Description
One of the best hotels Salou, the most suitable for families with children. Beautiful kitchen, very helpful staff, spacious rooms, active animation, good infrastructure, good location towards the sea and the centre of the resort – all these guarantee a great stay.

Location: 110 km from the airport of Barcelona, 15 km from Reus airport, 20 km from the centre of Tarragona, in the centre of Salou, 250 m from the port, 100 m from the beach, on the first line. The nearest bus stop – 50 m taxi stop – 100 m, night bar 500 m, restaurants – 100 m, supermarket – 100 m, pharmacy – 150 m ATM – 100 m.

Consists of two 6-storey and one 7-storey building.
The hotel has 276 rooms (non-Smoking). Perhaps the Union rooms club deluxe suite. There are 5 rooms for disabled guests (superior studio). Wheelchairs – rental on request (extra charge). Access for the disabled to reception, pool, restaurant, restrooms, Elevator.
Beach: public sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1st coastline, Playa de Llevant). Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade. On the beach umbrellas, chairs, mattresses: free. Pool towels: security Deposit (each replacement on the net – for a fee). Poolside umbrellas, chairs, mattresses: free of charge. The beach is 1.2 km away.

On request: dry Breakfast, a cold dinner, early Breakfast (request at the reception the day before 20:00). On request: menu no MSG, natural juice (charge). It is possible to change dinner for lunch. Schedule: Breakfast 07:30-10:30, lunch 12:30-15:30, dinner 19:30-22:00 (schedule may change depending on the season).

The gym area could do with a complete overhaul as there is very little equipment and what is there is in need of repair.
There was nothing to do in the hotel during our stay, the weather was not great and there was no entertainment or any yoga classes or anything at all to keep the guests entertained.
The pool and gym area was closed during 2 of our 4 day stay due to the weather which was unacceptable as other hotel pools in the area were open, one particular day the sun was actually shining and the pool was closed.
The hotel needs to either close altogether in the autumn or provide guests with facilities. I was very disappointed that we were not allowed to use the gym or the pool when the weather was raining.
We booked halfboard and found they offered a wide variety of tasty food for both meals. The seafood dishes were very enjoyable.
The hotel is beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed from hairdryer to extra blankets, toiletries etc. Very comfortable beds and a powerful shower.
All of the staff we spoke to were not only helpful but they were especially warm and friendly too.
It's in a great location across the street from the beach. Short stroll to shops and restaurants.
My only gripe was the poor wifi signal in our room but I managed with roaming mobile.
We'll definitely be booking this hotel again when we're back in Salou.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were good with different options everyday. You can eat as healthy or unhealthy as you want, the choice is yours. ;)
The area was amazing. Close to everything you need and right opposite the beach. No noise issues.

The room, with a spacious balcony, met all our expectations for a family of three.
Friendly helpful staff them seem to flow from Spanish to English with the greatest of ease!

Great family hotel with great facilities.
The room was modern and bright with everything we needed. It was spacious too - important when you’re travelling as a family.
The bathroom did sometimes have a smell of drains but I think there’s not much to be done about that and we just kept the bathroom door closed. The smell came and went.
Breakfast was busy and it’s best to go earlier especially on the weekend. But the staff were friendly, helpful and polite which can’t have been easy on such a busy weekend. Some of the breakfast items weren’t of amazing quality - the pastries and tortilla were a little stale and some of the jams were on the cheaper (so very sugary) end. But there was enough choice to eat well aside from these items.
The pool are is shaded in the afternoon which is great after a hot day at the beach. It does get busy but we were able to find a place to put our things while swimming.
Note: we were there on the weekend of St Joan (end of June) and the noise from the beach was crazy. We were wakened by loud music and petardos at various points one night - but this wasn’t the hotel’s fault at all. I’m mentioning it only for anyone else who stays on that weekend in future ears. Bring earplugs and enjoy the fireworks.
We will definitely return for the great location and clean, modern rooms.
