This is day 3 of a 6 day stay at Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus. So far my family of 4 is having a great, relaxing time. The food has been really good and the beach is about the best it could be. Such a good vacation so far. Update: all 6 days were amazing. Once again, food and beach are excellent.

I had an amazing time here. I took my 88 year old grandma to meet her friends from Spain. It was an incredible experience. The staff, the food, the atmosphere all were beyond expectations. Big shout outs to some of the staff including “tormenta”, “slim”, “spicy”, and “sexy black”! These wonderful people had made the experience unforgettable. I will be returning!

Had a wedding here in October. With the exception of a couple of issues everything went well, we were very pleased with the end result. Miss Greysi R did an awesome job coordinating the event, I highly recommend her and suggest a promotion Great times, will never forget!!!

The resort was great with good food and good service although I got allergic reaction from vegetarian food in Italian restaurant as I’m allergic to fish. The other problem that I didn’t expect was the AC was turned off the night before we were supposed to check out. The fan was on. I don’t know if anyone else experienced that or it was a coincidence that AC broke down the night before our check out

The beach and activities were a lot of fun and had a lot of options to do throughout the day. And compared to the other reviews from earlier years this resort as really improved. Also the only cons is that they close awfully early and the food is great at first but then it gives a stomach ache for a while and sometimes food poisoning. This is a beautiful resort. The beach has a few rocks but the gorgeous clear water and soft sand makes up for it. We had a small bungalow. It was so convenient and close to everything. Great little shops and a lot to do in terms of activities. Great night life too! Spanish and Italian seem to be the main languages. Food was fine. I would definitely recommend Viva Dominicus by the beach!

I love this resort. I enjoy the 45 minute shuttle from PUJ to the Resort. When you arrive, you are greeted with a glass of champagne fruit drink mixture and warm towel. Family oriented all inclusive resort best for all kind of family vacation, businesses etc. They offer a different show every night, rides, excursions. Food is awesome and abundant. The beach and the riff are very beautiful. We had mixed experiences with the restaurants, they were out of a lot of dishes. If you are vegetarian or lactose intolarent this can be an issue. Service was okay. GC was very nice.

Hi,the hotel is very good and i love everything about it but the desserts taste not to good(things like muffins taste better than giant cakes,simple things are better)so if you improve that it would put 5 stars.Also the treatment is not the best is acceptable. I went in with a day pass and found the resort to be nice. Lots of seats at the buffet, the beach is big but very crowded. I was there in February, so high season. There are lots of great dining options just outside the resort, the town of Bayahibe is very safe.

We had an excellent time. There are so many activities for kids which is unique. The entertainment team was great for adults as well. We LOVED this Hilton Resort. Stayed 5 days 4 nights, the grounds were impeccable, well manicured. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our daughters are 7 & 4 and they had a blast between the water park and all the different pools. Wife did a spa day had nothing but great things to say. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was amazing, and the scenery was breathtaking, especially since this was my first time visiting the Dominican Republic. Cheap place to stay in a great location, a short 10 minute walk to the public access to the beach. Part of the walk is along a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. Rooms were big and fairly well maintained. Staff was friendly. Beds could use an upgrade. Wifi worked well. The Italian restaurant on site should not be missed, amazing food.

It's an average place. Location is OK but you still have to walk ~8min to get to the public beach. There's a breakfast but it's pretty basic. Staff could be nicer. Room are clean though kind of old looking. And there's a pool, that could be cleaner. You get what you pay for but there's probably a better deal around.

Good and safe place to stay in Bayahibe. Bus transfers to sights or to scuba diving. Quite a distance to the beach, however bikes are available. Parking right in front and very nice Italian restaurant inside, frequented by tourists and locals.

Good value for money even though breakfast isn't included. Staff friendly and clean rooms. However you will probably hear your room neigbours talk and they will hear yours. Don't be fooled by the appearant closeness to the beach. Because of the resort there is a 15 min walk through pesky vendors to reach the public beach.

Got here today I am very impressed the room is beautiful and clean. It's not a lot of people which is great there reinforcing social distances. The food is very good and the staff is attentive and friendly

I love this place because the grounds are beautiful. They are very accommodating with their food options. They are on the more expensive side for day passes but I do think the service here makes up for it. Make sure you take into account of what you order though. They overcharged me on drinks that I did not order and then it was a mess at check out. Overall I’d return

We were staying at a local hotel and came for dinner. The service from Gian was impeccable, food was delicious, well presented and excellent value for money. The hotel grounds are stunning, clean, beautifully decorated and unique. Unfortunately we came on our last night, if we came on our first night we would have ate here everyday! Do not sleep on the day pass (pase día) at Tracadero! One of my faves in the DR. Entry fee (~$65 USD) goes toward food and drinks that are actually delicious. The service is excellent, it is rarely crowded and I cannot overemphasize the food quality.
