We needed a last moment stay in Girona and this hotel was the only option. But if you have choice, better avoid this place. Really overpriced. Renovation needed. Rooms are very noisy, you can hear everything that is happening in a corridor or in neighbouring rooms. What’s more, the service is terrible. There is no kettle in the room, so you cannot have a tea or a coffee. No mini bar either. They charge additional 2 euros for a tea in the lobby. The drinking water is also a problem. They will give you only one small (0,2) bottle only for the first night of your stay!! With such attitude to your clients, this is a road to nowhere.
As for positive side, the room was rather clean. But they use cheap/smelly products for cleaning. Not good at all.

This hotel is well located, about 5 mins walk from the Old Town. Be warned tho’. It’s sits atop a steep hill and so, if walking, be prepared for about 300metres of a steep climb.
Our room had no safe. Although, I believe reception can offer safe storage. The room was a bit “tired” and could do with a refurb.
The breakfast offering was substantial, and the bar snacks that are available were very good.
There is a roof too terrace which provides a great view of the city and surrounding area. The pool that is located there is a plunge pool, and there is a gym in the hotel, which we never used.

Fantastic views, good quality breakfast. Fast friendly reception staff and bar service. Cycle friendly too. I only mark down from full score as the room was starting to show signs of needing a refurb, particularly the bathroom where the tap for the shower needs to be serviced and a general smarten up. I will return though, a solid 4.5/5.

Nice hotel, 4* with nice public areas, parking and accessibility. Our room was good but silly things keep it at 4* (just). Such as cracked basin in bathroom and no plug. Morning maid walked in without knocking first ( she did apologise but shouldn't happen - pretty basic I would have thought)
Good location away from the main centre but just a €10 taxi ride. Hotel has a functional restaurant but ate in the town. Nice informal bar.

Stayed here recently and overall thought it was good, the room while nice and clean and comfy had a pretty poor view and it would have been nice to have a kettle. The staff are really friendly and the service overall was great even though we had to check in late as our room wasn't ready on arrival, it's a quiet and relaxed place to stay with fantàstic views, the pool could definitely be bigger and it's not exactly close to town, it didn't bother us but bare in mind that you have to scale quite a large hill to get back to the hotel, the food at the restaurant was also really good although the drinks are overpriced. I definitely think for a hotel of this size a lot of space is going to waste, they could have a spa or some other form of entertainment considering that you are a bit out of town. This might have gotten a bit critical but I'd actually recommend staying here, it could just be a bit better.

A tired, soul-less and overpriced hotel.
Check-in was friendly and informative.
Parking is priced in and it is a short walk downhill into the city.
The “swimming pool” is approximately 7 metres by 4 metres and I would more aptly describe it as a plunge pool. We arrived an hour or so before the15:00 check-in time and we’re very aware of the over-use of air fresheners in the communal toilets and our room; honestly, my eyes were watering and I found it uncomfortable to breathe.
It is aptly named though as you do get a good if not beautiful view of Girona.

Very good hotel with comfy beds, clean rooms and quiet. Lovely terrace overlooking the town but just a shame the pool was not open (one reason we chose). About a 10/15 minute steep walk from the centre but kept us fit! Also a fantastic bar half way!

We had the misfortune of staying at Palau de Bellavista by URH twice, once in 2015 when it was under Marriott management and again recently. What a disappointment! The first time around, we were impressed with the hotel's quality and service. The room was clean and modern, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was extensive.
Fast forward 9 years, and the hotel has changed management to URH, and it's a completely different story. The room we stayed in was a disappointment, with worn-out furniture, stained carpets, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn't been renovated in decades. The view from our window was a parking lot, which was a far cry from the beautiful ocean views we had enjoyed during our first stay.
To make matters worse, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. When we asked to change rooms, they refused, citing that the hotel was fully booked (despite the fact that we had seen multiple rooms available online). They seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns or providing any sort of solution.
We ended up spending one uncomfortable night and checking out early, vowing never to return to Palau de Bellavista by URH again. Such a shame, as the hotel had so much potential. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Very good hotel with big beds, clean rooms and quiet. Big comfortable bathroom with bath. Free parking and an huge roof terrace with an amazing view of the city. About a 15 minute steep walk from the city centre but if that is a problem for you a taxi only sets you back about 7 euro. Will be back here when we visit Girona.

A very impressive hotel with very helpful staff and excellent facilities. Set on a hill with fantastic views over Girona it's only a 5 minute walk into town, but I'd get a taxi back as it's a steep hill to walk up 😅 The room was top quality with all amenities provided, even toothbrush and toothpaste if you forget it 👌
There was ample secure parking, some inside which was great for the motorcycle. I didn't have breakfast as I was away early but I'm sure it would have been excellent. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
