3 star hotels in Bayahibe

Cheap place to stay in a great location, a short 10 minute walk to the public access to the beach. Part of the walk is along a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. Rooms were big and fairly well maintained. Staff was friendly. Beds could use an upgrade. Wifi worked well. The Italian restaurant on site should not be missed, amazing food.

It's an average place. Location is OK but you still have to walk ~8min to get to the public beach. There's a breakfast but it's pretty basic. Staff could be nicer. Room are clean though kind of old looking. And there's a pool, that could be cleaner. You get what you pay for but there's probably a better deal around.

Good and safe place to stay in Bayahibe. Bus transfers to sights or to scuba diving. Quite a distance to the beach, however bikes are available. Parking right in front and very nice Italian restaurant inside, frequented by tourists and locals.

Good value for money even though breakfast isn't included. Staff friendly and clean rooms. However you will probably hear your room neigbours talk and they will hear yours. Don't be fooled by the appearant closeness to the beach. Because of the resort there is a 15 min walk through pesky vendors to reach the public beach.

Simple clean and confort. Try small bar for local food

Extremely helpful and kind staff; delicious food; impressive garden where they grow the food for restaurant. They also make cheese and have hens which provide fresh eggs. I felt extremely safe. Ramon and Wesley at front desk are wonderful

It's an average hotel inside La Estancia Golf Resort. The rooms are wide but there isn't cabinet to putting clothes. The doors are not safety. There is a restaurant inside of it. The nature and location is good.

The air-conditioning did not work in our room. Took us several times speaking w the front desk and multiple trips of walking back and forth to the reception area. Which indeed took away from our vacation for sure. The rooms were not very clean. Roach in our room. The dinning restaurants are limited and the food offered isn't very tasty. Positive: I stayed at the hotel for four days. Check-in took a while, but it was within the time limit. We had a beautiful room, a bit small, but in an excellent location. Our room wasn’t ready for over an hour after check in time. The bathroom ceiling was leaking from the air conditioner the entire 5 days and we reported it 3 times and nothing was done about it. Not much help with English speaking for any staff to help with information on the property and directions. All activities were done in Spanish making it impossible to participate.

This was our 4th time in viva Windham, first 3 times was in viva palace, was excellent. This time, January 2025 was in viva Beach. Ocean front bungalow. Love the beach area with snorkeling right on site, only issue was the soda fountain was always limited on options and what they offer was either not set up correctly or out of stock.

People that work at the restaurants, bar area and reception are very nice, but some of the security people are very, very rude. Viva Palace is beside Viva Beach hotel so that you can walk the charming treed walkway between the two properties. Both sites have nightly entertainment - singers, dancing and theatre from 8 to midnight with s disco after hours. International clientele and lots of young families. All sorts of shaded and sunny beach sites. Finally beach is located in a calm bay so lots of ppl in the water all day long...

The property was gorgeous and lots to do and animations for the kids. We all had a great time. The Santa coming on a boat to the resort and handing gifts to every single children was a nice touch. Friendly staff and all multilingual. Not pushy like other timeshare resorts.

In the beginning of October I had my wedding in viva wyndham dominicus palace. It turned out to be magical and breathe taking. Osmeiry was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond to make sure everything I wanted became reality. It was a Perfect vacation, the staff was incredible nice. ☺️ Cardi B is the best. The entertainment was always on point. The restaurant had a lot of different choices and was always good. The rooms were clean and the bed was good.

This is my third time visiting but I notice a radical change with the customer service. Manager is none existent. The manage even ignore the Experian agent that called to resolve the issue. The service in the restaurant is a hit or missed. You might get very attentive service but you might also get those that will let the plates pile up on the table and ignore you completely.

The room was nice and got cleaned every day that we were there. The staff were friendly and most knew English. Highly recommend

Got here today I am very impressed the room is beautiful and clean. It's not a lot of people which is great there reinforcing social distances. The food is very good and the staff is attentive and friendly

Awesome place I have only a good review about my experience there, this place is so beautiful and quiet that I miss already the sound of the birds and the waves, the food, the good service, and the smile that everyone has there makes me feel that I wanna come back as soon as possible, I wanna thanks to all of the people that make my stay wonderful.

Hotel was good. Rooms were clean but a bit dated and standard hotel grade couch, beds. Pool was nice, the hotel restaurant was very good but expensive. Outside the hotel was a litttle underdeveloped and the walk down to the beach was okay but didn’t feel totally safe as a tourist at night. During the day it's fine though. Nearby public beach is fine, a bit small and crowded on a Thurs evening, but...
