car. Charger in the garage - we had an EV. Very conveint to the alt stad and the Schloss. Room had a fantastic bathroom. Breafast a bit austaire. Staff super friendly and very helpfull. Would recommed. Next time in Heidlberg that will be the hotel we will use

OUTSTANDING hotel and the location was perfect. Excellent and helpful staff and the only thing I did not like was not having a refrigerator in the room – but again, the staff provided us daily with all the ice we wanted. I was there for a business workshop overnight. The location is ideal in the "Altstadt", to go out and explore Heidelberg. It's in close proximity to the University library. The rooms, have been quite big and are really nice, with a cool flair. Breakfast and Lunch had been really good.

We had a remarkably good experience with this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable - we woke up in the morning and were so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of bed. The staff were excellent, welcoming, and helpful. We will stay here next time we are in Heidelberg.

A lovely little hotel. Rooms were clean with large baths. Underground parking was very convenient as well. Staff was caring and courteous. The location was also very convenient for walking throughout the town.

Good old-fashioned German hotel directly on Bismarckplatz at one end of the pedestrian zone. Didn't eat breakfast in the hotel...too expensive, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby with more reasonable prices. And Heidelberg is a gem! Spared the destruction of WWII, and even with the woes of mass tourism, it's still a place where people live, work, go to school and enjoy life.

It was good for my business trip. But if you want to enjoy the stay this hotel is not the place. The room had just the basic. No fridge or coffee maker or water boiler. No iron or anything extra that can make it fun to stay in.

I loved this small hotel in the West Stadt, very clean and close to the train station and the city center. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is full of beautiful buildings, lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, easy to eat and shop.

Location is great and the place is comfortable for a short stay. This is the second time I stay there, unfortunately the cleaning of the bathroom did not improve after last time. Price is ok and the contactless check-in worked without problems.

Very spacious, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and convenient private parking option. It is a little far to walk to old town. Public transportation or taxi would be needed. If you drive your car to old town, you need to arrive by 10am to get parking spaces in P11, P12 and P13.

Highly recommended if you have a car to drive to city center. The room we stayed was equipped with a full kitchen, a big clean bathroom with shampoos, towels at a very good quality. Room was big, clean and quite. Everything that I expect from a B&B hotel... Perfect for that price.

We stayed at this beautiful new hotel for 4 days. Nice quiet rooms, very good breakfast, attentive staff always responsive to special requests. From here you can walk to the old town in about 30 minutes, no problem. For those who can't walk, the tram stops almost right in front of the door. Dogs are not a problem here either, good big underground car park and very friendly and competent staff in...

Excellent hotel. Quiet room with a terrace and beautiful garden views. The hotel staff are very attentive, friendly and always ready to help - they deserve more than "just" 5 stars. We ate here last week and loved it! We were served by Mr. Kolb, the service was very fast, professional and polite. He read our every desire in our eyes. The food was amazing and this will definitely not be our last visit to Qube. Thanks to the whole team for this experience.

We stayed a week here in a terrific room with a terrace. Very spacious and modern. Our extra long bed was a huge plus for us, though the sheet was too small so it often slipped off during the night, which led us to sleeping directly on a plastic-feeling mattress. The towels and sheets did not match the overall quality of the room. Housekeeping could also be improved. Floor was dusty even after cleaning...

Few places in Heidelberg can hope to match the ambiance and look of Qube. The staff and service though are just amazing. The selection of drinks is nice and the food quality is excellent, even though choice of vegan and vegetarian food is limited. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve already been 3 times in Heidelberg and it was also my third time in Ibis! And it wasn’t my last time. First of all Heidelberg ist top 5 of “Must See” in Germany! A wonderful and charming place. It’s a nice hotel, with a very good breakfast. A nice option for people who only needs a WiFi, breakfast and some rest. Though it is away from the city center, there is a direct train right from the hotel to the center. Surprisingly convenient. Anyway I spent most of the time in the city and mountains, so I don’t need a great view from the window - I had it enough from the castle

Used this hotel as a base for my trip to the 2016 German Grand Prix. It's located about 2km south of the city centre but it is perfect for the purpose I needed it for. There's abundant transport links to the city centre, central train station (Hauptbahnhoff) or both. On top of that, the hotel ensures that you get to your room even outside of reception hours.

A nice hotel near the centre of Handschuhsheim, Heidelberg. I went for one of the larger rooms which turned out to be giant and was nice. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast (buffet style) was good.

The restaurant and bar area are really lovely although it's closed on Thursday which is a bit limiting if you are only there for 2 days (including Thursday!). It's a little far from the centre but a good tram service is close by.

This is a nice hotel if you are coming by car. Their free parking is good and you're not far from the city center by drive. The hotel was quite old style with no big curtains in front of the room window. The bathroom was clean but a bit smelly. However you can see the hotel is well taken care of. Perfectly fine with parking. We stayed one night and mooched around the town. Very nice. We would have liked to have stayed longer but we were on our way to Croatia. The hotel itself was basic but comfortable. We didn't eat there but we did buy beer from the vending machine before bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are equipped with ac units, which is great. It is in a quiet area of town, across from a car dealership. You will need transportation as it is about 15 minutes from city center. Lots of student and group tours. Great Continental breakfast.

Clean, quiet. It's obviously not a luxury hotel, and I have seen some comments about the rooms and TVs being small, and this made me worried, but it was good value for the money: the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, there was a hairdryer, it is in walking distance from the main train station and the city centre.

New and clean. Decent breakfast (open until 10:30 during weekends). Walking distance from the city. I wanted a simple and cheap place to stay, and B&B met my expectations.

This is a magnificient hotel. We stayed two nights in the junior suite and it was delightful. The interior is very classic and historically impressive. You barely find anything comparable in Germany. If you are looking for an exceptional hotel to visit, this is the place to be.

I rarely post reviews at all, but my stay at Europäischer Hof was easily the best time away I had in years. The whole atmophere was cordial and literally every staff member I had the privilege to meet granted me a sincere and honest feeling of being appreciated. On top of that the (standard) room was immaculate and the food absolutely worthy of the 5 stars rating. The breakfast options leave no wishes...

This is the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. I booked it for my wife’s birthday and requested a bottle of champagne in the room when we arrived. Even though we arrived later than expected because of traffic it was obvious the hotel staff pays attention to detail because the bottle was in fresh ice and they even had a large piece of cake with Happy Birthday spelled out on the plate in chocolate...

One cannot beat the warm atmosphere, friendliness of staff, excellent cuisine and location of this family-run hotel. And on top of it their spa is just amazing!
