GHT Oasis Park & Spa

Spent a week here and was more then happy with the place. Rooms were spacious and cleaners do a good job, bit of wear and tear but easy fixes for the hotels. Rooms wasn't very sound proof as could hear kids running up and down most of the night. Safe and refrigerator are available but at an extra charge which should be a given for a 4 star.

The food was nice but feel that it could do with a bit more of a variety, the signs just say beef or fish etc so you don't actually know what your getting, chefs are doing a great job with the food and obviously busy so they don't really have time for questions that should be on signs like contain bones etc.

The pools were lovely, especially having a separate one for kids next to the club house so there's no complaints, the only thing I'd say I'd that this pool seemed stupidly colder compared to the adult pool.
You will need to fight for beds, unfortunately space provided there's not room for more but it is fun watching people sprinting when the doors open to get one.
Feel that pool staff should check the beds at intervals throughout the day to get the ones that hold beds all day and don't actually use them. They only seem to do this first thing in the morning and that's it.

The bar is the best bit about the hotel. Staff are very polite and jolly with a good variety of drinks on offer.

The first day felt like it was going to be a bad holiday as after traveling for 13 hours to get there we then got told we need to wait around for another couple of hours until the room was ready and then left to it without any sort of explanation of where things are and what's available. Thankfully it did pick up after this.

If your wanting to use the spa area then this is really good, heat beds and sauna are good. The gym on the other hand is not fit for purpose. Very limited kit in there and the equipment then do have is horrendous. Cables have metal wires fraying and poking out so there's a risk of hurting yourself and that's without random cracking sounds coming from them. 100% need upgrading and something like dumbells need to be added.

The area is really nice, decent main road with nice shops on and a short walk to the beach and town centre.

Nice hotel, well located. Close location to the town centre and, on the other hand in a pretty quiet area. The room was OK, but need a little refreshing. Nice, large swimming pool outside with a lot of room for recliners. Food wasn't bad, but actually every day the same (we had breakfasts only). Anyway I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Clean. Good food. Very nice staff exept for one or two but there will always be one or two like that no matter where you go.
Rooms are a bit small if you have two beds there is not much room to move around.
There is wifi and aircon.
The beach is close 5 minutes walk.
I would avoid going there in a weekend when there is a football season because you end up with 50 screaming children running around making so much noise.

We was on vacation 19-28 May 2024. Weather beautiful all week around 25°C.
Hotel family friendly, big selection of food, everyday different dishes everyone will find something! Two outdoor pools which one is under cover makes perfect for children to swim & play! 5*
