Excellent hotel and food

Great hotel. I like everything. Family vacation is just wonderful.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was amazing, and the scenery was breathtaking, especially since this was my first time visiting the Dominican Republic. The drinks were delicious, especially the mai thai and the sex on the beach. The beach was especially wonderful considering the stunning view of the ocean. I can't wait to come back to visit in the future

Bloved Yinery, Araceli, Mónica Makel the servers were very good and nice, friendly and professional.
The starters were very good. The main course the Yuca was too dry otherwise the octopus, the scallop potatoes nice and buttery it melted in your mouth, the pickle corn was great. The pumpkin pie the crust was dry and the feeling it could use a touch more of cinnamon.
The beef was tender and juicy, but the gnocchi was over cooked. The tres leches it was a disaster, but the chocolate cake was moist and the chocolate frosting was amazing.

Laury and Ismael from Bloved restaurant (along with all rest of the staff) were so kind and friendly making the service one of a kind. The Pork and apple dish was so good I wanted to eat it every day! So great that we booked another night for dinner and was not disappointed. With regards to the rest of the resort, the people make the difference and it was so worth the visit!! Would visit again! Also, the beach is beautiful and the water was by far the best clearest swim! If yer not sure, be sure now! Book yer stay and book the swim up rooms! Love, live love it all!

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff is amazing and the resort clean and safe. Nice and quiet too (when the entertainment wasn't in full swing).

Bloved is the very best restaurant of the resort. I've never had a better tuna tartare and every dish was excellent. I wish I had only booked my dinners here during my stay, none of the other restaurants come even close.

My fiance and I just came back a couple weeks ago we had an amazing time the staff was very kind and welcoming, the beach was beautiful. I enjoyed the swim up room, but the rooms seems slightly outdated and weren't the cleanest when we arrived just mainly an odd odor that didn't smell clean but they did come and clean every day after we arrived. The dinner restaurants I wasn't the most fond of didn't care for anything they had but the buffet was amazing fresh and great quality I'd rather that everyday than the dinner options Tuesday-Thursday. The drinks were great, and overall BEST employee there was Luis, he was mostly working at the inside bar. But he was amazing, great conversation, made us feel very comfortable, worked hard always checking on us while handling a ton of other guest and he made the best drinks there hands down. I would most definitely go back!

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, the crew will make you have the best experience ever and you will have the fun of your life!! I want to give thanks and big shout out to JC one of the crew members because he really made sure my family and I had an amazing/fun time at this resort. I also want to Thank Reyna (cleaning lady) because thanks to her every single time I walked in my room, the room was spotless!!!

Third time in this Hotel, still wonderful, it doesn't disappoint.

As we come to an end on our 5 day kid free trip, I would like to give back some feedback on our stay. I did a lot of research before coming here. Our goal was to find a crystal clear beach that would not be affected by the seaweed that happens during this time. I am proud to say that I have succeeded! The beach at Catalonia Royal is breath taking. No seaweed in sight! The sand is so soft as well. The ocean is shallow and you can literally stand all the way out by the roped section. This was definitely the high light of our trip! As for the food, it is definitely a hit or miss. We are ones that love to travel to all inclusive resorts and compared to the other places we have been the food wasn’t the best. I must say the best meal we had here was the romantic dinner on the beach. Then there is the service. The workers here are very welcoming and are willing to help with anything. You are always greeted with a smile. There was a slight language barrier for us since we are not fluent in Spanish but that was not a big deal.
So for someone that is researching and trying to find a great getaway I would definitely recommend this resort, especially for the beach alone!
