Flash Hotel Benidorm - Recommended Adults Only 4 Sup in Benidorm

Hotel in a great location, staff friendly but not that clean, food crap I could have knocked someone out with bread roll and pizza! Bar only takes cash bit odd and the so call gym seems to be knackered to say the least! Defo not a gym as I know it!

Looked good from the outside.Staying 11Oct---18Oct Allocated room 116 was a decent room but veranda door wouldn't lock so technician repaired it. That same night was a bit windy ,we heard a sound like a jet engine starting coming from gapping around veranda door framework . On second night which was a lot windier the jet engine noise was bad ,so much at 4.30 am I went to reception to register a complaint to be noted and request a change of room when possible later that morning.the young curly haired man on reception was offhanded taking my complaint . When reception opened fully Oscar (very helpful) arranged for the room change to 312. Unfortunately the room didn't get any visit from cleaners nor towels for 2 days . Again Oscar on reception delt with the cleaning and towel change . Overall In my experience The Flash doesn't merit the 4* rating . Would I stay there again NO .
Visited Benidorm on 5/6 occasions previously while staying in much better Hotels .

Positives; nice room, pool view, great location.

Negatives; check in 4pm, 2 Euro 50 for bottle of water with your meal. I am an able bodied single traveller but was put in a disabled room. Shower water ran into the rest of bathroom and bedroom. I had to constantly mop it up with towels. Staff are rude. Only nice staff were on the reception bit. If I left my plate or cup and went up to get something else my table would be cleared and someone else would be sitting there 😆 guess it’s the downside of being a solo traveler.

I would recommend more focus on cleaning in general (rooms, corridor, elevators etc). Second recommendation is to handle food proper way. Watermelon should not taste onion. Cold food should not be warm etc.

Great location if you want to be right by the *****. Wouldn't recommend this for a couples or relaxing holiday. Not for fussy eaters, the food could have been a lot better. Melissa in the dining room was lovely and always served us with a smile!

Bar staff are nice, but they need more people working as you end up queuing for a drink.

Activities are advertised by the pool but we didn't see any for the 5 days we were there.
