Good hotel for small money !!!! The food in hotel's restaurant is delicious !!

Lovely family hotel. We’ve had a comfort room (more than enough space) with balcony and couch. Beds are good. The staff is very attending and nice. Food is excellent (breakfast & dinner). More than enough walking routes near the hotel. You could even drive to a village for site seeing or if you’re interested in WWII.

The hotel was nice enough, but the staff were never around when you needed something.

An excellent hotel with all the amenities you could wish for. The restaurant was obviously very well liked in the village as most patrons seemed local - always a good sign! Their sun terrace was marred a bit by the digging work being done in the streams just beneath. That didn't stop me from spotting both a heron and a couple of kingfishers just a few metres from where I was dining! The room was modern...

Pure and undistilled pampering. A fine selection of drinks, gregarious waiting staff and mouthwatering seasonal dishes that are fresh and house-made served in a cosy setting. I came here expecting good food but my expectations were surpassed by a wide margin. 10/10 would go again.

Best dinner we had during our stay in Eiffel, sitting in the evening sun on their terrace. I would recommend Iberico pork chops with caramelised onion and rosmary potatoes. But everything that came past us looked really good, and a bit more polished than most restaurants in the surrounding.

We had a lovely meal at Friedrichs restaurant but I cannot comment on the hotel facilities. The hotel is situated overlooking a stream. Its such a picturesque location food good too. You can eat inside which is good if you dont want the attack of the flies whilst being outside. This happened as soon as the food appeared and spoiled the ambience for me.

This hotel is tip top and a real pleasure to stay at , I stayed here for two nights and found it to be very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The lady in reception was particularly friendly , I seem to remember her farther was English and she was very kind and helpful. Ps sorry about hitting two stars earlier !!! very nice hotel near the outer ring of the city. Only about a 10 minute drive to downtown, 15-20 minutes to RWTH. My room was spacious with a separate bedroom. There was a small kitchen but there were absolutely no plates, utensils, pots, etc. The dining room did let me take a fork, knife and plate to keep in my room. Underground parking is available for €15 per night.

Located in a quiet area, parking outside is available. Convenient and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Thermal mineral water pool. Wonderful brekafast. Nice staff.

Rooms are well equipped and smell fresh, all rooms have a mini kitchen with stove and fridge, helpful staff, a nice hotel location. Always stay here if I need to visit Aachen

I booked this hotel for swimming pool, and it’s beyond my expectation. The swimming pool is not big, but with shower, fitting room, toilets and shampoo/hairdryer. These rooms and water in the pool are warm and you don‘t need to worry about getting cold after swimming. Really nice for relaxing. The rooms are modern and spacious, with balcony, small kitchen, TV, etc. Although a little far from city center...

Good hotel. But not exactly what you expect from a 4-star hotel. Location great, quiet and clean rooms but not fancy, breakfast is noramal and menities are limited: No toothpaste and toothbrush, no shoe polish, no slippers, no iron, no bathrobe, no working chair and no smart air conditioning and heating which made room a bit cold and unpleasant for me.

Actually this is the first time staying at Ibis budget Aachen City. The hotel's breakfast is delicious. The location is also good, just near Aachen Cathedral, within walking distance. The handsome uncle at the front desk was very considerate and helped us carry and store our luggage.

The hotel is in a very good location, next to the cathedral and the commercial street. A family of three (12-year-old child) checked in but no extra bed was provided, so we could only book two rooms. This was incomprehensible. My husband stayed in the room because of his injured foot. We were asked to check out three times before 12 o'clock. Beautiful modern hotel in a perfect location, just a short walk to the old town and cathedral. Rooms are clean, stylish, and comfortable, and the rooftop bar has amazing views over Aachen. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended for a city trip!

Nice hotel with great gym and sauna. Rooms are good, not small and not huge. But more than okay. I our first room the air-conditioning didn't work, but we received another room which was perfect. They even offered help with moving our things to the other room. Breakfast is okay. The Spanish omelet was overcooked, chocolate croissants nearly black from being too long in the oven. Stayed here for 3 nights on work trip. Great staff. Lovely view from rooftop breakfast/bar. Breakfast good. Nice that soft drinks and beer in fridge on the house. Good to see hotel also showcasing works by local artist. Would not hesitate to recommend.

It was nice that it was close to the conference hall. It wasn't too far from the city center either. It was within walking distance. I also liked the free drinks that were replenished every day.

The service wasn't perfect - at least for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was refilled too late. The service staff was perhaps a little too limited. All in all not bad. Price and performance did not match 100%. However, I would definitely go there again.

We come here regularly. Always good here. Clean, neat rooms. Furnishing a bit dated but fine. And a very fine bed. Breakfast is also always neatly taken care of. Parking does cost 8 euros per day extra.

Some rooms are a bit cold due to lack of heating. The rooms are a bit drafty. But overall the rooms are very nice. Overall, the price is worth the service and facilities.

The Hotel staff were excellent and really friendly, professional and really great service in every aspect. The Hotel website says it has a Restaurant which is why I booked it as I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Unfortunately this is not the case, I was told there are no Restaurant facilities due to the lack of a cook. The Bar offers Pizzas which was not particularly Good. Service though was excellent

Everything is furnished in a very rustic style, but still looks modern and tasteful. The only thing that should be changed is the bathroom fixtures. The shower head has had its prime. A very cozy hotel with a special design. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. A small tea kitchen belongs to the room. We were able to lock our bicycles safely. The breakfast was varied. If you stay longer, I would make sure to get an apartment with a garden view. Otherwise you look at the parking lot and opposite is a residential building. Blinds prevent people from looking inside.

Little bit awkward not to be able tot speak to someone, but the very nice breakfast made up for that.

Stayed for 1 night, before heading back to the UK. Only booked it on the day - was just looking for somewhere with a car park. Free parking outside but I opted for the secure underground parking - a bit pricey at 25 euros. Lovely room which looked like it had been refurbed recently. Fantastic bar area - great selection of drinks. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with a best buffet breakfast ever. The room we had, had a shower in the bedroom what means little privacy after you shower. A separate bathroom with toilet would have been better. We stayed for 2 nights and we had to pay €25 a day for parking underneath the hotel, what in my opinion should have been free and a courtesy of the hotel.

We stopped off for one night heading home from a European Road trip. The hotel is modern and stylish in a pleasant location, all staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the breakfast was equally as good with a large selection of food to suit everyone. Highly recommended.

We could not be more complimentary about this hotel. I/we have been staying periodically over past few years, always on family visits. It is conveniently situated between the train station and 'downtown'. Hotel was a large franchise but was not impressed with our room would prefer a separate bathroom not as part of the living areas. Restaurant staff unfriendly but friendly with German speaking guest. Apart from these two things it was comfortable and the was good.

The staff was great, check-in was a breeze, family owned business got a chance to meet the son and his girlfriend. They were both a delite, also gave me and my friends great recommendation. 5 min drive to downtown with plenty shops and restaurant. Quirky hotel. Feels like a ripley's hotel.

Our last trip to Design hotel was splendid! We stayed two days there and it was amazing! The room itself was clean and tidy, the only think is that the pillows are really soft, but if you ask the stuff they are more than happy to give you harder. The breakfast was amazing! The atmosphere, the plenty of food from a different variety is just amazing . The stuff there are friendly and helpful, smiling...

If you are looking for a fancy and modern 4-Star hotel, this is not the place for you. Artistic rooms full of paintings and many designs which was different to me and I liked it. However, in terms of amenities and cleanliness it is 4 star. Staff is super friendly and the hotel is closer to the Euskirchen city center. They have a sauna, a gym and a laundry service.

We had a great weekend at Landhaus Müllenborn. The staff were very kind and the food was good. They don't seem very used to cooking for vegetarians but we expected this so it was fine. The area is beautiful for walks and relaxing. Their fitness room is less equipped than what I have at home (there's basically nothing) but I hadn't planned to workout, rather walk around in nature. I recommend this place...
