We had a nice big room and extra large bathroom. It's a simple place but the helpful staff made it special. It also has a wonderful location in Heidelberg in the Altstadt right by the old bridge. Jana one of the young desk clerks working there went out of her way to make sure my visually impaired companion had assistance at Heidelberg train station and when we arrived in Berlin. We are so grateful

Hotel is located very near the bridge, which is one of the main attractions of the town. The room is clean and spacious. However, the toilet particularly the shower area is quite small. The 3 storey hotel does not have any lift and you will need to carry the luggages yourself.

Great location with plenty restaurants in the neighborhood. Room is basic with small bathroom.

Such a lovely experience, we were charmed by the hotel and by Heidelberg. The castle, the river, the vibrancy of the town, it was very romantic.

Overall a normal hotel, No breakfast.

Self-service check-in, very convenient

It is close to the central train station and conveniently located, but the facilities are old and the space is small.

It was the weekend, so rooms were quite expensive. The room I booked was a single room with a 0.8-meter bed. The sink for brushing teeth and washing face was next to the desk and bed, making the space quite cramped. The cleanliness was good, but the shower drain was very slow, and the water accumulated ankle-deep, which was a bit of a negative experience.

The room is a bit old, but the overall hygiene is good

I could clearly hear footsteps upstairs. Check-in and check-out were completely self-service, and I couldn't find any staff to store my luggage...

Had a nice stay there. Open while others were closed. Kind hotel manager 🙂

Clean and comfortable rooms. The WiFi doesn't work at the second floor and take the key during your stay.

All in all the accommodation was nice and tidy, the breakfast was very good, but the receptionist made a terrible first impression (to the extent I almost left the place immediately). Our room was on the third floor, there is no elevator which was no problem for us, but worth mentioning in case someone arrives with a big luggage. I liked the atmosphere of the place. The breakfast was really nicely...

The beds are extremely comfortable. The Wi-Fi and tv are sub-par, but we didn't stay at the beautiful and historical Ritter for the tv. The location, views, staff, breakfast, and surrounding dinner options are outstanding.

It was nicely located. Room was spacious then the picture. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was good. It had a walk in closet too.

475-year-old building, beautifully renovated and kept up. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous location, smack in the middle of old Heidelberg, right next to the Holy Ghost Church. On Sunday at 9:00, as it is summer and we had kept the windows open, we woke up to the sound of the church organ starting mass service. It was a first for both of us.

Everything here was so lovely. The staff were great, we had a beautiful room, and loved being in this part of town. Such a special experience.

This hotel is old but well kept . It’s clean and staff is very friendly. It’s a historic building. Only thing I didn’t like was that you get one key for your room and the only way to lock the room from outside and inside is with the key .

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The rooms may not have the most modern amenities but they are comfortable and the view from my window was unbeatable. The service at the front desk was attentive and informative. Note that the hotel faces a very popular street and it can be loud with people until very late at night and again in the morning during trash pick up. The windows block...

Perfect place to be in Heidelberg. Directly in the beautiful center, tasty food and drinks, friendly service, nice prices - but don't forget to reserve a table at the weekends. The rooms are fine, you got everything you'll need and it's clean. Also with tea and coffee, and it's really quiet! Absolutely recommended and I would come again immediately.

Very typical Irish pub, they serve Irish plates and beers. The food is not exceptional but the atmosphere is good. Rugby and football matches can also be seen. Only thing that tainted my experience was to see kids (14-16 yo) which were allowed to drink beer and vodka right next table

As Irish pubs abroad go this is reasonably good. We enjoyed a few beers while the football was on & service was good & servers friendly. We didn't order food but watched others eating what appeared to be good burgers. It's a friendly pub & busy at times but worth a visit.

This place could be more Irish, otherwise ok. Beer is good, didn't try the food. Staff is friendly. Pretty international crowd there which I loved. I'd go there again, when back in Heidelberg.

Happy Stay We didn’t notice the reception is not 7/24, we checked email when we arrived and found the code for the room key. That’s okay. Easy to access. The room is clean and good for family. But no air conditioning, only with fans. Has supermarket nearby in walking distance. Can buy and cook simple dishes in the room. The breakfast is incredible.

Room itself was nice. Well decorated and had a kitchenette with sink. Had a balcony. However no air-con. Even in September i was too warm. I imagine its unbearable in the heat of summer. The resteraunt only did breakfast. No option for an evening meal. Staff were nice at the breakfast meal. I did have a problem one day where my card wouldn't open the breakfast room door, so i had to wait for someone...

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was understanding as we still had to learn German. It was tight with the 4 of us, 5 weeks in a row, but it was the only establishment allowing our cat to come along. The rooms were clean and modern. The coffee in the foyer was always welcome, and sometimes was accompanied with fresh croissants, bagels or rolls.

The hotel is bright and clean, and the location is excellent, with a supermarket right across the street. The front desk staff, Albone tti David, was especially helpful and patiently explained where to find local restaurants and how to easily get to the old town. If I have the chance to visit Heidelberg again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Our experience in this hotel was very nice! The room has everything you need, small kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, and a nice small balcony. And specially the bed was comfortable. Also they offered to keep our bag after check-out.

Clean and comfortable accommodation that is very centrally located. There are no stairs, however. Denner uses a self check in and out system which is great, but may not suit all travelers.

Room was very clean and all furniture was brand new. A little bit strange check in at the hotel with a Bluetooth-key but was ok for me. Location was perfect 👌

The rooms are very spacious and have all the necessary utilities available. It is right next to a mall and shopping complex so very conveniently located. The employees including the receptionist are very friendly.

It was good for over night stay. They dont have elevator so if you are travelling with less luggage its a good place to stay with nice view

A budget hotel in the Heidelberg old town area. Great location

The location is unbeatable. A couple of hundred metres away from the Marktplatz, but still on a tiny street that's not heavy with tourist traffic. The rooms are basic and clean, and the breakfast was good with juice, coffee, tea, different kinds of bread, and an assortment of cold cuts.

Right in the centre of town just two minutes from Fischmarkt. Excellent staff, elegant rooms and a hearty breakfast saw us refreshed and ready for the day.

A quaint little hotel with comfortable rooms and very friendly staff! It is comfortable and cozy! My favorite place to stay when visiting Heidelberg! Located in a quiet area with a grocery store and bakery near by. It was perfect!

Good hotel to sleep in it for travellers. In room was TV with 2 remote controls. Works only one, that can only switch TV on and off. There were USB chargers. Toilet and shower was OK. Our room's window looked at silent yard. Bed accessories were not accurate.

Rooms were ok clean, not super clean but ok. Fridge was also ok. Location is good, prices reasonable and staff was friendly. Would I go there again? Dunno, would possibly choose another place as I might find one that is better than ok, wouldn't mind going there again if there is no alternative available.

Independent hotel at a good price. Does the job off a nice bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast was dull, but there are plenty of cafes in the city that will serve something simple and nice instead.

Solid hotel. Great for the price, but I could hear very clearly the shower in a neighbouring room. This wasn't a problem apart from when they showered at 5.00 AM. In general very good.

Very centrally located in the old town,close to central pedestrian road with lots of shops cafes and restaurants.Christmas markets all around the area and perfect to explore the old town by foot.Bus stop from central station just a few steps outside the hotel.

This is the best hotel to stay in Heidelberg. Easy to get to via public transportation; parking garage 100m around the block if you are driving. Easy walking distance to the funicular to the castle as well as the fussganger zone through Old Town. Breakfast included is plentiful.

Nice hotel perfectly located in old town Heidelberg. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The wifi isn't the best but that's only a problem if you need to work. Our rooms walls seemed thin as I could hear the bloke in the next room snoring Definetly would stay here again if In Heidelberg

Great hotel and great rooms! We had room B, which was gigantic for a very reasonable price. Receptionists, while a little gruff, were very helpful in guiding us around the city and arranging taxis for us. The room even had a little balcony that over looked the tiny square below. This was my first experience visiting Germany and my first hotel stay. The hotel was very clean and very friendly. The owner was especially kind to our group of 13 that took over most of the hotel, and with such great service. Very nice hotel and perfect location! Right in the center of the old town and very close to the castle. The house itself is over 500 years old and walking two stairs is well worth it! The view of Kornmark by night can’t be topped! I also enjoyed breakfast and talking to the very friendly staff.

The environment is good. If you have never lived in a loft, you can give it a try.

Nice place for a hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. Unluckily no parking places reserved for the hotel. No breakfasts and no People on the reception in the morning without any message of warning. Bed broke down when sitting on it, was clearly damaged previously and not properly repaired.

the hotel is very nice .roms are fantastic. but there is nobody in the reception to answer questions. we had to ask a waiter who spoke english.he was very helpful. after all a very nice hotel we had good nigt sleep there. ( very quiet)

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff, We were allowed to check in by the manager slightly earlier than we expected. This was a great bonus that gave us the chance to visit the local outdoor pool ( Schwimm bad ) and enjoy time by the riverside

I didn't like being yelled at by the person on reception because I apparently entered the reception area when I wasn't supposed to. In most hotels you approach the reception desk and wait your turn.

The pillows were wonderful, as was the bed, and showers. Staff was great and friendly, parking easy, and some great restaurants within walking distance

Great location We loved the location of this hotel. It’s located on a lovely little square with bars, cafes, bakeries, and even a market while we were there. An easy walk to the old city. Staff in the hotel were super friendly and helpful.

This is a very well maintained, modest hotel in a lovely part of town. The staff is very friendly and accommodating but note that the reception desk closes between 10:30p and 6:30a. The hotel is small and not spectacular but for a simple, straightforward stay in Heidelberg on a charming square (with a farmers market some mornings) it’s really exceptional.

Very homely hotel. Modern rooms with a traditional German style restaurant room. Very original. Our room did not have coffee making facilities but hotel offered complimentary coffee from the restaurant. No minibar or fridge

Charming hotel with friendly staff. Nice lounge and dining area with a great breakfast, and light fare for evening nosh. Ideal location, especially for those who prefer public transport around the city or to the train station.

Hotel Heidelberg is located outside downtown Heidelberg. We enjoy staying here because the area is walkable with convenient access to the street car to get to the main train station. We enjoy the local shops nearby. It is an older hotel with the charm and quirks of such. Our room is very quiet with no noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway.
