Cheap place to stay in a great location, a short 10 minute walk to the public access to the beach. Part of the walk is along a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. Rooms were big and fairly well maintained. Staff was friendly. Beds could use an upgrade. Wifi worked well. The Italian restaurant on site should not be missed, amazing food.

It's an average place. Location is OK but you still have to walk ~8min to get to the public beach. There's a breakfast but it's pretty basic. Staff could be nicer. Room are clean though kind of old looking. And there's a pool, that could be cleaner. You get what you pay for but there's probably a better deal around.

Good and safe place to stay in Bayahibe. Bus transfers to sights or to scuba diving. Quite a distance to the beach, however bikes are available. Parking right in front and very nice Italian restaurant inside, frequented by tourists and locals.

Good value for money even though breakfast isn't included. Staff friendly and clean rooms. However you will probably hear your room neigbours talk and they will hear yours. Don't be fooled by the appearant closeness to the beach. Because of the resort there is a 15 min walk through pesky vendors to reach the public beach.

The owner and the staff are awesome. What ever you need they will go out their way to help you and accomade and help answer any questions you have. Wonderful place with amazing Italian food. We experienced awesome service and a small, boutique hotel feel. We were treated as special guests and enjoyed the location, the grilled squid and the welcoming passion-pina welcome juice drink. Quietest place we stayed during our 10 day trip. We never saw a pool, but spent most of our time exploring parks and beaches nearby.

Food was great, highly recommend the Beef Taggliata: 5 stars! Also appreciated the delivery service! Fast and food was HOT!

Hotel managers are really flexible with the guests. We went to the island and they let us leave out bags and kept them same (peace of mind!). When we came back from the Island the manager had no problem letting us use the hotel shower even when our time expired. Very nice cabaña and confortable, cabaña la bahia os one of the oldest lodging in bayahibe República Dominicana, its been there since bayahibe was not so popular, Its have like 40 years ago, so if you looking for a peaceful place with oceanfront, cabaña la bahia is the best place for your holiday weekend.

Hi,the hotel is very good and i love everything about it but the desserts taste not to good(things like muffins taste better than giant cakes,simple things are better)so if you improve that it would put 5 stars.Also the treatment is not the best is acceptable. But its a nice hotel with a lot of activities to do and you will never feel bored

I went in with a day pass and found the resort to be nice. Lots of seats at the buffet, the beach is big but very crowded. I was there in February, so high season. There are lots of great dining options just outside the resort, the town of Bayahibe is very safe.

It’s a nice hotel with a super friendly staff. Everybody is very open minded and tries it best to make the vacation as great as possible. It’s kind of annoying how a lot of the tourists are behaving, especially from Europe (Germany). We're almost at the end of our trip.we have had a lovely time and we're well looked after by all staff.our room was lovely just on the beach.great selection of restaurants and bars,bars o.n the beach too!! All soft drinks you can help yourself and wine and beer too yo You just need the bars for cocktails freshly made.

Loved this place! staff where amazing, its an older resort but still clean, can't help the humidity! Pool was fantastic and going over to the beach side was great! we had fantastic service the pharmacist Erika was incredible we got our SIM cards and the helped my husband with water in his ear! Would highly recommend this place!!

The beach and activities were a lot of fun and had a lot of options to do throughout the day. And compared to the other reviews from earlier years this resort as really improved. Also the only cons is that they close awfully early and the food is great at first but then it gives a stomach ache for a while and sometimes food poisoning. This is a beautiful resort. The beach has a few rocks but the gorgeous clear water and soft sand makes up for it. We had a small bungalow. It was so convenient and close to everything. Great little shops and a lot to do in terms of activities. Great night life too! Spanish and Italian seem to be the main languages. Food was fine. I would definitely recommend Viva Dominicus by the beach!

However, for me, I missed the basic shake at the bar, which is normally available in other hotels in the Dominican Republic - namely coco loco with rum. But thank you anyway for a nice stay. Beautiful place for resting and spending time during your leave. The staff is polite and perfectly professional. Everything is clean food is good and even if rains. Which is it because of the location. The temperature is still good. I can only recommend this place. Even for families with kids. There are pools for them to enjoy.

Viva Wyndham Dominicus is one the best resort in the Caribbean. Any one who travels to La Romana I m inviting you to go there. You wont regret your trip. The service is perfect. The staff knows how to treat people. I was treated as a king down there. I can't wait to go back.
