Saman Boutique Hotel & Residences in Las Terrenas

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Saman Boutique Hotel with my two friends. When the taxi pulled up outside, I must admit I was a little put off by the surrounding area; I needn’t have worried! We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and the hotel itself definitely wowed us all. The garden terrace with pool was like a little oasis and was a lovely area to unwind with a drink or two! Whilst the room itself was a little tight for 3 adults, it had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated. It was very clean and had a maid service everyday, also providing fresh towels. We did sample the continental breakfast, which was lovely, and good value for money. However, we did find a little cafe over the road for lighter bites that suited us better. There are also good transport links for the lovely beach and old town; would definitely recommend this hotel. A special mention to Estella on reception, who was very helpful during our stay.

Quiet little hotel, great pool area, great service, good breakfast... but the lunch/dinner menu is limited and way too expensive for the quality of the food. We ended up going to Porto by Mosquito instead since it was the same price bracket and the quality was waaay superior.

Fantastic service, room was exceptional and I would stay again! However nothing really in reach by walking - it is ok if you have a car.

Comfortable. Good breakfast with good choice of food. Attractive pool area, unheated pool. Location halfway between old town and seafront, both reached by 92 bus in the next street along. Metro station close by. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. It’s a small but good hotel.

Very stylishly designed and well looked after hotel. Yummy food. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool is gorgeous, but the pool cleaning seems to be a challenge sometimes (on two days out of 5, the water had a milky colour, so PH balance wasn’t right).

We had an exceptional experience at Saman. The ambiance, room, decor and food were all special, but above all, the staff were the star of the show. Truly kind, helpful people who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From Yaqueury at the front desk, to Jose Luis the Chef and Jenci the waiter, to our room maintenance staff, everyone was amazing.

We highly recommended Saman for any couples or families seeking a quiet, eco-friendly, comfortable stay surrounded by nature and awesome activities and excursions!

This hotel is a jewel. Very rare does a property look exactly like a picture. Very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Angy helped me from before we got there until we left. They even teach you Spanish. Loved it here and would return.

Super quiet and quaint boutique hotel. 26 rooms very well appointed. Rooms are very comfortable, has a roof top bar, lounge and pool area.
