Excellent location overlooking a nice beach. Clean and modern on the inside, with a retro facade that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding 19th century hotels around it. Reasonably priced in the winter, although I’m told summer prices can be eye watering. Overall highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is idyllic. It is facing the beach and water. The hotel has pleasing outside aesthetics, it seems to glow particularly in the night. The service received was okay. However, Eva from the reception was excellent and stood out. She made me feel welcome and was always smiling and helpful. The amenities work, even the air-conditioning. The rooms are fairly spacious and quiet which is always welcome. Their breakfast buffet was adequate though limited. This is in comparison to other hotels I have visited. I also felt the menu was limited. However, despite these minor nuisances, I enjoyed my stay and the beautiful people and city.

We stayed in a room with a sea view and a terrace, which is quite charming. However, the room itself is quite small, with hardly any space between the bedsides and the walls. If you have limited mobility, getting in and out of bed could be quite challenging.

The terrace is a major advantage, provided it doesn’t rain. If it does, you’ll be stuck in the small room. Additionally, they don’t offer umbrellas at the reception or concierge, so be sure to bring one with you during the rainy season.

The bar and restaurant don’t live up to the standard of a four-star hotel. The bar resembles a tavern, and the restaurant is located in a back room. While there are many dining options nearby, make sure to make reservations in advance.

Overall, if you prioritize the view, this hotel is a good choice. However, for other four-star amenities, you might want to consider other options. We haven’t tried their breakfast yet, so we’re looking forward to that tomorrow.

This is a fantastic hotel in which to relax and enjoy what is a very cosmopolitan town. The view from our room was spectacular and it offered a good level of comfort. The staff are hardworking and helpful and you have a choice of places to eat. The surrounding area offers excellent restaurants and bars if you want a walk.

Considering what we paid to stay at this hotel, I would expect breakfast to be included and tea & coffee making facilities in the room.
Restaurant didn’t open until 8.30pm which is too late for children to eat. After some searching we found a lovely little restaurant around the corner from the hotel.
Balcony overlooking the beach was the best part of the room.
Reception staff were polite and friendly, but we felt like they have heard our gripes before from other guests.
This hotel is lucky that it has a good location.

Pour value for the money 280€ a night The location is great the architecture impressive but inside it is cold and impersonal you are in Spain in Cantabria but you could be in Australia or in Texas as well. The welcome is cold and they only provide the strict minimum. Not even a bottle of water in the room. You feel the greediness of the owners.

What a beautiful hotel with great service. I do recommend this hotel if you visit Santander. The rooms are spacious and clean.

What first class hotel doesn’t have a bellman at 14:00 ? (2:00 in the afternoon) the Two girls (very young) couldn’t be any less personable to the point of rude. We walked by twice said hello they didn’t look up from their phones. The location is great the junior suite awkward design and cold.
I just saw my room is 1/2 price of what I paid on booking com tonight figures the hotel is empty. I keep adding because management needs to wake up. No Mini Bar? No real glasses I stayed in a hotel last night in San Sebastián and had real glasses at ½ the room rate. Did I mention the worst pillows in Europe? I’ve stayed here before and the services are falling fast. I should have stayed anywhere else.

Beautiful comfortable accommodation. The Menu del Día was terrific value & quality.
Next morning prebooked breakfast €26/2 was pointless, it was a struggle to get service, cafe 2 x toast & a tiny sandwich, asked for zumo, none came. It was appalling value served by someone who seemed to bieve customers were in the way

Amazing hotel!!!
Staff are really helpful, friendly, and polite. Location is spot on. Just a stone's throw from a beautiful beach, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Regular buses run from just outside the hotel to Santander itself.
Just 5 minutes drive from the ferry port
