Laury and Ismael from Bloved restaurant (along with all rest of the staff) were so kind and friendly making the service one of a kind. The Pork and apple dish was so good I wanted to eat it every day! So great that we booked another night for dinner and was not disappointed. With regards to the rest of the resort, the people make the difference and it was so worth the visit!! Would visit again! Also, the beach is beautiful and the water was by far the best clearest swim! If yer not sure, be sure now! Book yer stay and book the swim up rooms! Love, live love it all!

The beach and the riff are very beautiful. We had mixed experiences with the restaurants, they were out of a lot of dishes. If you are vegetarian or lactose intolarent this can be an issue.
Service was okay. GC was very nice.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The staff is amazing and the resort clean and safe. Nice and quiet too (when the entertainment wasn't in full swing).

Bloved is the very best restaurant of the resort. I've never had a better tuna tartare and every dish was excellent. I wish I had only booked my dinners here during my stay, none of the other restaurants come even close.

As we come to an end on our 5 day kid free trip, I would like to give back some feedback on our stay. I did a lot of research before coming here. Our goal was to find a crystal clear beach that would not be affected by the seaweed that happens during this time. I am proud to say that I have succeeded! The beach at Catalonia Royal is breath taking. No seaweed in sight! The sand is so soft as well. The ocean is shallow and you can literally stand all the way out by the roped section. This was definitely the high light of our trip! As for the food, it is definitely a hit or miss. We are ones that love to travel to all inclusive resorts and compared to the other places we have been the food wasn’t the best. I must say the best meal we had here was the romantic dinner on the beach. Then there is the service. The workers here are very welcoming and are willing to help with anything. You are always greeted with a smile. There was a slight language barrier for us since we are not fluent in Spanish but that was not a big deal.
So for someone that is researching and trying to find a great getaway I would definitely recommend this resort, especially for the beach alone!

Excellent hotel!!! I highly recommend this hotel. Staff is Amazing!!!! They are so friendly and helpful. Hotel is super clean all around always! Rooms were clean! Housekeepers kept the room clean and were at our service with any needs we had. Food was amazing! Huge selection of different kinds of food! I can’t say enough good things of this hotel and its staff! I highly recommend the swim out rooms! The beach has no rocks, no seaweed. Beach has super clear waters!!! It has been our best vacation ever!!! We will definitely be going back!!! Book your vacation at this wonderful hotel, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Excellent resort! Saul and Moreno Feo were some of entertainers on the beach and they made sure we had a great time. The drinks kept flowing. The beach was excellent. No seaweed and crystal clear waters. Best beach and staff I’ve ever had in the Dominican. We’re already planning on coming back!

From the moment you step into the resort, you are greeted by the best front desk representative, Hery, who is knowledgeable and incredibly sweet. The location is great, and the resort is very clean and well-kept. The beach is amazing, and the staff are very nice and helpful. If you have any issues or questions, the intelligent manager Jenny is always there to assist you with anything you need. This resort is definitely a relaxing place. I really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be back!"

The resort is beautiful, very clean and meticulously manicured.
The staff is amazing and very friendly. Amare and Juan made sure all our needs were met, from the moment we arrived right through to when we departed. Jennifer took great care of our room, it was clean and well maintained each day, and Luis made sure we had whatever beverages we needed during our times at the beach.
The food was great, from the morning breakfast buffets each day, to the dinner-time meals, the food was well prepared and delicious, and the wait staff was very attentive.
I liked the accessibility of all the little snack bars available right off the beach during the day, and enjoyed the live entertainment each night in the courtyard outside of our rooms which was the perfect nightcap to each of our days.
