Gekko House Frankfurt, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Nice location - only 2 tram stations away from Frankfurt Hbf. Nice speaker and TV in the room. Disappointingly, the receptionist tried to double charge the city tax when we check out.

The industrial decor is quite cool, the staff is very chill, and the bed is very comfortable! The hotel is still a bit far from the city center, and the surrounding environment feels a bit unsafe. Overall, the hotel is good, the value for money, and the restaurant downstairs is also good, but the surrounding safety is not good.

The hotel is quite unique. The restaurant is right inside, and you can tell it's well-maintained. It was packed. The food smelled really good too 👍 It's a shame I didn't get a chance to dine.

The room was well-equipped and exquisite. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well.

Now, for the "savory twist": upon entering the reception area, you'll be greeted by a distinct and pervasive aroma of grilling meat. For some, this might be a bit overwhelming. However, as a meat lover myself, I found it absolutely heavenly! It added a unique, almost rustic, charm to the hotel, and it honestly made me hungry every time I walked in.
If you're sensitive to strong smells, this might be something to consider. However, if you appreciate a quirky and memorable hotel experience, and especially if you love the smell of grilling meat, Gekko House is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it for its style, comfort, and unique atmosphere.

At first we were hesitant about this hotel because we didn't know about it, but once we arrived we were greeted by very friendly and especially young staff, we had three good nights and slept very well. The room was very neat and nicely decorated in an industrial style. The roof terrace was also very popular. We highly recommend this hotel because the location is also very good. We will definitely come back when we visit our daughter. We couldn't find any real negatives.

Great staff, they sent me a cake for my special day and the corn soup was delicious

Very nice rooms in a very good location, about 20 minutes by tram from the Altstadt. Only the breakfast could be a bit more spacious. The rooftop bar is definitely recommended for the view, the cocktails are very expensive.
