First of all we booked our holiday then read reviews and was worried what we were coming too. We now on our last day about to go home and just wanted to say please don't listen to bad reviews. Think about the thousands off people who go to these places many people only leave bad reviews and not the good ones. We had a lovely time. Hotel was clean staff were friendly. Pool was ok size and lots off pool entertainment. Lots off food to choose from even if didn't want resturant food can still order snacks from the snack bar till 11pm chips, pizza, hot dogs burgers, toasties, nuggets etc. Some of the evening Entertainment isn't that great but still watchable while drinking and being sociable.

This hotel was absolutely filthy. The rooms were like something out or a horror film. Mould on the toilet pan was absolutely disgusting. They did absolutely nothing for the British holiday makers. Only catered for the Spanish. Every second day bus loads of kids were brought in. Took right over the hotel and the pool. They were extremely rude. Had my disabled mum there and they did nothing to help her. Reception staff extremely rude especially the guy he wouldn't even give you eye contact. Worst two weeks ever.

Staff were welcoming and friendly for the most part, especially the bartenders. Rooms were on the smaller side but were comfortable enough and well maintained and presented. Food was fantastic and had something for everyone. Good pool area and arcade. The few nights we were in for entertainment it was very good. Overall great experience and 2 week stay!

the room was the not too bad, balcony with mountain wiev, 2single beds when we asked for double, baby cot costs extra 42euro for a week, kettle was 20euro, which i never paid for it before, baby play room never cleaned and look really dirty, dead flees and spiders, lots of spider webs and dust.
all inclusive drinks made from machine which was tastless.
beer not to bad,
food for breakfast and lunch is always the same eggs sausages ham and toast.
dinner food not great too.
would not take this hotel or all inclusive.
feels like 2 star hotel.
staff very rude and unfriendly, chasing you for everything. specially in cafeteria

Will not be returning to this hotel. On arrival met by a stoney faced, officious receptionist who gave a curt 'ola' then spent time asking for €18 tax, €40 for a safe key, (€25 on return) and €20 deposit for a kettle when we get been told facilities were available! €85 spent in first few minutes. We were all inclusive. Room was adequate but certainly not 4*. No draw space, tiny bedside tables, no welcome packs of soap etc, the fridge, which you had to pay to use, was filthy with no shelves. No waste bin in room, dirt in the corner which included dried sweetcorn kernels, took photos evidence and left it to see if it was cleared during our stay, it wasn't! Bathroom was a wet room and the shower if more than a gentle flow, wet the whole floor. One day we had to ask for towels as there were none in the room. Had to go to reception as no info on contacting by phone. The balcony was a disgrace. Floor dirty, suspect marks on 2 walls, spider webs and dirt in one corner covering at least 30cms square, metal drying rail worn, rusty and wouldn't open fully, a wide crack from Floor up to above balcony and plaster cracking off tge walls. Have photo evidence. Restaurant was a nightmare, over crowded, very noisy with coach party members shouting to each other, screeching and whooping across the room. The queue for the buffet was the length of the room often waited about 10 mins to get there whilst being jostled by others trying to push in. Food choice limited and usually like warm. Evening Entertainment, the 3 nights it was on was very amateurish. The men's toilets had 4 if the 6 urinals out of action and covered over for the whole week. Moans over .... have to say the restaurant and bar staff were great friendly, obliging, happy to have a laugh with guests. Service with a smile and so quick and efficient. The STAR of the whole place was ZAIRA the restaurant meet and greet lady. Always a smile, ready to help with anything, very efficient. We felt like old friends by the end if the week. (Forgot location not good for people with walking difficulties as too far from beaches with hill to walk back up to the hotel)

Billed as 4* but I'd rate it a middle 3.
Good hotel but limited room facilities...had to buy a kettle...no iron...phone didn't work....but clean. Food was outstanding I have to say. Staff friendly and helpful. Entertainment was mediocre but they tried. Salou is ok but wouldn't go there again.

This should not have a 4☆ rating. It's typical of a 3☆ hotel.

The room was comfortable and spacious, but the floor was filthy on arrival with stains and was never mopped throughout our stay. The walls are paper-thin, you constantly hear furniture moving around other rooms.

The really bad thing is the buffet restaurant, I'm so glad we didn't book for all-inclusive. The food was never served hot, in fact, a lot of the time, it's barely even warm. The choices are weird. For example, why do 2 different types of pizza both meat instead of 1 being just margarita or vegetarian?

The sald bar is plentiful, but they try too hard and add meat with all but one dish. This is the only hotel in Spain that I've stayed at where there isn't tuna or chicken available each night to add to the salad.

There were fruit flies on all of the breakfast pastries and evening desserts, and I mean literally hundreds. More effort needs to be done to stop this.

I will say the pool is fine and not crowded mid September. The staff are friendly and work hard but the above points affect my honest options. I don't recommend this hotel as compared to several others I've stayed at that are 4☆ in Salou.

I also think more can be done to be more environmentally friendly. The single use plastics for shower gel and shampoo is a shame to see.

Firstly I should say that this hotel should not be booked for those looking for a luxury experience or a family getaway. This hotel should only be booked by those comfortable battling with 200+ unsupervised schoolchildren football teams for every meal, for interaction with evening entertainment and for pool space.

Let's start with the positives -the food itself, while fairly basic and limited choice, was pretty good. We were rarely tempted to eat elsewhere. The rooms were decorated fairly nicely, especially the bathrooms which were modern and functional. All rooms have a balcony which is great. The pool itself was nice and we had no trouble getting a spot each day in early July. Location wise, the walk to the beach is fine although annoyingly there isn't a shop without a bit of a walk, which is particularly annoying given water for all inclusive guests can only be obtained from the bar in opening hours

There are a whole load of issues with the hotel that could probably be quite easily resolved. The most galling is the issue that this is a hotel which is associated with the nearby football camps. The consequence of this is the unavoidable gangs (hundreds) of unsupervised children pretty much everywhere, making it almost impossible to get food. Some of the things we witnessed on this trip were unacceptable and not representative of the 4* hotel stay we thought we were getting. Children quite literally wrestling with each other around the pool all day, falling into people and whipping them with floats. The evening entertainment always ended up with a crowd of around 100+ sitting on the floor around the stage making it impossible to get a drink. Some of these situations felt out of control and there were no adults around to assume any kind of responsibility. We avoided the hotel as much as possible following the latest arrival of football teams and dreaded meals or communal things.

Some of the staff seemed to have a bit of a problem with either English or all inclusive guests, or both. Again, there was a genuine sense of dread around going to ask for a drink of water in the day.

Some other minor gripes - surely an all inclusive hotel can provide water without having to go to the bar within opening hours? Surely a 4* hotel can replace the sheets everyday when the maids come in?

Overall I would certainly never stay here again and would urge nobody to do unless you're a football team or are content sharing lifts, meals and your evenings with hundreds of them.

A nice hotel in a good location, not in the centre of the town but a short walk away from it. Also a walkable distance to portaventura world. Food is nicer than most 4 star hotel restaurants but with slightly less choice than most. Nothing bad to say about the hotel apart from the odd way they manage all inclusive, sometimes we'd get given a ticket to pay for drinks at the till, we'd head over and they just scan it and that's it, other times no ticket. Sometimes we get scanned on the way out of the restaurant even though we had to show a card to get in. Nothing that effected us badly just seemed odd.

Booked half board..what a mistake..my daughter rather than be billed for a glass of coke had it snatched and poured away by a bolchy waitress. Room was clean however no drink making facilities and the locked empty fridge cost €17 for the week €3 returned. No access to water or drinks for infants through the night. We upgraded to all inclusive for the last 5 days which stopped serving drinks at 11pm. However we could pay after if we could cope with tables been cleared around us. Small downsides to this nice hotel, however plus side, the male children's rep was amazing. 6/10
