I've come to a conference in Stuttgart and stayed 4 nights in the hotel, and the experience was overwhelmingly positive! The hotel is literally across the road from the airport, yet it feels cozy and luxurious. The Stuttgart Messe -the convention center - is just 5 minutes walk away, and so is every kind of public transport. The hotel offers great breakfast, clean and tidy rooms with all the amenities needed. The staff is very attentive, gladly provide assistance with directions and any questions. I checked out early (before breakfast), so they supplied me with a meal to go for the flight. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Unacceptable Discrimination at Mövenpick Hotel
My colleague and I (both Black women) had an unsettling and unacceptable experience at the restaurant within [Hotel Name]. We arrived intending to have dinner and were turned away by two workers, who claimed the restaurant was only open for reservations after 21:00 and there was no space available.
Understanding the policy, we left to find food elsewhere. However, upon our return, we witnessed members of our production team (predominantly white men) exiting the restaurant. They had been seated and served without making prior reservations.
When we confronted the two workers about this apparent discrepancy, they avoided taking responsibility and failed to provide a proper explanation for their behavior. Instead, they blamed each other, which only highlighted the lack of accountability and professionalism.
This blatant act of discrimination is deeply troubling and unacceptable. It reflects poorly on the establishment’s commitment to treating all guests with respect and fairness. I hope this incident prompts serious reflection and immediate action to address biases and ensure equitable treatment for all patrons in the future.

Right by the terminal, but the treatment was abysmal.
Night of 26 Nov 2024.
Long checkin line, took a good 30 mins to check in, not great after a full day’s work. Receptionist says hotel is full so she gives me an “upgraded room”.
Went to the bar for a nightcap, and when we asked for a Black Russian the barman looked confused, shrugged and said they only do cocktails from the menu (when the menu’s first page clearly says something like “make your own”), without bothering to ask what’s in it or ask another barman. Then when I showed him my Accor All free welcome drink ticket, same barman again shrugged and said I can’t use it…. Thankfully another barman overheard and stepped in and said I could use it.
Headed to the room, and as soon as I opened the door a strong smell of cigarettes hits me. I go to reception to get a room change, another 20 minute wait, and receptionist (older gentleman) first says it’s impossible because the hotel is all non-smoking, then just says “no change, we are full”, and his only solution was to walk me to the MOEVENPICK Messe next door. No discount, no points, not even an apology. Just lies and shrugs.
MOEVENPICK Messe wasn’t much better as I woke up to a strong smell of diesel or jet fuel exhaust in the room.

The one thing that is surprising is that there are no USB ports beside the bed. I had to use my laptop charger to charge my phone overnight, which isn't needed at most hotels. But that's a small thing.

It was one of the best airport hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean, and very spacious. The bed was big and very comfortable. I was greeted at the reception with friendly and informative staff. The hotel is also very quiet and you would absolutely not know you're at the airport. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for the night; last visit 7 years ago. Hotel is in wonderful shape, still aesthetically pleasing and clean. Rooms provided both still and sparkling water, as well as coffee machine. Slippers and safe provided. Breakfast buffet was great- I especially liked the provision of local specialties such as Brezeln (pretzels) and Landjaeger. Many different breads and cheeses, fruit, eggs made to order. A very competent and caring staff- kudos to the hotel. A friendly and accomodating front desk staff emhanced my stay: thank you Fr. Ansan and Fr. Dibba! Hope to return sooner next time around. Virtually across tge way from the airport entrance. Easy to access s-bahn, buses, and taxis.

I will continue to come here only for the staff and service they provide. They treat me like family. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet every day. I remember Ms Wagner and Ms Isabel. Ongie and Z in the lounge were my favorite people. The lady from Hong Kong made me feel like I was her best buddy. Such a sweet lady and it was genuine. No doubt about that!
Recommendations for the hotel:
Encourage outdoor entertainment. Everyone wanted to sit outside but it was not supported.
Live music for people as they walk by in the thousands every day.
To the owner: find a new hotel manager. This is obvious and you’re losing the customers outside. Prime real estate for entertainment and you’re not doing anything.

The hotel Movenpick is just beside Stuttgart airport. This is a plus when you travel and have tight schedules.
Fully insulted windows almost tackle any external noise coming from the street and the airport.
The room is spacious with large bathrooms and XL shower. The room is of high end standards.

Ideal location for the airport, truly amazing rooms and room service – fabulous tasty veggie burger!! And overall amazing experience, you really have nothing to worry about! The lady in the cafe is super nice, and wellness and business facilities are also remarkable! I wish the food was same standards in the hotel's other building, at the Manufacturing World Summit...
