It’s a gem of a hotel. Situated right next to Sagrada, beautiful views from room. The staff is very very courteous and in true sense understands hospitality. They even opened the terrace for 5 mins as I really wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday at 12 am with a view. Also, they help you with booking a cab or any questions you have. The breakfast is a delight as well. Don’t miss if you are staying there. The terrace restaurant is a must as well. The other things is it’s nice how when you arrive and leave, they know you might wanna keep your bags and go and things like that and have a whole system in place. In true sense they try to make it comfortable for you.

Great views of the Sagrada from the rooftop. Hotel is definitely a 3 to 3.5 star, not a 4 star like some places advertise. A lot of rusted metal in the bathroom. Certain parts of the hotel are in a poor state, big chunks of wall damaged in the hallway etc.

Be sure you check what you paid for. We checked in early and by the time we got back they assigned us a very small room and bed because that was all they had. We complained to the front desk and they gave us a room double the size and a bed double the previous one. Pretty much the second room was what we paid for.

For the price of the hotel, it is just not worth it. I’m surprise to find out that this is a 4 star hotel. Hotel room has dust, the mini fridge has no freezer. The fridge is not plugged at the time of check in, which I need to take it out and plug it in myself. This hotel should’ve a 2-3 star instead. All you are paying for is really just convenient location.

After initial issue with room allocated Fernando the guest relation manager went above and beyond to rectify the situation during a very busy period for the hotel. We were very happy with eventual outcome. Room was great view amazing hotel clean and tidy and staff highly professional and accommodating. Location for us was excellent with some terrific restaurants near by and a great walk to city centre and beach. Thanks for a great end to our holiday in Spain

Although this hotel was in the centre of barcelona and the location couldn’t have been better, there was a couple of negatives which have affected my overall review. For example, we paid an extra 200 for a balcony view and there was no actual balcony which for the extra money i thought there would be. On top of that, we were in room 703 and half of our balcony view was obstructed. Bearing these two things in mind it was not worth the extra money. It should not be advertised as a balcony room as there is no balcony and the window doesn’t open either. Furthermore, the parking was €20 a night which is ridiculous considering how much we have already paid to stay there. Considering i spent over £1,200 pounds on love holidays on flights and this hotel you would expect at least that the parking would be free and if not at least a low cost! Finally, your website advertised that in our room we would have a free, working telly but we did not. In order to fix this we rang reception to get someone to fix this issue and we were told they would come the next morning to fix it but they never did. Therefore, on top of all these costs we didn’t even have a working TV and no staff were sent to fix the problem.

The cleaning of our rooms was satisfactory and up to good standard and as mentioned the location was right in the centre of the city. Other than that, I find very few positives about this hotel when i consider the cost to stay. Would’ve been much better staying somewhere slightly out of the centre for half the price and better facilities.

To all concerned,
When we first approach the hotel we were greeted and what could not be described in any other way than hostile by one of your Receptionists Whose name will rename private, but she is from Venezuela. We walked in the door, with eight suitcases. The reason for this was because we had been traveling on a transatlantic cruise from the United States that ended in Barcelona and were then going to continue our journey through Europe by land for an additional month and a half. Our plans were to check out your hotel and if we liked it, we were planning on staying for an additional two weeks. I must honestly share with you that your receptionist was about 70% of the reason why we didn’t stay. when we walked in, she was literally angry that we had so many bags. She began yelling at us to get all of our bags out-of-the-way and to hurry and grab them and slide them around the side of the desk so that she could put them in storage. Her attitude was very hostile, and genuinely embarrassed us in front of the other guests.
The service was literally horrible. And the experience left us with no choice other than to leave this review.

The girl at the reception of the rooftop is very unfriendly to a point where you just wonder what’s going on with the hospitality here. You cant access without reservation but you can’t make it on the spot and the trough the online website (as she suggested) was not possible.
Wish a good quality approach to clients in the future with solutions and kind attitude. This is unacceptable by such a property.

The hotel was great! We chose a room with a view of the Sagrada which was amazing to wake up to every morning. The rooftop has a stunning view of the Sagrada, as hotel guests we were able to pretty much go up there whenever we wanted for food and drink. My only advice is to arrive as close to check in time as possible. We arrived a few hours early and were not able to get into the room until 3PM.

Although the hotel is physically nice, we encountered several issues with our room. Despite being checked in early by kind staff, we discovered that our bathroom mirrors were emitting excessive heat, making the room uncomfortably warm. Despite setting the AC to its lowest temperature of 20°C (68°F), the room remained hot and humid. After contacting reception at 7:05 pm, we were advised to turn off/on the AC, we told them we did that prior to calling as we wanted to be proactive, they said they would call maintenance. In the meantime, we did turn it off and on again and but the issue persisted. After waiting a long time, at 9:30 pm we called again the receptionist said “oh, so the room is still hot? I’ll call maintenance now. Meaning she didn’t call the first time we called down and disregarded us. Around 9:45 pm we were told maintenance not available onsite. Eventually, we received a loud fan and complimentary breakfast. The hotel was booked out so we couldn’t be moved either. Despite the staff's politeness, the hotel seemed ill-equipped to address maintenance issues. With minimal airflow from a partially open window, the room became unbearably hot, prompting us to consider leaving the main door ajar to the hallways for ventilation. Additionally, the “solution” of a free breakfast and a fan seems unfair given how uncomfortable the room was and how hot it was.

Additionally, the bathroom water temperature fluctuated inconsistently. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we would not choose to stay here again nor recommend it.

Hotel is at a great location, not 100% modern but its in good condition. The lady at front desk of the night shift helped us out and she was really nice. Made a reservation for us for the rooftop bar and gave us a coupon! Great service from her and the guys at the bar, very friendly. The view from the room was really nice but the view from the rooftop bar is even better!! Would stay here again!
