Been guest here because of a cancelled flight. Nice for the category, clean and with an agreement for dinner with a Greek restaurant around the corner. They prepared a tiny breakfast for us @ 4.45 in the morning. Very gentle people.

Service is okay and everyone seems to speak English, which is welcoming for tourists. Although you seriously feel nickled and dimed for every single thing. They put bottles in your room and if you drink them you have to pay, the internet is VERY slow until you pay for "high speed" internet (which is 1mbps upload and 0.5mbps download, not exactly high speed.. and it costs 30 EURO PER 5 DAYS. Very clean, staff was nice. Bar fully stocked and serves a limited food menu. Just steps from the Nordostbahnhof bus, subway and rail stations. On the not so great side the shower and sink are 'in' the room. There is only a moving panel to 'block' the bed when you step out of the shower. And the smallest closet ever. So not the best setup but I would stay there again for the convenience.

It's really a good hotel to say. Staff is user-friendly, and reception was very helpful. Had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was really very good, a lot of varieties to eat. I will book the hotel again if I am in a nuremberg visit.

Had gone for the Nuremberg fair in Jan. The service was commendable, there is no porter service to the room though. Close to the train station and bus station. 15 mins from old town and most locations Breakfast was a really good spread. Room was clean, the towels aren't replaced daily unless you ask them. Room doesn't have an AC so can get hot. Not sure if other rooms come with AC though.

Stayed one night in family room, double bed with one sofa bed. Room is ok, AC is available, no safe box, no coffee or tea or kettle in room, but available in the lobby. Many tv channels are not showing/working. Bathroom is ok, but shower drainer is aweful dirty, clogged up with so much hair that causes water not drain properly during shower. What to say about business hotel in close distance to Playmobil park? They offer self serve breakfasts and dinners with huge selection, although dinners aren't best. You can survive it for once a year

We had an excellent stay in the royal suite which we got as an upgrade from the junior suite that I booked. We had a nice in room dinner and a good night in a good comfortable bed which is extremely important to me. In the morning we a nice breakfast at the breakfast buffet. Very convenient location with a parking garage. We will definitely return here!

Locating, location, location! We travelled by train from Cologne and was so happy to have the hotel so close to the station. Easy walk to old town and also transport for going to Rally ground etc. Online check in meant it took maybe 2 mins to get the keys etc. Building looks brand new? Very happy with our stay.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are very new with many breakfast options. The staff at the reception counter are extremely friendly and also helped us with some issues. We had some issues during check out but it only took 5 minutes for it to be resolved. The hallways are very clean and quiet. I stayed at this hotel and found it to be quite nice. It’s a standard hotel that provides everything you need. The location is perfect, with the U-Bahn station just 1 minute away and the bus station equally close. It’s an awesome choice for short-term accommodation.

My wife and I were just passing through and we stayed one night at this hotel. While we were overly fond of the rooms, we thought the water in the pool was too cold. We also felt that 25€ per person for breakfast was a bit steep of a price. Otherwise, the service from the staff was nice.

The best part of this hotel is the location because there’s a station close by right at the corner. Other than that, it’s a basic no frills room that has everything you need. Star was the huge breakfast spread and they have enough seating available. Thankfully it’s clean and our stay was comfortable. Service is good but the wifi was unreliable.

Great facilities, great location near train station, tube and old town. Staff super nice and helpful and rooms clean and large. Gym and spa were great additions and breakfast perfect - lots of options catering for all, vegans, veggies and gluten free.

When we stayed our room was clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar downstairs even stayed open a little past closing for my wife, a friend and I to have a few drinks. Bartender knew his stuff and was a joy to talk with. Close to attractions and easy walking to everything including a nearby parking garage!

The superior room was very large for a European hotel room. The pool was nice for a January visit. €20/day for parking, but also right next to train station if you come by train. Rates were great for the value provided. Ballroom was a good venue for an event with over 300 people. Staff were friendly and several languages spoken besides English and German.

Stay here from time to time for work. Very nice hotel and very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast selection is very good as well. The rooms are very nice and clean (even though sometimes they can be challenging to find the first time).

Stayed here for one night on business. Easy check in and out with very friendly staff. Rooms reasonable size and pretty well equipped. Being opposite main station makes it a good location.

As a single traveller, I really like this hotel. Easy access, comfortable little lounge/bar where I felt comfortable sitting alone. Staff very good - they helped with my luggage and when they realised the room was a good walk from the lift they changed it to a more accessible room, without being asked.

We just needed the place for one night because we flew out the next day but the workers and room was excellent! Usually I’m pretty uncomfortable on hotels because I like the comfort of my own bed but they rooms were cleaned great and the beds was very comfortable ☺️

The NIU Leo is just a 2min walk from the train station. The property and rooms are spacious and super clean. This property comes with a bunch of amenities from kitchen sink, microwave, and lots of natural light. This should be one of the better niu properties I’ve stayed at, I would recommend it.

Clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet, but understaff (lot of guests when we were there). Not enough places in the parking, so if you arrive late it can be really tricky to find a free spot. A bit far from center and because of construction work it was hard to get around with the u-bahn.

Nice Hotel close to the City of Nuremberg, in a quiet room if required (we have received without any problems, as explicitly desired). Rain shower in the middle of the room, however, in the case of the "not couple", etc. may not be suitable. To us it didn't bother luckily. Otherwise, other room request. Nice Staff. Rooms are modern and bathrooms are a reasonable size with a bath. The sink in the bathroom are a bit outdated. Unfortunately, in front of the Hotel is one of the main roads of the city. Here, crossing paths in addition to cars on a road, and it seems to be a hospital...

For the third Time we have stayed for a few days in the Wöhrdersee Mercure Nürnberg and are amazed by the durability and reliable performance offer what we are experiencing here. You can feel in this house the personal touch in many of the little things – if you have an eye for it - in front of the entrance to the beautifully landscaped flowerbeds, and in the restoration area, plant fresh flowers...

Friendly staff, very nice breakfast buffet. Hot food is even directly fresh and prepared, that is no longer a standard. The room was perfectly fine, the (advertising) price unbeatable!

Amazing contemporary hotel with the most magical indoor pool I've ever experienced. Gorgeous part of Nuremberg to walk around, feels very high end. Comfy bed, Netflix easy to operate on TV. Breakfast was very generous - a 3 tiered high tea style plate offering plus eggs cooked your way. the only criticism is that I was shocked to discover I did not have a bar fridge for drinks or a kettle in my room...

Overall my stay was great, however I think there are a few things that could be better. 1. There are no locks on the room doors (like you would see in a normal hotel - none at all). Being in a foreign country, having a lock on the door is vital. I would have felt much safer with a lock on the door. On one morning the house keeping lady didn’t even knock, and just opened my door - she shouted at me...

We had a great stay at the Karl August. Everything about the room was clean, comfortable and practical. The staff is friendly, well-informed and responsive. The location was superb. Close to all things in the old town but also super quiet in the room. We were delighted to cool off and relax in the spa area after a full day of touring the area.

Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and a huge lobby with plenty of seating and a fireplace. The pool is great - with windows that give you a view of the city centre. The sauna was also fantastic. Breakfast was a delight!
