Hotel Seramar Comodoro Playa in Palma Nova

What an absolute gem of a hotel.
Our first time visiting Mallorca and with a family member with mobility issues, we were looking for a hotel with easy access to a nice flat promenade.
The Comodoro Playa has exactly this and more.
Right next to great restaurants.
A few steps to board a brilliant glass bottom boat trip.
The beach right there a few strides away that was a snorkeling paradise.
Perfect.
Then there is the hotel itself.
Beautiful, tranquil, clean.
Delicious breakfasts (we didn't have evening meals)
Great poolside dining for lunchtime (club sandwich was gorgeous and our child loved the chicken dipper strips)
Our room had two bedrooms and a spacious shower room.
This was cleaned and beds made daily by such a lovely cleaning lady she deserves praise.
All the staff were courteous, super friendly and seemed to really care about the guests.
The upstairs jacuzzi area with loads of sunbeds and shaded double beds was pure luxury with a view to die for.
One thing that stood out also was the guests. No rowdy groups. Just friendly people from all walks of life. There was a definite aire of elegance and it did make us feel very lucky to have been here.
While we were there we checked out other hotels, but none fit the bill as well as the Comodoro. It will be our first choice in the coming years because, we will definitely be revisiting beautiful Mallorca and the Comodoro Playa.

Good hotel great location

Great hotel overall – but disappointed by one major issue My family and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Seramar Comodoro, located in Palmanova, Mallorca. It’s a hotel and location I would have gladly given five stars for several reasons: • Friendly staff at reception, the bar, and among the kitchen/restaurant team • Excellent location • Nice spa and pool area However, I’m only giving four stars due to one disappointing aspect: At the pool area, the lifeguard was extremely strict—probably just enforcing rules set by management. But in 35-degree heat, not being allowed to bring your own water to the pool is, in my opinion, unacceptable. I understand the hotel needs to make money, and we absolutely contributed—buying food, drinks, and fresh fruit from the bar. But profiting off water during an extreme heatwave affecting all of Southern Europe? That feels like poor service. Many places even offer water for free in such conditions. That said, overall it is a good place to stay. There is some noise from nearby Magaluf, but that’s part of the deal when choosing this location for your holiday. Will we return? I’m not sure. We were four adults and spent quite a bit of money at this hotel. Stay at Room 402 and 403 from 28 june to 5 july 2025. Beautiful 10 day holiday from the start the staff cannot do enough...check in a breeze..lots of recommemdations...food is amazing..with magnigicent choice. Bit of a disaster with a broken tooth..appointment made for same day and as no taxi available Hotel manager took us there....what a hero....nothing has been too much trouble..views are amazing...and rooms are well kept and very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff. We did bed and breakfast and food was good,(some strange items like broccoli on the breakfast Buffett 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️). Clean rooms with comfy beds. We’ve stayed at Zafiro Palace, (5 star), Fergus Style Tobago and Elba and prefer this hotel to all of them. The views across the bay are stunning. Would highly recommend.

I recently stayed in this hotel for ten nights
Fabulous location only 20 metres to the lovely beach..The room had all we needed for our stay.
It was a good size room plenty of storage space .
A good size bathroom with walk in shower.Always plenty of hot water available..
A lovely balcony with table and chairs looking out over the beach.
Always well maintained by the cleaning staff.
The facilities around the hotel were perfect from the pool, jacuzzi, sun loungers.A nice relaxed atmosphere around the hotel.
The food in the hotel was very good for the breakfast and evening meal.
Always a good choice with plenty of variety.
The food we had was always hot..
All The staff in the hotel were so helpful, kind and attentive to us and to other guests ..
The hotel should be so lucky to have such good staff.I look forward to going back again.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay...
