Albir Garden Resort

We are here now. Very cloudy week in Spain. But been out walking and enjoying the surrounding area. The apartment is good comfy bed great shower. What else do you need. Lovely kept grounds with water park and other pools. We are self catering so can't say anything about restaurant etc.

favourite hotel to come to when wanting to be near benidorm. Entertainment team are great especially nico, harrison, alex and manel. Food always great every day and lovely afternoon activities near the pool. my second time here and would come back again - zahra xxxx

Very clean apartment. Bathroom looked like it had been refurbished with lovely walk in shower that was nice and powerful. Rest of the room needed a bit of a refurb - furniture and paintwork a bit scuffed in places. Microwave looked brand new. Room overlooked the road and was quite noisy at night. I would think a pool view room would be quieter. Pool area looked nice. Would imagine young families would enjoy the water slides. We didn't use it as we were just on a short 3 night trip visiting family who live in Albir. Brilliant bus service with stop right outside the hotel where you can catch bus to Benidorm and Altea. Only 1.65 euros. Also noticed a couple of taxis always parked outside if prefer to travel that way. Walk to beach only 10 mins and can walk for miles along the sea front. However, if you are looking for a sandy beach don't choose Albir as its a pebble beach. Lots of cafes and restaurants in town. Can recommend one called Sunrise - very varied menu - great food and lovely staff. Big supermarket literally opposite the hotel has everything you would need. Also a Lidl 5 mins walk away.

Great place to stay, large room apartment and kitchen, very comfortable bed the place is ideally for group of friends and sport teams. Excellent food, every day is different kind, on top of that you get those friendly employees especially the bar staff Paula Gaspar both so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. I recommend this Hotel without any doubt.

Very good hotel situated in a great place to explore the lovely town of Albir The hotel is very clean and the food was of a good quality, we stopped on a bed and breakfast basis. Situated close to all amenities and restaurants and a bus stop and taxi rank outside

Brilliant child friendly hotel, ideal for young families, been twice and have rebooked for next May 26. Best value for money hotel around that I have found for a young family.

Rooms are basic but clean, towels changed every 3 days which is about right. Most of the rooms overlook lush green lawns and gardens which are very well maintained.

The staff are brilliant, they make an effort to get people involved in the daytime eg. volleyball, water aerobics etc. In the evening, entertainment starts around 8pm if I remember correctly for mini disco and continues til midnight with reptile shows, fire acts etc. The staff are great with kids.

The pools are clean with non slip edges, a little cold at times but you get used to it. The aqua park is amazing, so many slides and loads for young kids to get involved with and kept entertained. Bigger slides are there for slightly older kids.

The food is above average for this price point hotel, they have a snack bar which served standard stuff like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chips, pizza etc. You can ask for what you want to be made fresh in front of you if you prefer, I always found the staff friendly and willing at the snack bar. The restaurants are great, decent choice every night and they do themed nights eg mexican night etc where there would be more Mexican options alongside the staple options. Been twice, never had any tummy issues or whatever.

The location is great, albir is quiet but not deserted, I'd say just right for young families or older couples. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Albir is a pebbly beach so you are best off getting the bus to Benidorm if you want a beach day, the bus takes about 30 mins if I can remember and the bus stop is outside the hotel. Benidorm is also better if you want to go for a few drinks and a bit of atmosphere. A very good supermarket is opposite the hotel aswell which we used for nappies, wipes, water for the rooms etc.

In summary, this place is great value for money, ideally suited to a young family with plenty of facilities, bars and shops nearby.

We absolutely love Albir Gardens! I went as a kid myself back in the early 2000s and remembered the resort and the joy of making friends with various families. So I decided to take my husband and child here, along with bringing my parents and it didn’t disappoint even with wet weather! The food was great and lots of choice, the care of staff was very clear to see brilliant with my little girl and with my dad having dementia when they caught him wandering one night the entertainment staff took him safely back to his room and we couldn’t be more grateful! The entertainment staff were amazing with the kids and we had a wet week so they put on plenty of entertainment for the families and my little girl loved Manel he was so kind - her first crush! The evening entertainment was wonderful - especially the Disney evening! The pool was a bit cold in the weather and the waterpark was great for chilling and having fun. Would highly recommend and close for a walk to the beach and to the next town of Altea. We are looking to go for a third time with our little one this year and cannot wait to see the lovely chaps for a dance and sing along again!

Food was excellent! For breakfast there was always some different specialtys to choose from. Same for the evening meals. We were here for a week and almost never got the same food. Even tho it was buffet it was nicely done.

All the personal was so service minded and kind straight through, from the receptionist to the maid and chefs.

Got a 4 star for the room because we stayed at one of the oldest rooms, and it was time for a renovation.
