I suppose the negative side is that Palacio Avenida needs a bit of work. Unattached toilet seat and dripping tap, for example, aren't a great advert, not to mention the legendary, ancient carpet from other reviews.
But they try hard. For a decent night's sleep on the edge of the city, you can overlook some of the flaws. With a bit of TLC, this place would be a gem.
A couple recommendations to the hotel
Please provide microwave, ice and a kettle for hot water at some common place such as the restaurant so that people who are used to these amenities can use them. It will of great help.
Also please let the temperature set up to 22. I was ok with 24 however it can be humid sometimes and some people like 22.
Carpet had stains but was vacuumed and seemed clean. Again, that can be improved with a good carpet stain cleaning wet vacuum.
In case you wanna improve.
My stay was not bad, and I would recommend this hotel.
Room facilities not quite as advertised (toothpaste, comb not included, for example).
Would recommend it.
