Good experience overall, stayed only for 1 night, room conditions were good, good size.
Pool was closed on that day.
Its quite distant from the city, but taxis are available to get you there. Breakfeast was really good.
There is no kids park or kids pool.

There is no doubt this hotel is beautifully situated and the rooms are beautiful with easy access to the pool. The service unfortunately was very poor, especially at the restaurant and the terrace - exceptionally slow.
Were it not for this we would have returned for a second visit but alas!

Located on top of a small hill, the view of Toledo's cityscape from the room and balcony is superb, and is highly recommended.
It was a blissful time to drink a beer while watching the sunrise and sunset.
The rooms have been beautifully renovated and are new, with perfect size and service.
It's definitely worth a stay if you're in Toledo, and our local taxi driver raved about it.

Stunning location, great views, good food, and well equipped rooms. One wing overlooking the city and another wing the swimming pool. Drinks on the terrace can be spoilt by hoards of day visitors taking photos in front of you!

Spectacular view, great service, but otherwise average hotel and overpriced considering the inconvenient location.
Not much to do here. Too hot in the common areas in the middle of the day. Could use misters on the terrace and an AC in the cafe. A gym or fitness center would be nice.
The pool is cold but has no shade.
The wifi is slow. The TV has some wireless display function but the WiFi is too poor for a connection to be made.
I recommend staying at a cheaper hotel down the hill, unless you prefer feeling like Rapunzel locked in her tower.

Beautiful hotel with a very nice staff. The views are amazing. However…we were there in early April when the outside temperature was 80 degrees fully expecting air conditioning in our junior suite. Nope. Wrong. And no fans either. Their solution was to open the windows which have no screens and the room was immediately filled with mosquitos. Staff was apologetic but it’s unacceptable to take one’s money and expect them to sleep uncomfortably. I also was unhappy with the junior suite I was assigned as it had the worst view in the entire hotel and looked nothing like what was displayed on their website. We had no balcony and no view of the city except for a small corner out of the bedroom. I booked this hotel and paid for this type of room to have that view. Sadly, I won’t be staying at a Parador again.

Visiting from Florida & Wales. Great Front Reception Desk under the super pro Javier. The restaurant and bar (Beatriz & Rodrigo) are also very good; friendly professional service. The restaurant food was a true culinary experience (get the oxtail ravioli and start with their soups and Croquetas), good selection of excellent local wines. Good parking (use taxis to go to town). The rooms are noisy though (hear people moving furniture and steps of upper floor). Also, should have more comfortable sitting (lounges) outside the bar to read a book while enjoying the spectacular view.

To be honest, I visited with a feeling of half concern and half anticipation. First of all, I had a bad sore throat and was very worried that I might be cold. But it was all a useless worry. There will be no hotel more cozy and warm than this. I was able to heal during my one day stay. The beautiful scenery and comfort... I was really impressed. I highly recommend it. Make sure to stay there once.

Oh gosh, the food there is really incredible! The breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious with beautiful views to all Toledo. The quality of products were high. The service is good as well. Only one negative point, that the floor in the bathroom was extremely cold and no flip flops from the hotel was provided, neither a bath mat, so it was freezing in the bathroom.

having stayed at many of spain's paradors i am happy to report that this is one of my favorites. i love the location, the views, the ambience, the service, the rooms and of course the food. we appreciated the distance from town which afforded us a much quieter and lovelier setting. we will definitely be back and recommend this location to all our friends. thank you from the bottom of our traveling hearts!
