Even in times of Corona, a great stay with very attentive hosts. As usual, the rooms are well sorted, clean and everything is in the right place. Breakfast corresponds to the general conditions. Unique view of the city from the breakfast / restaurant and from the terrace!

The service wasn't perfect - at least for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was refilled too late. The service staff was perhaps a little too limited. All in all not bad. Price and performance did not match 100%. However, I would definitely go there again.

Great service, price quite high for the rooms (for xmas marke time understandable), would love to have at least coffee machine in a room, but over all could say perfect.

Abject, Appalling, Awful - recommend never staying here, cannot be trusted - I arrived at 11pm to find my room was not available due to ‘a technical error which has lasted a few weeks where bookings are made but not honored’ - during a very busy time in Aachen there were few rooms left in the city. Finally I found somewhere that could take me. Awful way to prepare for an important meeting the next day. No subsequent outreach from the hotel to apologize or to refund / compensate me for the hotel I had to stay in as an alternative. Truly woeful. Under no circumstances book to stay at this hotel if you want to have any certainty of having a bed to sleep in.

Tricky one this. The hotel is actually OK - rooms are a bit small, a bit hot and at eye level with a busy road. Beds are a bit uncomfortable - the shower is in the bedroom which I thought you only got in really bad TV shows. Usually I'd give it 3 stars or maybe 4 because the staff are really nice.
The problem is the HUGE difference between expectation and reality - the Melia website makes you think you're going to get a luxury 5 star experience at a 4 star price. In fact, you're getting something like a Travelodge where somebody has put the shower right in the bedroom.
It's fine. It's clean, well located and the staff are friendly. But the website promises so much that as soon as you arrive, you'll be disappointed. The great staff will win some of your trust back - but I wouldn't go to a Melia hotel again.
(BTW a 3 month old review says breakfast was expensive at 12 euros - it's now 27. At that price I have no idea how good or bad it is.)

Great hotel in Aachen. Nice and modern, clean, good services. The room itself is nice and comfortable with modern TV and tea and coffee making facilities. They are also nice and bright with big windows and good AC. The only thing is that they rooms are a little minimal.
Staff were mostly good. Checked in well but turned up and didn't have a twin bed as requested - but they rectified this and changed our room quickly. The bar at the top is also lovely, unfortunately was slightly let down by the bar staff who was a little short and not the most patient. Would stay again if in Aachen.

Bed was great, staff were really helpful!! And even managed a trip to Lindt Chocolate factory, which I think costed more than the Whole Business Trip.. 🍫😜😜
