This is day 3 of a 6 day stay at Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus. So far my family of 4 is having a great, relaxing time. I had an amazing time here. I took my 88 year old grandma to meet her friends from Spain. It was an incredible experience. The staff, the food, the atmosphere all were beyond expectations. Our room wasn’t ready for over an hour after check in time. The bathroom ceiling was leaking from the air conditioner the entire 5 days and we reported it 3 times and nothing was done about it. We had a great time with our family at this hotel. The food and drinks were very good. The service was amazing as well. Alvaro from the Asian restaurant was super nice and helpful. Rafael in the Seagrill restaurant was also super quick in serving us and very nice. Merihan from concierge was constantly checking on us and very helpful as well.

My family and I choose Dreams Dominicus because the listing gave us a family-friendly vibe. We had an excellent time. There are so many activities for kids which is unique. The entertainment team was great for adults as well. We LOVED this Hilton Resort. Stayed 5 days 4 nights, the grounds were impeccable, well manicured. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Viva Palace is beside Viva Beach hotel so that you can walk the charming treed walkway between the two properties. It was a Perfect vacation, the staff was incredible nice. ☺️ Cardi B is the best. The entertainment was always on point. The restaurant had a lot of different choices and was always good. The rooms were clean and the bed was good.

This is my third time visiting but I notice a radical change with the customer service. Manager is none existent. The manage even ignore the Experian agent that called to resolve the issue. The service in the restaurant is a hit or missed. You might get very attentive service but you might also get those that will let the plates pile up on the table and ignore you completely.

The room was nice and got cleaned every day that we were there. The staff were friendly and most knew English. Highly recommend

The resort looks good on paper but overall the experience is average. The pools are varying levels of cleanliness, the ground floor partial ocean view appartment looks out on a wall and the back of the beach huts (no ocean), the buffet restaurant is sheer chaos but the food is reasonable (the show-cooking section is good), the house wine is undrinkable so stick to beer or cocktails, the sunset is fabulous...

When power is off you have no water, a/c. On plus sides has high speed internet at no charge with that said it drops quite often. The hotel's main advantage at this time is the seaweed-free sea, so be prepared for it to be crowded. The sun loungers by the sea are tightly packed in about 10 rows, but you have to reserve a spot in the shade by 8 p.m. The green area is quite large, including a family area where you can stroll. There are many different restaurants, which require reservations, and unfortunately, the food is poor....

This resort has the most beautiful beach you could ever find. Unfortunately, this is the only reason the come here. The other amenities are good but are just like any other resort. The food is also just okay. In fact, during our stay we got very sick from the food for two days. Outside of the beach, swimming, sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling their is not more to do or see here.

Place is good, but personnel could be better. The best by far was our cleaning lady, who was always happy to help us in any way she could. However, to have a rather "standard" service when you paid for a premium one, really does not go according to expectations (or even what was promised). It was good, but we will not be back. There are better options for the same price, and even some cheaper alternatives...

Cheap place to stay in a great location, a short 10 minute walk to the public access to the beach. Part of the walk is along a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. Rooms were big and fairly well maintained. Staff was friendly. Beds could use an upgrade. Wifi worked well. The Italian restaurant on site should not be missed, amazing food.

It's an average place. Location is OK but you still have to walk ~8min to get to the public beach. There's a breakfast but it's pretty basic. Staff could be nicer. Room are clean though kind of old looking. And there's a pool, that could be cleaner. You get what you pay for but there's probably a better deal around.

Good and safe place to stay in Bayahibe. Bus transfers to sights or to scuba diving. Quite a distance to the beach, however bikes are available. Parking right in front and very nice Italian restaurant inside, frequented by tourists and locals.

Good value for money even though breakfast isn't included. Staff friendly and clean rooms. However you will probably hear your room neigbours talk and they will hear yours. Don't be fooled by the appearant closeness to the beach. Because of the resort there is a 15 min walk through pesky vendors to reach the public beach.

I love this place because the grounds are beautiful. They are very accommodating with their food options. They are on the more expensive side for day passes but I do think the service here makes up for it. Make sure you take into account of what you order though. They overcharged me on drinks that I did not order and then it was a mess at check out. Overall I’d return

We were staying at a local hotel and came for dinner. The service from Gian was impeccable, food was delicious, well presented and excellent value for money. The hotel grounds are stunning, clean, beautifully decorated and unique. Unfortunately we came on our last night, if we came on our first night we would have ate here everyday! Do not sleep on the day pass (pase día) at Tracadero! One of my faves in the DR. Entry fee (~$65 USD) goes toward food and drinks that are actually delicious. The service is excellent, it is rarely crowded and I cannot overemphasize the food quality.

Considering the city is small and access to the beach is not possible there, one has everything needed to enjoy in natural and clean environment.
