Pentahotel Leipzig

My stay at the hotel upon arrival was confusing. My team and I came for the consulate to do a military ceremony. As we arrived to the hotel one lady told me I was unable to checkin until 3 which we arrived at 1130. I informed her of our ceremony and we needed to change into uniform which she stated we can change in the SPA area and would give us the key. I came back after receiving my luggage to see she was busy so I asked the man next to her and he said just press the button and he was buzz us in. We went to the spa and didn’t get buzzed in. My soldier went back to the counter and the very nice man in the Hawaiian looking shirt checked us into our rooms to change.

My Soldier said his room had mold and couldn’t breathe. All of our rooms didn’t have a microwave and AC was barely working.

We spoke to a lady about getting the buffet ( which was paid for with our room) and she said it was free. We ate. Another lady came over after we were done eating and frustratingly said you have to pay. We told her that the other lady said we didn’t and she said “no she didn’t”. We didn’t want trouble and were already tired from a long drive so we just paid ( extra)!!!

I came down to order a dessert. I ordered with one lady and she walked off. I stopped another lady and asked if I could take that plate to my room and she said yes. The other lady came out and said I ordered 2 desserts and I said no but I’ll take it since I paid for 2. The Second Lady looked upset and I said I will just take it and she said no it’s fine and took the second plate back ( that I paid for!!) and didn’t get a a refund.

The only person that was kind to me and my team was the man at the front desk in the Hawaiian looking shirt, which we are great full for him. I did inform the consulate of Leipzig of our not so pleasant stay at pentahotel. Please have the women or whole stay have a better attitude towards guest.

Parking and breakfast were amazing.
