We recently celebrated our wedding day at the Gran Hotel Victoria, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. ❤️ From the beautiful ceremony that the team set up, to the delicious dinner and the truly unforgettable party, everything went perfectly smoothly. The staff made us and our guests feel welcome and cared for — their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine warmth truly made the day magical. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. The room booked (double with terrace) is extremely small. Struggled to open two cabin bags. Definitely not worth EUR260 - basically there is surge pricing going on. The bed was comfortable. Bedside lighting a bit on the bright side, disturbs the partner if on.
Our Land Rover Defender did not fit in the underground parking. No solution was offered. I asked if we could park on the street, and the answer was “yes, anywhere where there are white lines.” Receptionist could have warned me that I would not find parking on the street (drove around for 25 minutes!) . Even better / mor helpful would have been to advise me to drive to the following nearby public parking (free):

And drive to the end to park. From there, it takes a few minutes up to the steps to park.
We asked about possibility of late check out (as we only checked in after midnight) - we were given 30 minutes beyond normal noon check out. Beyond that we would be charged 50% of the room price.
The breakfast was underwhelming.
The location was excellent.
Maybe go here in low season and book the larger rooms for a good price?

Lovely hotel in Sandinero. All staff were very friendly, particularly the receptionist we met. Good English spoken which is always appreciated. The room we had was very large with sea views. It was a longish walk into Santander, but the bus service looked very efficient. Would highly recommend this hotel. There is underground parking but also free stree parking opposite, if you can get a place...

Lovely hotel and very well located. Easy parking which is underground and secure.
Only quibble is the shower needs a hand rail, to hold onto if you're a little wobbly on your feet, and rooms need power points next to bed. Very clean hotel and very welcoming staff

JvanJo is an excellent staff in this hotel, he is very kind and helpful, when I got sick on May.20 almost midnight, he did his best helping me to call a emergency medical doctor and called a taxi took me to a pharmacist , and explained to taxi driver what we needed and where to go. At the end, my health issue got under control , and improving. He saved my life. I am very grateful to his kindness and help.

This hotel is wonderful and is conveniently situated a short walk from the beautiful Sardinero beaches, restaurants and bars. The reception and bar/restaurant staff are friendly, professional and extremely helpful, they spoke English very well. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable with great views of the sea and the housekeeping service was second to none. The breakfast buffet is delicious, fresh and ample with something to suit all tastes and the evening meals are very varied with excellent service, although we only chose to eat here once due to the many other options to try in Santander/Sardinero! This is our second stay at this hotel and I’ve no doubt it won’t be our last!

The front desk service is good and can communicate in English. There is a parking garage (extra charge, about 20 euros a day), close to the Magdalena Palace and can be reached on foot

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Beautiful location and the amenities were excellent. The staff were wonderful, warm, friendly, and very professional. I recommend the hotel highly, and would definitely stay there again.

I love this hotel. I love their service from front desk to housekeeping. The hotel is very clean. Also, i love the interior of my room. It’s very close to the beach as well. If ever I’ll come back to Santander, i’ll book again to this hotel.
