Hotel opened in 1957, renovated in 2000. In this mini-hotel 73 rooms, 5 floors.

Location excellent. Rooms are decent, but staff apparently doesn't care about anyone. Very unhelpful and rude.
Couldn't even suggest a nearby restaurant or attraction to visit. I felt like we were a bother and they wanted us to leave them alone.

no one on reception from half 10 pm.lost key and nobody there to let us in to.our room.i had my inhaler and other medical supplies which I needed in my room.absolute disgrace for a so called 4 star hotel.told us to.wait till morning.im struggling for breath as I text and cnt get ny inhaler.

The worst hotel I've ever seen in my entire life. At first we were given a room with a non-working hot-heating radiator. Then they changed the room in which the hot heating batteries were working, but it was still terribly cold and impossible to sleep. We had a child with us who fell ill due to the cold. In the morning the staff said that this was normal and that they did not consider the room cold. We immediately changed the hotel and left. Of course, they did not give us any refunds. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

We were given the room on the top floor , which was so cold to stay in( even tho the hitter was on but did not work properly ) , asked the manager to fix , which he could not . And later we were provided with another one , which had a better hitting .
The nightmare started when we went to bed.
Even-though the hitter was working on max , it was still soo cold, like you even could not used the bathroom. We were in bed with our cloth on , double blankets. Our child had a 3 layers of clothing.
Early in the morning we were fed up with this , this is a hotel with 4 stars , mind you . And the experience was so horrible as we were sleeping outside .
The manager came and said “oh its a normal temperature for germany, the room is not cold , at home we also sleep with our cloth on , like layers of cloth” he said. Its WINTER OUTSIDE, -5 degrees, and you want to feel worm when you come back home , not to put a layer of clothing on and and try to worm up.
At the end we changed the hotel and left, and of course no refund.

The hotel was booked for me on a trip for work, but I found the location and hospitality excellent. The room was very comfortable (though more lighting would be great) and there were a lot of good breakfast and room service options. My only complaint was that the wifi was a little bit slow but is understandable in an older building with multiple patrons.

The place was super clean and the staff was very friendly. This is not your typical chain hotel. As an American in Germany, I felt extremely comfortable with all of their arrangements. I highly recommend this place, please give them a shot!

Good value hotel in a nice neighbourhood. I had a quiet single room room on the 4th floor. I arrived early and my room was available so I was able to check in at 11 am.

If you want a fun, quiet, clean and modern place to stay in the heart of the city this is a great hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms are up to date with a fun twist (cobblestone carpet!) and the breakfast is plentiful and tasty. We spent a great night and everywhere we wanted to go was in walking distance.

Wonderful hotel great service the only Critical point is they need to leave a mop in the shower to dry the floor it floods
