Hotel am Jakobsmarkt

I have stayed there 2 nights 3 days, The room that was given smelled strongly of paint because the hotel was under maintenance. I went to the reception and requested a change of room. I could not stay here because I have asthma. The hotel responded positively to my request.

A comfortable and very clean hotel, very well looked after. Location is central and very easy to walk to and from the station as well as around the old city. One thing that would make it more comfortable is to have a kettle in the room, to make a cup of tea/coffee.

It is a cozy hotel, it is very well cleaned every day. I had a small room which was very comfy. The place is close to the transport. The breakfast was great, too much meat though.

Great location of the hotel, you can walk to the center in a few minutes. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance.

There are several excellent restaurants close to the hotel. Several supermarkets can be reached in a few minutes. Close to metro and tram stops.

Parking is possible in the parking lot in the yard behind the hotel, this parking is free of charge. If there is no space available, you can park on the street in front of the hotel or in the parking garage just a block away.

Very nice, helpful staff. At the reception, you can sit, have a beer, coffee or water.

The breakfasts were great, see photo, the food was constantly replenished. The choice of food was really wide and varied. Everything was fresh. There was plenty of seating. Breakfast staff very helpful and nice.

I didn't notice air conditioning in the hotel, there certainly wasn't any in the rooms. It's fine in the winter, but I can imagine it can get hot in the hot summer.

The room was spacious, plenty of storage space, very comfortable bed and pillows. I really appreciate the fridge in the room and the free bottle of water. The shower was smaller. We also had the opportunity to try a single room. I was surprised how the quality of this room was lower compared to the double room - uncomfortable hard mattress, the shower was open so after showering you have water all over the bathroom, the sink is not in the bathroom but part of the room, the bathroom is poorly ventilated.

A lovely hotel nestled in the middle of the city. Tricky to get into, but well worth it!
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the 16th Century building which is part of the hotel was lovely in which to stay. The modern renovations inside maintained the feeling of antiquity within the building while still ensuring comfort and ease.
Next time I'm in Nuremberg I intend to stay here again, and I have already recommended it to family and friends who might visit Germany.

Perfect location, calm area but close to the city center. Nice rooms. WiFi works fine. Small breakfast but with many things and variety.

Very nice hotel. Stayed one week. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very clean. Food is of course German :). Relatively close to the city, 10-15 min walk. Recommend it.

Amazing, charming small hotel. Worth the price, amazing staff and location. One of the most lovely places I've ever been to!

Rooms are tidy and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. This hotel is walking distance from the Nuremberg Memorial and museums (unless you don't like walking more than 500m).
