AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS NO AC NO WIFI ROOMS ARE SMOKED IN. Website claims rooms have air conditioning our room does not work took maintenance over an hour to show up the room will not cool off we got a shoulder shrug and handed a rickety fan to use. The website claims that the rooms are non smoking but the room smells like cigarettes and there are cigarettes all over the window ledge (we’re on the 3rd floor). Only one outlet in the room works so we have to choose between leaving the extremely noisy fan plugged in or being able to charge our phones. The front desk refused to refund our money so we could book annother hotel somewhere else and claims to be fully booked so we can’t be moved to another room. And to top it off they claim to have wifi but neither of our phones (one IPhone one android) will connect and neither can my tablet or his laptop.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. But if you have lots of luggage there is no car access. The rooms are extremely small and most have no window. Plus there are zero services at the hotel. But all of this is reflected in the price.

We booked a room for 4, with 1 queen and 2 single beds.
The room has very minimal amenities - no hot water kettle, no soap. But it does come with a nice shower, some hand soap, clean towels and WiFi.
Location was great, everything was within a 20-30 walk. The location didn’t feel super dangerous but since it’s near bars, it can be a little rowdy.
I think if you’re coming with just a group of 2, it’s great since the room is tiny and functional. But anything more, it would be a little tricky in terms of luggage/space.
They do have a lift, but it’s quite small, so only about 2 persons (with luggage).

Location is convenient, but their service was outrageous....... The rooms have paper thin walls and I was right by the elevator shaft which was unbelievably annoying... NO windows (unless you count the scenic elevator shaft). I told 2 separate employees that my room was SUPER warm and there was no hot water, they couldn't have cared less, literally rolled their eyes at me my fiancee. The rudest hotel I have ever visited!

This hotel is a good bang for your buck! Everything was clean. Check in was smooth and receptionist was nice. The interior was cute but the best thing about it was the location, right in the centre of the gothic quarter, lots of cutesy shops, restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance. The interior of the room kinda had a low budget cruise aesthetic but it is great! The only downside would be the walls are thin! Ifykyk

Great location with small but clean rooms. Unfortunately during our stay there was a power cut that left the hotel without light for 24 hours and more. We witnessed the staff left alone to deal with the issue without any help from the senior management to solve it and offer a reasonable option to their customers. After one night spent with no light and no hot water either, we asked for a new place to be booked as that service was not acceptable. One receptionist had told us that they would find another hotel for us and book a cab for us to get there; when this one finished his shift the other one said that they could not accomodate us in the area and it would probably be outside of Barcelona. Then we looked for an alternative ourselves and found a hotel at a walking distance and lower price within 5 minutes of trying. This clearly shows they had no interest in helping their customers and were just hoping we would give up and stay there.

Great stay, the room itself is a little on the basic side but very clean. Every staff member we met was brilliant and the desk being 24 hour maned made it very secure (every guest was buzzed in by reception). The room was very quiet both at night and in the morning. A bit expensive but that is expected with the location.

Great place right in the middle of Gothic District. Clean and quiet. Some people will say that rooms without windows are bad, however that is of personal liking. No windows means it is quiet and dark inside and you sleep as a baby :)

The hotel is in a great location and it is very affordable. The lobby area and the rooms are very nice especially for the price. (About €40 for the night for a single room).
While it was very affordable, The room didn’t have a window. The air con didn’t really work. The room was never hot but also not super cold which I prefer. The bed was quite hard and the pillows thin. If you’re used to Asian hotels then you won’t mind. Europeans might find it a bit uncomfortable.
Overall I would stay here again. It’s very good for the price but bear in mind that it won’t compare to more inexpensive hotels in some aspects.
