Easy to travel to the City by Tram or Train
Room is Clean & Overall Happy with Our Stay😊
My colleague and I (both Black women) had an unsettling and unacceptable experience at the restaurant within [Hotel Name]. We arrived intending to have dinner and were turned away by two workers, who claimed the restaurant was only open for reservations after 21:00 and there was no space available.
Understanding the policy, we left to find food elsewhere. However, upon our return, we witnessed members of our production team (predominantly white men) exiting the restaurant. They had been seated and served without making prior reservations.
When we confronted the two workers about this apparent discrepancy, they avoided taking responsibility and failed to provide a proper explanation for their behavior. Instead, they blamed each other, which only highlighted the lack of accountability and professionalism.
This blatant act of discrimination is deeply troubling and unacceptable. It reflects poorly on the establishment’s commitment to treating all guests with respect and fairness. I hope this incident prompts serious reflection and immediate action to address biases and ensure equitable treatment for all patrons in the future.

Long checkin line, took a good 30 mins to check in, not great after a full day’s work. Receptionist says hotel is full so she gives me an “upgraded room”.
Went to the bar for a nightcap, and when we asked for a Black Russian the barman looked confused, shrugged and said they only do cocktails from the menu (when the menu’s first page clearly says something like “make your own”), without bothering to ask what’s in it or ask another barman. Then when I showed him my Accor All free welcome drink ticket, same barman again shrugged and said I can’t use it…. Thankfully another barman overheard and stepped in and said I could use it.
Headed to the room, and as soon as I opened the door a strong smell of cigarettes hits me. I go to reception to get a room change, another 20 minute wait, and receptionist (older gentleman) first says it’s impossible because the hotel is all non-smoking, then just says “no change, we are full”, and his only solution was to walk me to the MOEVENPICK Messe next door. No discount, no points, not even an apology. Just lies and shrugs.
MOEVENPICK Messe wasn’t much better as I woke up to a strong smell of diesel or jet fuel exhaust in the room.
