Dreams Dominicus La Romana Resort & Spa

Just got back from our vacation in Dreams Dominicus La Romana! It was a great experience and we can’t thank enough all staff and management for this very special and memorable trip for our family! We got a Preferred member status and never regret it. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Our guy Gustavo was excellent! He went above and beyond for us to make our stay at the hotel a luxury family gateway. Beach is excellent! Entertainment team was amazing! Every night is a new awesome show. I enjoyed morning workout and dance on the beach. Always something new either on the beach or on the pool. Food was great-a decent variety and 4 a la carte restaurants and we didn’t need any reservation (as a preferred members). Overall great experience and nice memories. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

I would like to especially thank - El Fish - for all the hospitality and entertainment. My family and I felt extremely welcomed, and he was always super available for us at all times! An example of one of the best employees! Excellent host!

We went as a family, and there is food for children aged 1.5 to 2 years. It's also possible to request that children's meals be prepared on the spot, without salt and strong seasonings!

An experience to repeat! One last piece of advice: bring sports equipment, as it's always nice to have a good gym at the hotel after so much eating and drinking.

Our stay at the Dreams Dominicus Resort and Spa was a wonderful experience. All the workers were so kind especially Mauricio who was very helpful with our baggage claim. When my family and I got there, he greeted us first thing and made us feel so welcomed. He has such a wonderful personality, saying hi to my family when we saw him throughout the resort. Our dining experience was amazing and Pablo our server for one of our dining experiences, was another wonderful person. He has such a vibrant personality and always made sure we were enjoying our dining experience. We truly enjoyed our stay at Dreams Dominicus Resort and Spa and will definitely recommend it.

We have been to a couple different dreams and this one was our favorite. The staff is extremely friendly, beach was stunning. We did the Bali bed for one day, and the romantic dinner which surprised us and was so delicious. We have been to the Dominican 3 times at different resorts but we will be coming back here in 2025. Carlos was our butler who did a phenomenal job arranging everything that was needed. Madelyn was our maid who noticed such fine details of what we like and made it so special. Roman took our pictures and as always did a great job. We knew Roman from another dreams resort that no longer exist so we were so excited to run into him here. I would definitely give this resort a chance.

My adult daughter and I stayed last week. The resort is beautiful and their staff is warm and very friendly. We have already talked about going back to the DR in the future and the hotel plays a large part in it.

Just a few things:

We were a bit taken back at first as the check in rep excitedly advised us that our preferred club 2 dbl room was 'upgraded" to a king and pull out sofa suite. After polite protest, they managed to find us the original room category in short time.

I advised the hotel prior to our trip that we were travelling with a CPAP machine and needed distilled water. Upon CK in, they knew nothing about it and were not acquainted with the machine. But after a few days, there were able to hunt down this water. I say this only out of concern for fellow travelers carrying this device. FYI. I just ordered replacement parts for the machine because it had an odor of mildew which I attribute to humidity, not Dreams.

We did book the preferred club for our stay. We didn't find a great deal of value in it accept for access to the preferred beach bar that served meals.

The spa was absolutely worth every dime we spent! Best massage I ever had and the environment was very calming.

Much of the staff remarkably speaks Spanish, French and English. Our tour guide for Bayahibe Runners spoke 5! Remarkable!

Fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the village-style layout with lots of pools worked really well. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break, and joining the Preferred Club gave us some nice extras.

This resort is beautiful, the beach was sandy and amazing, and the pools were clean and lovely. The entertainment team was so fun and inviting. I have never been to a resort before where they encouraged people to participate in the various activities like water aerobics & Zumba/salsa on the beach. The staff are so welcoming and kind and took interest in getting to know you. I had the pleasure of teaching yoga on the pier every morning, this was an amazing experience to teach to others from around the world and having the sea all around us. I highly recommend this resort!

Definitely worth it! The facilities are beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. The food options were very good as well. My wife, two kids and I enjoyed all of the meals. We have dined in many hotels in the Dominican Republic and this hotel's food quality was really good! Trust me on this one because we are very picky especially when it comes to food quality. We spent some time on the beach and it was a beautiful day and the water was stunning. I truly dont have a single complaint about this resort. Maybe I visited while everything was just running very smoothly because everything just seemed flawless. Whether you come for a vacation or even a day pass it is worth every dollar.
