Hotel Turia

Very good location for this hotel. Tasty and big breakfast assured by the staff. Very kind and helpful staff starting from the reception, food area, room services. The room has AC or heat system depends on season. The room had balcony with city view. Very close to the Mall and Bus/Metro station (10 minutes)

I have been to Valencia previously and choose the Hotel Turia for its location on this occasion. The room & bathroom were fine and the bed was very comfortable. The bed was made up every day, and the rooms cleaned. The hotel was quite busy, and the breakfast room spilled over into an adjacent room sometimes, but that was not too big a deal. The breakfast selection was great and is well worth booking.
The hotel is close to the Turia metro station so access from the airport is simple.
The hotel bar was not expensive and there is a large outside seating area.
A 15min walk takes you to the old town area. To walk to the beach is 90minutes.
I did not use any public transport but walked between 4 and 14miles/day to see the sights.

Situated right next door to the central bus station, which was extremely convenient when making our way back to the Barcelona Airport.

Also, situated next door, is a beautiful, huge shopping mall called Nuevo Centro; filled with endless beautiful boutiques, Restaurants, a huge grocery store, a pharmacy, a playground for children, etc. etc.

The Hop on, Hop off bus stop is situated right in front of the mall, which was also great for us.

Valencia’s gorgeous city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel; which was absolutely fabulous during our stay.

The only thing that I disliked, is the fact that they don't have a mini bar in the room. We needed a refrigerator for my husbands medication, but undoubtedly, we were thankful that they took care of it.
Also, the safe in our room was outdated ...
you need to ask them for the key.
Ahhh! Well … I didn't quite understand that.

But all in all ...
It's a beautiful Hotel, super, super clean, well situated and to top it all off
It offers a super delicious breakfast buffet.
Everything was extremely fresh; well prepared and presented with care.

I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Take care of the gang problem outside the hotel with the police! A huge advantage is that the hotel is located very close to the central bus station, just a minute's walk. The disadvantage is that in this area there are many homeless people and many Arab criminals, it felt very scary for me to walk around there in the dark. The hotel is a little outdated and you feel it mainly in the room, there is no refrigerator or mini bar and there is no particularly technological TV and it's a shame because the room is large and very comfortable with a good shower. Proximity to the station allows public transportation to be readily available all day. In addition, the staff is nice and helpful with an excellent dining room both in the morning and in the evening at a high and good level.

Very nice hotel in an ideal location for visiting Valencia. Great transport links nearby and also just a short walk from the park, shopping mall and the Old Town. Decent rooms and good facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast options too.

Decently priced hotel walking distance from city center and across from old river park area. The rooms are a bit dated, most annoying thing in my room on 10th floor is wifi didn't work so I needed to go to lobby to work (and wasn't stable even down there). Service was very nice and quick. Liked the welcome drink by the elevator. Has a bar and restaurant in the lobby. Would stay again but not if I plan to work during my stay.

Recommendable despite potential for improvement.

We booked the Hotel Turia for a city trip. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to the bus station and the Turia metro stop. The walk through Turia Park into the city is also easy. There is a shopping centre opposite the hotel with everything you need. The service at the hotel was courteous and very friendly throughout. The breakfast is extensive. However, we would have liked a little more variety. For example, we had the same sliced fruit every day. A little more variation would be great here. Nevertheless, we have no complaints. It was also nice to be greeted with a welcome drink (water with citrus fruits) in the lobby after a day in the heat. The hotel itself was also clean throughout. However, the hotel is a bit dated and also quite noisy. The situation with the lifts is also not so nice. The lifts are quite small and incredibly slow. If you are staying on one of the upper floors (the hotel has 10), it can be nerve-wracking to take the lift at peak times, especially as the displays on the lifts don't work and you therefore don't know where the lift is currently located. What we missed was a small fridge in the room. Unfortunately it is not possible to keep anything cold. It would also be nice to have a few international TV channels. There are about 70 channels, some of which don't work and otherwise almost exclusively regional Spanish channels. We therefore used a tablet extensively and had to realise that the WLAN is a disaster. On the one hand the transmission speed is very slow, on the other hand you are constantly disconnected from the WLAN (both mobile phones and the tablet had these problems). It is also a big problem for us when the "do not disturb" signs on the room doors are ignored. Unfortunately, this happened twice. Apparently it is assumed that these no longer apply at lunchtime. We would like to decide for ourselves when our room is cleaned and when it is not. Therefore, a "do not disturb" sign should be respected by the cleaning staff at all times of the day.

To summarise, we would still recommend the hotel if you want to explore the city!

Friendly and helpful staff. Close to bus station, luggage storage and amazing breakfast. Rooms were a bit out of date but were clean and had all we needed. Gluten-free and lactose-free items at breakfast, lots of variety. We'd definitely stay again.

Nice hotel - clean and well located for bus station (next door). Breakfast is self service but exceptional with great choice and very efficient staff. Located opposite Park with good cycle and walking routes and approx 15 mins from old centre
