Cheap place to stay in a great location, a short 10 minute walk to the public access to the beach. Part of the walk is along a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. Rooms were big and fairly well maintained. Staff was friendly. Beds could use an upgrade. Wifi worked well. The Italian restaurant on site should not be missed, amazing food.

It's an average place. Location is OK but you still have to walk ~8min to get to the public beach. There's a breakfast but it's pretty basic. Staff could be nicer. Room are clean though kind of old looking. And there's a pool, that could be cleaner. You get what you pay for but there's probably a better deal around.

Good and safe place to stay in Bayahibe. Bus transfers to sights or to scuba diving. Quite a distance to the beach, however bikes are available. Parking right in front and very nice Italian restaurant inside, frequented by tourists and locals.

Good value for money even though breakfast isn't included. Staff friendly and clean rooms. However you will probably hear your room neigbours talk and they will hear yours. Don't be fooled by the appearant closeness to the beach. Because of the resort there is a 15 min walk through pesky vendors to reach the public beach.

Gorgeous little resort near the centre of town with a lovely pool, quiet clean rooms, and super friendly receptionists. Highly recommend this place if staying in Bayahibe

Helpful staff, nice pool. Perhaps the best pool in the neighborhood. Clean and nice balcony. Kitchen and washing machine 👌 Close to everything you need!

Five star restaurant at the rooftop with the greatest chief Rudy. You feel all the love flavour at each time you eat food there. About the rooms, calm, proper with the clim. Good localization.

Perfect ! Everyone must eat at the rooftop of this hotel, amazing ! The chief, Rudy and his team, make fresh food and soo delicious. Wraps and his Pasta sea food, waouhhhhhh ! Must to go !

Hotel managers are really flexible with the guests. We went to the island and they let us leave out bags and kept them same (peace of mind!). When we came back from the Island the manager had no problem letting us use the hotel shower even when our time expired. Staff is great and the amenities such as the bar is great, the rooftop pool has a great view of the town so nothing to be jealous of other...

The resort was great with good food and good service although I got allergic reaction from vegetarian food in Italian restaurant as I’m allergic to fish. The other problem that I didn’t expect was the AC was turned off the night before we were supposed to check out. The fan was on. I don’t know if anyone else experienced that or it was a coincidence that AC broke down the night before our check out

The beach and activities were a lot of fun and had a lot of options to do throughout the day. And compared to the other reviews from earlier years this resort as really improved. Also the only cons is that they close awfully early and the food is great at first but then it gives a stomach ache for a while and sometimes food poisoning. So I recommend for the staff to check what they’re cooking with

This is a beautiful resort. The beach has a few rocks but the gorgeous clear water and soft sand makes up for it. We had a small bungalow. It was so convenient and close to everything. Great little shops and a lot to do in terms of activities. Great night life too! Spanish and Italian seem to be the main languages. Food was fine. I would definitely recommend Viva Dominicus by the beach!

I had a great time at this place. The surroundings are stunning and the food at the buffet is delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find a soda machine at the buffet, which I hadn't seen anywhere else. I've only been here for a day, and I still have 9 more days to explore. I'm enjoying my time here. However, I have to mention that the rooms are a bit old and not very clean. Also, there was no coffee...

Good hotel, food ok, always fresh. Average rooms. Service good but could be much better. However, for me, I missed the basic shake at the bar, which is normally available in other hotels in the Dominican Republic - namely coco loco with rum. But thank you anyway for a nice stay. And I'm glad that you take care of cats in the hotel! It's a pity that you don't sterilize them, but at least they have food...

The beach and the riff are very beautiful. We had mixed experiences with the restaurants, they were out of a lot of dishes. If you are vegetarian or lactose intolarent this can be an issue. Service was okay. GC was very nice.

Laury and Ismael from Bloved restaurant (along with all rest of the staff) were so kind and friendly making the service one of a kind. The Pork and apple dish was so good I wanted to eat it every day! So great that we booked another night for dinner and was not disappointed. With regards to the rest of the resort, the people make the difference and it was so worth the visit!! Would visit again! Also...

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff is amazing and the resort clean and safe. Nice and quiet too (when the entertainment wasn't in full swing). Bloved is the very best restaurant of the resort. I've never had a better tuna tartare and every dish was excellent. I wish I had only booked my dinners here during my stay, none of the other restaurants come even close.

Lovely anniversary meal tonight. We decided to use the main buffet restaurant as the choice is always so great. Served by Elizabeth tonight, quick, attentive and polite. Made us welcome and looked after our every needs...... Well done. X

Third time in this Hotel, still wonderful, it doesn't disappoint. Excellent trip... Kudos to Mayerli from the cleaning crew for her services and she always had the best actitud, always smiling and helpful. Kudos to Fernando from the entertainment team, great guy and very friendly. In the beginning of October I had my wedding in viva wyndham dominicus palace. It turned out to be magical and breathe taking. Osmeiry was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond to make sure everything I wanted became reality. She helped with a welcome dinner, the ceremony on the beach and the actual reception in the Atlantis (which had a breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset). Alice...

It was a Perfect vacation, the staff was incredible nice. ☺️ Cardi B is the best. The entertainment was always on point. The restaurant had a lot of different choices and was always good. The rooms were clean and the bed was good.

The room was nice and got cleaned every day that we were there. The staff were friendly and most knew English. Highly recommend

Hi,the hotel is very good and i love everything about it but the desserts taste not to good(things like muffins taste better than giant cakes,simple things are better)so if you improve that it would put 5 stars.Also the treatment is not the best is acceptable. But its a nice hotel with a lot of activities to do and you will never feel bored

I went in with a day pass and found the resort to be nice. Lots of seats at the buffet, the beach is big but very crowded. I was there in February, so high season. There are lots of great dining options just outside the resort, the town of Bayahibe is very safe.

It’s a nice hotel with a super friendly staff. Everybody is very open minded and tries it best to make the vacation as great as possible. It’s kind of annoying how a lot of the tourists are behaving, especially from Europe (Germany). They’re rude, unfriendly, complaining about everything and don’t know to behave and to respect people that are working at the hotel. Feel sorry for you guys. And sorry...

The resort looks good on paper but overall the experience is average. The pools are varying levels of cleanliness, the ground floor partial ocean view appartment looks out on a wall and the back of the beach huts (no ocean), the buffet restaurant is sheer chaos but the food is reasonable (the show-cooking section is good), the house wine is undrinkable so stick to beer or cocktails, the sunset is fabulous...

Food is great, staff are wonderful and very accommodating. I would rate higher if it had better access to the sea. Power loss three time once for over 7 hours. When power is off you have no water, a/c. On plus sides has high speed internet at no charge with that said it drops quite often. Beach towels are given with deposits of 10 US dollars also only replaceable on certain days. Also beach access...

Bad - Wifi is trash (unreliable connection to router, poor download speed). Water pressure is trash. Ant infestation. Next to no hot water. Good - Not busy in early-mid December. Big pool (no diving, but very clean and well maintained). Spacious apartments. Covered balcony. Air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. Got here today I am very impressed the room is beautiful and clean. It's not a lot of people which is great there reinforcing social distances. The food is very good and the staff is attentive and friendly
