Aparthotel las Dunas in Sancti Petri

I stayed at Aparthotel Las Dunas in June 2025 to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with some highlights and a few areas for improvement.

Pros:
• The room was clean and spacious, offering good comfort throughout the stay. However, it could benefit from some updates to the furniture and infrastructure.
• The location is excellent, right in front of La Barrosa Beach, with direct access via wooden walkways—perfect for beach lovers.
• The food was a pleasant surprise: there was a wide variety at the buffet, and everything was very tasty.
• The hotel provides a calm and family-friendly environment, with well-maintained gardens and clean pools (including a children's pool).
• June was a great time to visit, with mild weather and fewer crowds, making the stay relaxing.

Cons:
• During the booking, I mentioned that I was celebrating my wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, this was the only hotel where I have never received any kind of gesture or acknowledgment for the occasion. A small touch would have made the stay more memorable.
• In room 146, some tiles were loose and caused noise, which was unusual and a new experience for me.
• Parking costs €12 per day, which felt a bit expensive.
• The entertainment for children was limited during June compared to the high season.

Conclusion:
I recommend Aparthotel Las Dunas, especially for families or couples seeking a relaxing beach holiday. With its great location, comfortable rooms, and tasty food, it offers a solid choice outside of peak season. However, small improvements in guest recognition and facilities would enhance the overall experience.

Excellent! Huge suits with all the necessary utensils, huge comfortable beds, huge bathrooms, and close to some 14km long and very wide beach.
Will definitely come back there again.

Very beautiful beach in front of the aparthotel. The kitchen is good enough for a longer stay. The hotel itself is a bit old but clean. Friendly service but the breakfast is really not that good. We haven't tested dinner or lunch ...

My husband and I had a wonderful holiday in this very nicely located hotel. Breakfast buffet was very extensive, the entire area is very well maintained, there is a quick access to the dunes and beach, friendly staff and well cleaned apartment.

Very nice hotel. The only thing missing were kitchen towels. Although it's a bigger hotel area it's never too loud. Breakfast is OK, AC is very effective, the view from the balcony and the access to the beach is also good! The sea is wonderful, no problem to go swimming. Staff is nice and helpful. I would recommend it anytime!

Well run hotel, very clean, friendly staff, food was good but main meal was a bit limited if you don't like fish, but saying that it was 90% Spanish families and they like fish.

Nice green areas all around the apartments, so much diversity in plants and all very well kept. Appartements are fine, fourniture is not very modern but yet fine, just a bit of humidity smell sometimes. Wi-fi is provided in all rooms but coverage and bandwidth is really poor, do not count on it. Kids activities are fine from 4 years on. Access to the beach is really handy, just 2 minutes walk from a private path directly from the appartements. Breakfast quality is not what you would expect from a 4 stars hotel. Friendly staff.
