Reviews
Rooms were clean.
Staff were all lovely
There was a fairly extensive drink menu for all inclusive.
Food was okay (nothing to worry home about) but there was something for everyone.
Entertainment was local and seemed like a lot of fun.
Children all seemed to be entertained and happy.
A few people taking advantage of the all inclusive drinks but that can't be helped.
Check in was a little slow.
I would definitely recommend a visit though and I think I will be back
grat family hotel / food great / easy walking o shoping
malls
People smoke near the pool and all other areas, guards do not care of that. And this is family hotel, where a lot of small kids just smell this disgusting smoke....
People reserve sunbeds early in the morning with towels, and then just go. So during a day, you don't have even any free sunbed to lay.
Very loud noise music from the stage in the night, does not allow you to sleep, till midnight, noise isolation is very poor in the room.
Staff does not speak English, in EU, in international hotel!
It was several days, when water in pool was too cold.
Bad customer orientation, just to earn money.
Visited in end of Aug 2025.
They only really have air con in the rooms and a little in the restaurant. But we will defo try to go again, it was a really good holiday
Breakfast was ok but food was cold, other meals offered were overcooked / undercooked even freshly cooked meats and fish were left to go cold. I had suckling pig pieces which were either very fatty or so hard you could not bite it. Some of the cutlery was dirty. We were dissapointed. When we arrived we were given a timetable for meals which was incorrect and the receptionist even underlined the incorrect times so we would be aware. The last morning i could see silverfish running across the sheets on my bed. I dont feel hygiene is important enough there.
First and last time booking in to a place like this. The bad feelings about this place start as soon as you arrive and try to park in the hotel, only to be told in Spanish, from what we could make out that there was no parking, we had to park outside and go check in. Check-in tell us there are no spaces, and if any come available it was €24 PER NIGHT to park there. So you are left scrambling trying to find somewhere to park.
There were just so many people and it's like the place is just not set up for it. Badly designed hotel with too many bottle necks in the dining areas and access areas in and out of the pool areas means you are fighting your way around and through throngs of people. Not enough staff in the bar areas means there are constant long queues, when there is ample space in the bars to accommodate 2, 3 or 4 more staff to make things run smoother.
Around the pools is just a warzone with hundreds of people almost sitting on top of each other, the sun loungers are packed in tight rows and the clientele there don't seem to have any concept of personal space and inconvenience to others. We managed to find a quieter area away from the pool which we went to every day, but there was a scramble to get one of the few parasols in the place to shade our kid from the sun.
If you don't time it right, and it took us a few days to work it out, the restaurants are chaos. So many people just running around with plates and drinks crashing in to each other, plates piled high.
The pools were definitely a highlight. The water was refreshing (much needed with 32+ degree heat!) and there were daily activities that kept both adults and kids entertained. It is very much a family-oriented hotel, with plenty of families around enjoying the facilities.
Food-wise, the all-inclusive option was handy and you could eat as much as you liked. There was a decent variety such as pizza, rice and chicken, but the menu was very repetitive and didn’t change much from day to day.
Evenings were lively with shows every night until about 11:30pm. They were entertaining but extremely loud, so not ideal if you have young kids or want an early night.
The rooms were decent, nothing fancy, but had all the essentials you would need for a comfortable stay.
The gym was definitely below par and could use some attention. There were only two treadmills in working order and a single cross trainer that just about did the job. The lat pull-down machine felt like it was on its last legs and the chest press was completely out of order. On top of that, there were no free weights to use on the bench, which really limited the workout options. It wasn’t ideal, but I made do with what was available. For anyone who enjoys keeping up with workouts on holiday, it might feel a little disappointing, though it was still possible to get something done.
In terms of location, Salou is about an hour’s drive from Barcelona, so I would definitely recommend planning a day trip into the city. Locally, there are lots of bars, clubs and food spots if you fancy something different from the hotel. The beach is also close by, about a 10–15 minute walk, and is a lovely sandy beach with plenty of restaurants along it.
Overall, it is a good spot for families looking for fun in the sun, but a few areas could be improved to make the experience more welcoming and varied.
Upon arrival, we found the reception staff to be quite rude and unwelcoming. The staff showed indifference when our wristbands didn't work at first, offering no apology. The hotel was extremely crowded, making it difficult to enjoy the facilities. The dining experience was particularly disappointing, with unclean areas and chaotic with too many people at once and no proper queue system. Always dirty chairs and tables no matter where we sat down. Both my partner and I suffered from diarrhea and vomiting during our stay from day 2-5, which we believe was due to the food at the hotel. This led us to dine out despite having an all-inclusive package.
The pools were overcrowded and littered with trash and snack wrappers. Our room had hard beds, and while housekeeping visited daily, they only provided new towels and made the bed without changing the sheets.
On a positive note, the Coco Bar for all-inclusive drinks had efficient staff and served good drinks.
Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel.
The good thing is that you can open your room with a wristband and deposit money. The hotel is also very large and has two dining rooms. I'll return with my son.
