The hotel is located right across from a bakery and supermarket. Those are not open on a Sunday though! The U- and S-bahn stations are a 5 minute walk away. The walk into the Altstadt takes about 20 minutes.
The u bahn station is only a couple of minutes walk away too to come into the city itself.
You have to pay a deposit for kitchen utilities like a kettle, plates, cutlery and cleaning stuff. This is not a problem but you have to carry the unstable and fragile box yourself to your room which mine happened to be the furthest away on the floor. This doesn't include tea and coffee like most hotels usually provide.
Location is good. It's a nice area but walking to the centre is some distance. In hindsight I should've used public transport.
I used the underground parking here which is nice and secure but no discount for my motorcycle unfortunately.
Overall it was good for the price you pay
Conveniently, there’s a Rewe supermarket and a coffee Place right across from the hotel, making it easy to purchase anything you might need. Each room also features a small kitchenette, perfect for preparing light snacks.
Additionally, the rooms and hallways are carpet-free, which makes the place much more hygienic.
We will definitely return.
Room and hotel is clean. Location is very close to uBahn as well. Just across the street is a supermakret and bakery. Very convient as well.
However, I dont understand the amenities provided for guest. Kettle to boil hot water - pay 20 euro deposit. (Warm tap water is provided, though not hot enough for tea). Requested for a cup to drink water - pay deposit. Toothbrush - available for purchase. Tooth paste - available for purchase. Tea packets - not available. Microwave is provided, however basic utentils such as fork or spoon require you to pay a deposit. Doesnt make sense for business traveller.
There is also no laundry service nor Iron + ironboard available.
If you're travelling for leisure, I'll definitely reconmend you to go for it. 5 out of 5.
For business, probably not.
