Gekko House is a truly unique and stylish hotel that left a lasting impression. The design is modern and vibrant, with a cool, urban vibe that sets it apart from typical hotel experiences. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring Frankfurt.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The location is also excellent, offering easy access to various parts of the city.
Now, for the "savory twist": upon entering the reception area, you'll be greeted by a distinct and pervasive aroma of grilling meat. For some, this might be a bit overwhelming. However, as a meat lover myself, I found it absolutely heavenly! It added a unique, almost rustic, charm to the hotel, and it honestly made me hungry every time I walked in.
If you're sensitive to strong smells, this might be something to consider. However, if you appreciate a quirky and memorable hotel experience, and especially if you love the smell of grilling meat, Gekko House is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it for its style, comfort, and unique atmosphere.

At first we were hesitant about this hotel because we didn't know about it, but once we arrived we were greeted by very friendly and especially young staff, we had three good nights and slept very well. The room was very neat and nicely decorated in an industrial style. The roof terrace was also very popular. We highly recommend this hotel because the location is also very good. We will definitely come back when we visit our daughter. We couldn't find any real negatives.

Very nice rooms in a very good location, about 20 minutes by tram from the Altstadt. Only the breakfast could be a bit more spacious. The rooftop bar is definitely recommended for the view, the cocktails are very expensive.

It was a unique but nice hotel. It was nice to have Marshall speakers and a Naspresso machine. The pub and restaurant on the ground floor were also particularly nice.

Gekko House Frankfurt is a unique hotel with some quirks. To reach the lobby, you walk through the restaurant, which feels odd with strong food aromas and navigating luggage past diners. The restaurant also serves as the breakfast area, which is efficient but not distinctive.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which helped improve the experience. However, parking was a letdown, as spaces were extremely limited, and I had to search for street parking in the rain.

On the plus side, the hotel’s sleek, minimal design gave it a boutique feel. While there was no Platinum upgrade, the modern decor made the space comfortable. It’s a solid option, though small improvements could make it more seamless.

Second time staying here and has been a great experience both times. Easy to get to the train station, it’s clean and comfortable, and the staff are absolutely lovely - it’s clear they take a lot of pride in the hotel. Special shout out to Sasha in the restaurant for going well above and beyond to take care of guests. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Such a cool place. Very kind staff and safe area. If you take the tram or taxi, car you would have no trouble. If you walk from hbf it might be bit scary but just take the tram. when you arrive than the area is safe. The hotel interior is super hip. and the room is very cool and they have nespresso capsule coffee. 😎 Love it and will definitely go again. Very recommend.
