Everyone, from the front desk to the housekeeping and restaurant staff, all taff in the beach and pool, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional ❤️The service was exceptional! The hotel itself is beautiful, but it’s the amazing team here that truly makes the experience unforgettable

The food was outstanding! The variety at the buffet is incredible, catering to every taste, and the à la carte restaurants were top-notch. We especially loved the fresh seafood and authentic Dominican dishes

This was our second stay at the Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus, and it was just as magical as the first! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that made us feel right at home

This is day 3 of a 6 day stay at Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus. So far my family of 4 is having a great, relaxing time. The food has been really good and the beach is about the best it could be

The beach is pristine, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water, perfect for relaxing or snorkeling. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely view of the gardens

Large territory, in the first days you will wander around looking for your room until you get used to it. The beach is good, there are many places, there are always free sun loungers

The beach and activities were a lot of fun and had a lot of options to do throughout the day. And compared to the other reviews from earlier years this resort as really improved

Also the only cons is that they close awfully early and the food is great at first but then it gives a stomach ache for a while and sometimes food poisoning

The room was a little outdated but nothing too big of a deal. The service was AMAZING! The shows at night were also great! Our favorite was the Circus Show! The beach was gorgeous! The sand felt great

As our first time in DR, we enjoyed our stay at Dreams Dominicus La Romana! The food was great! (highly recommend Seaside Grill, Portofino & Flying Fish - if you’re a Preferred Club Member)

The best hack is the Preferred Pool on the family side of the resort. It's almost always empty and if you're a Preferred member it can really feel like a private pool and bar all to yourself

Visited in September 2024 and had a wonderful vacation. Staff remembered our names/faces and greeted us frequently. Ada was the best bartender at the relaxing pool and gave us great service and attention

Just got back from our vacation in Dreams Dominicus La Romana! It was a great experience and we can’t thank enough all staff and management for this very special and memorable trip for our family! We got a Preferred member status and never regret it

Lovely anniversary meal tonight. We decided to use the main buffet restaurant as the choice is always so great. Served by Elizabeth tonight, quick, attentive and polite. Made us welcome and looked after our every needs

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff is amazing and the resort clean and safe. Nice and quiet too (when the entertainment wasn't in full swing). Bloved is the very best restaurant of the resort

I've never had a better tuna tartare and every dish was excellent. I wish I had only booked my dinners here during my stay, none of the other restaurants come even close

The Pork and apple dish was so good I wanted to eat it every day! So great that we booked another night for dinner and was not disappointed

We stayed at the palace but often found ourselves going to the beach side for the night life. I have been to this hotel multiple times in the past and this is why I decided to have my wedding here

She helped with a welcome dinner, the ceremony on the beach and the actual reception in the Atlantis (which had a breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset)

Macarena was an amazing officiant for the ceremony performing it in both English and Spanish which was just what we needed. The hotel was fun and lively for our 87 guests

Alice helped with anything I need as well when it came to rooms and small stuff like getting me power back when I blew the fuse in my room during hair and make up lol

The palace hotel or the beach hotel will meet all your expectations! The wedding was exactly what I wanted and the resorts themselves will always have something for you to do and enjoy of during the day

A great place to relax with or without children. We are coming for the second time and will probably come again. Cool animation, delicious food, lots of shrimp and squid. Good beach and bottom, almost no seaweed

There was always a good selection at the buffet. We loved the cafe in the lobby where we ordered different coffees and pastries every day. The beach was beautiful and great for kids because the water was calm

The pools are varying levels of cleanliness, the ground floor partial ocean view appartment looks out on a wall and the back of the beach huts (no ocean), the buffet restaurant is sheer chaos but the food is reasonable (the show-cooking section is good), the house wine is undrinkable so stick to beer or cocktails, the sunset is fabulous and the staff are helpful (albeit over-busy)

Food is great, staff are wonderful and very accommodating. I would rate higher if it had better access to the sea. Power loss three time once for over 7 hours. When power is off you have no water, a/c

On plus sides has high speed internet at no charge with that said it drops quite often. Beach towels are given with deposits of 10 US dollars also only replaceable on certain days

Also beach access is available with free shuttle and shopping close by

Certainly not somewhere I'd stay again given the numerous alternative options available on the island

The resort looks good on paper but overall the experience is average

I liked the accessibility of all the little snack bars available right off the beach during the day, and enjoyed the live entertainment each night in the courtyard outside of our rooms which was the perfect nightcap to each of our days

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was amazing, and the scenery was breathtaking, especially since this was my first time visiting the Dominican Republic

The drinks were delicious, especially the mai thai and the sex on the beach. The beach was especially wonderful considering the stunning view of the ocean. I can't wait to come back to visit in the future

The pumpkin pie the crust was dry and the feeling it could use a touch more of cinnamon. The beef was tender and juicy, but the gnocchi was over cooked

The main course the Yuca was too dry otherwise the octopus, the scallop potatoes nice and buttery it melted in your mouth, the pickle corn was great

Bad - Wifi is trash (unreliable connection to router, poor download speed). Good - Not busy in early-mid December. Big pool (no diving, but very clean and well maintained). Air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room

Got here today I am very impressed the room is beautiful and clean. It's not a lot of people which is great there reinforcing social distances. The food is very good and the staff is attentive and friendly

I love this place because the grounds are beautiful. They are very accommodating with their food options. They are on the more expensive side for day passes but I do think the service here makes up for it

This hotel is very unique in the sense that it has several natural water pools overlooking the ocean, creating for a very beautiful scenery

Staff is great and the amenities such as the bar is great, the rooftop pool has a great view of the town so nothing to be jealous of other hotels

Five star restaurant at the rooftop with the greatest chief Rudy. You feel all the love flavour at each time you eat food there. About the rooms, calm, proper with the clim. Good localization.

Hotel managers are really flexible with the guests. We went to the island and they let us leave out bags and kept them same (peace of mind!)

When we came back from the Island the manager had no problem letting us use the hotel shower even when our time expired

Overall it's a great stay if you are going to the island and the location is near the port and the town square

A simple place that has a beautiful view of the sea. The staff are friendly and we enjoyed an excellent paella and Spanish dessert. The price is moderate. Around US12 for a plate of paella.

Excellent. I have visited it 2 times and I always want to go back. Excellent location, well clean and very friendly staff.

Location is fabulous. We could spend all day on this beautiful terrace just looking to the see. We also appreciated complementary fruits from owners, which we had even for our 1-night stay.
