Hotel Riosol

Fab views, we stayed in a superior one bedroom apartment. Place is like a maze! Not for people who have trouble walking or in wheelchairs as its mostly steps. Bar only has one person serving at a time so ques were long. Food was a shock, so wouldn't recommend all inclusive. Some rooms don't come with air-conditioning so check that out before u go. Our group had 4 rooms. Pool was spacious, kids pool was drained on day two. The private pool upstairs was nice and chill.

You pay for what you get ! Me and the girls were on a budget last minute holiday.

We picked Hotel Riosol as it had great views of the sea and it was central to amenities. Our beds were comfortable and weather is perfect for some December sun. The location of the hotel is right on top of the hills so getting down requires taxi's if not car hire should be an option.

The room we stayed in is a little outdated, there is no air con in our room making it stuffy, however it is fine for winter sun. Our hotel did have a cockroach one night so cleanliness isn't immaculate. There is a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, as the restaurant hotel is situated on top of the hotel with amazing views of the sea.

The hotel staff were OK, sometimes it seems like you caught them at a bad moment and they seem unwilling to help you or uninterested to go beyond for their customers. Again mediocre...

For anyone coming to stay here, I do recommend, however don't come with huge expectations.

Good to be able to get away again but this apart/hotel is ok, quite tired, no good if you have mobility issues. Lack of ac in the apartments would probably stop me returning, you only get one fan for living area and the bedroom (which is roasting when returning after a evening out)
Overall a bit underwhelmed, positives were the staff, from cleaners, bar staff, entertainment lady, one special mention has to go to Ricardo, from day one he made us very welcome, always joking around but very good at his job! and an extremely hard worker.
One real negative was on the last day I asked the reception manager if we could keep our room on to shower, as we wasn't getting picked up until 17.30, he just said yes 25 euros! The place certainly wasn't busy and nowhere near three quarters occupancy. I thought this was a bit unfair but he wouldn't budge and just turned away from me! I just walked away. I told my wife and a while later she went and asked the same thing, when she mentioned our room number he changed tone again! I obviously got under his skin! He then offered her a room to shower later on?? Why didn't he offer this to me rather than demanding 25 euros?! When we collected our key to the 'shower room' we had to drag our luggage to the other end of the complex and of course up more stairs!! Guess what?? A fresh newly cleaned apartment awaited us?! In actual fact it was probably in better condition than our original room. SO now the not only have to clean our old room, they have to clean another apartment??!! So beware the unhelpful man at reception!!
but if all else fails, ask for a shower room 🤷‍♂️😁
