We stayed in marina d'or self catering apartment booked through them also .. we were way over other side of village had use of there pool ect and our own pool at apartment.. to much driving for my kind of holiday... Great views but would have preferred to be in hotels wouldn't go back unless got good deal in hotel very old Spanish mostly everything could do with update did adventure park and kids one water park and spa 5star which was amazing with kids spa on top.. said on site no kids in spa so I went alone and kids everywhere so had hubby bring son as he was desperate Todo and wasn't paying another 35 for me to do again altho on closer look needs bit refurb no saunas closed dry rooms steam all closed .. like everything was always something closed altho paying full price.. where water socks as feet were killing walking on mats.. food round about is all pizzas burgers bagets. ... Was two Italian and 1 fish .maybe better in restaurants!!.. over all son loved it he's happy I'm happy..hubby wouldn't go back

A disaster, bad food, Electric cuts, no hot water, etc. When I went to reception, their answer was 'You are coming low season, you should not have high expectations'

Not gonna go light on this review. While I understand everyone needs to make money in business, this place is unbelievable. We arrived to the 3* hotel to be told we would be moving to the 4* . At the time this sounded great even though we hadn't planned to stay in the hotel much except for the food and sleep. We ate at the buffet and drank at the bar in the 4*. The food was beyond awful but at the beginning I put it down to maybe I wasn't picking food i like. The staff at the bar avoid you when they see you have the all inclusive wrist band as they already have your money. Not to mention if you are at the bar alone you can always talk to the cockroaches that swarm the food area also. While complaining to management about my discovery they didn't even flinch with shock as they knew the problem, but ofcourse pretended otherwise. I argued for a refund over the space of 3 days and my final stay in castellon the food area was still open and not fumagated. This was a very disappointing and worrying experience for me as my daughter (3 years old) had eaten here before we made the discovery. When we complained we were given an internal complaint form (fake) instead of a formal complaint form which gets results as it is passed onto the government also. I travel to Spain 3 times a year and I can honestly say I have never been treated like this ever before. I think it's a real shame that this place knows exactly what is going on but pretends otherwise. My advice is to stay away if you value your health

We did not stay at the hotel this time, although we did stay here many years ago, and everything was fine. We did visit the live show on the Saturday evening, which was a good entertainment experience. From 21:00 to 22:30 it's for the kid's. From 22:30 till 24:00, its entertainment aimed at adults. You pay seven euros on entrance for drinks tickets, and that's it. You also do not have to be staying at the hotel to enter.

2 years ago I visited this restaurant! Today I can't believe nothing has changed. The chef should be dismissed. This is not acceptable that a chef can produce quality like this and still have their job!!!!
