Hoteler Hof

Couldn’t get much sleep due to a noise coming from street and horrible beds.
If you’re not lucky to get a spot at their paid parking it’s almost impossible to find one in nearby streets.

Be careful with this hotel, because after a completed stay and a request for an invoice for the paid accommodation, the hotel claims that it cannot issue it. The case has been ongoing for several months after the stay ended.

It was cheap, but it was not _that_ cheap. At the time of my review the place is being renovated and frankly we were shocked that they even rent out rooms in this state. Staying here is like sleeping in a skip. Construction materials everywhere, old and new fixtures and fittings all over the place. There was rubble in the freshly made beds in both of the rooms we rented. There are some positives, like the liquid soap they use everywhere smells and works great.

Very noisy due to landing planes flying directly across the hotel. That starts at 5.30 in the morning and you will hear a plane each 5 Minutes. Rooms are very small, but clean and equipped with standards (TV, desk, etc. )
Parking lot limited for approx 10 cars. Otherwise you have to find and place in front of the hotel (good luck)
Breakfast ok, but the offered standards are not worth the price.

Handicapped people will get problems in there. Not recommended.

For a 4 star Hotel I don't expect that the rooms are from the last century. Also the Breakfast is, unfortunately, in every Board better. Colleagues had tried several times to get a Fried egg for Breakfast and were with the comments like....the eggs are.....or the kitchen is not prepared for it. ...put off. I've seen very many of the Hotel's and am amazed at how bad it is. It's Really A Shame.

3-day stay - not very pleasant.

Room was big and clean even though with minor damages, e.g. broken tiles. Ended up in a room with two single beds and facing the noisy street. Windows, doors and walls have very poor soundproofing, e.g. I could understand what my neighbor was saying on the phone and what people said on the street. TV is extremely small. Location is in quite a shady area. Internet is very slow and any form of browsing was close to impossible.

Service was poor on a number of occasions: No ironing set was in the room and when asking for one, I was being told that they cannot hand it out for safety (fire) reasons. Only option was to hand in my shirts and have the hotel iron them for a fee, which was non-negotiable. No room service / restaurant. No free water on arrival. When checking out, I was wrongly charged for items from the minibar (which I hadn't consumed). Only after the staff had personally verified my statement - by physically walking up to the room - the item was eventually removed from the invoice. The check-out process took almost 10 minutes.
