Good hotel. Solid four. We visited during the pandemic, March 2021. One main restaurant and one a la carte were open. It was enough, but not 'wow'. I think it's more fun here when the hotel is open as usual. Service is unhurried. The staff is friendly. Excellent beach with natural shade under the palm trees. Just paradise. Animation from morning to night. Theatrical show in the evenings. Diving. Room cleaning every day. Fitness room. Boat and kayak rental.

Huge, beautiful territory. Food is not bad, beach and sea are cool! Rooms are normal, there is everything you need. Staff is polite. Check-in took a long time, as there were a lot of people.

I give it 5* for the price-quality ratio, for customer focus, for flexibility and the desire to help. My wife and I went on our honeymoon, the management met us halfway and changed our room. The territory is clean, the beach is magnificent, the food and restaurants are 3*. They absolutely do not know how to cook seafood (for an additional fee we ordered lobster in the restaurant, it was burned on a fire, sacrificed 😆) the rest of the food is delicious, especially the fruit. Flamingos live on the territory 🦩 I recommend

The hotel has a huge territory, everything is very well maintained. Beautiful plants, a pond with flamingos, ducks and geese, you can meet an iguana. A gorgeous beach, the water is an amazing color, there is a house reef, we swam with a mask and saw very unusual and beautiful fish. The entire territory and rooms are cleaned regularly and conscientiously. Some of the rooms have been updated, somewhere there are still old rooms. We have a bungalow with old furniture, but quite suitable and in a quiet place. Animation is constant, the guys are trying very hard. The food is beyond praise and tasty, and varied. During the day you can go to different canteens or a pizzeria, in the evening there are many a la carte restaurants, as many as you want, so much and sign up, very decent. We are glad that we chose this hotel!

This is our second time at this location and what a disappointment. I think the management has changed, the place isn’t the same.
I’ll start off by saying Great location and beach, that’s where it ends. Rooms are old and dated with a moldy bathrooms, food isnt that good the main buffet is ok at best. Thank god they serve a decent breakfast. I’ve spent most lunches at bravo(Great pizza) it has the same daily buffet menu. We’ve spent most of our evening exploring new local restaurants outside of the resort.
I would recommend trying the local Italian grocery/ market great selection of wine, beers, cheese and bread. It’s only 5 min walk from viva
If you want to travel for a prime beach and location this is the spot. Don’t think I’ll be coming back to this resort anytime soon unless it’s a very very cheap deal.

We stayed at the resort not long ago, June 2024, so it’s 6 months ago. Decided to go for honey moon for the same beautiful resort based on already great experience.
What’s a disappointment this time!
The place look getto. Everything, literally everything went up sight down.
The room we stayed was so bad: old style; the night stand coming apart; the fridge was not cooling; mold in washroom; the washroom tiles not done proper just hanging some areas; the paint coming off from ceiling. The smell is sewerage, we couldn't sleep.The AC from time to time on and off. The apartment we had was not livable condition.
The food: let me tell about the food. It was another horror movie. The variety is limited. I got the food poison so can’t eat from any resort’s restaurants. I don’t even know how they call these cafeterias as a restaurants.
The management is poor. Stuff did not care about anything. No matter what and how many times you ask for help it goes to nowhere.
This place should be called blow your money and spoil your entire 10 days vacation.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful beach. Great service. Food was tasty. A lot of people but that's the way it is - this object is huge. I would love to go back there.

The resort was great with good food and good service although I got allergic reaction from vegetarian food in Italian restaurant as I’m allergic to fish. The other problem that I didn’t expect was the AC was turned off the night before we were supposed to check out. The fan was on. I don’t know if anyone else experienced that or it was a coincidence that AC broke down the night before our check out.

They need to invest some dollars into simple plumbing issues. We have no water pressure. The A/ C leaks so bad it damages the roof. We are a party of 14, with 7 rooms, some are updated. However, lots of spots where you are next to a fence. Sewer system smell is in most areas of the resort. If you walk near one of the tanks (which are right near the rooms), prepare to smell everyones waste.
Our water pressure was so bad, we had to fill the toilet with a cup, so we could flush a poop.

This is a beautiful resort. The beach has a few rocks but the gorgeous clear water and soft sand makes up for it.
We had a small bungalow. It was so convenient and close to everything.
Great little shops and a lot to do in terms of activities. Great night life too!
Spanish and Italian seem to be the main languages. Food was fine.
I would definitely recommend Viva Dominicus by the beach!
