Room was great! Staff was very kind as they let us check in early as the room was already ready. It is in an excellent location and we were very happy to celebrate Christmas here. Check out was equally as smooth and the staff were quick to answer any questions we had about recommendations for the city.

I have always loved staying here but this time the A/C was not on. I have stayed 2 times before (Nov 22 & May 2024) and this never happened. We asked at front desk and they said because it was cold outside the heater was on but thats no excuse, I have stayed there during cold weather before and never had problems with the A/C. Not all the guest that come to stay like the heater so if the person is paying for comfort it should be that way the guest like it.

On the positive side:
The location is very good, close to a metro station and walking distance from city centre. The cleaning was good.
On the negative side:
Our room was a little small but on the other hand we were only using it for sleeping.
The door didn’t close tightly så you could hear everything from the hallway and smell what I think was cigarette smoke (I guess somebody smoked there?).
The refrigerator didn’t work which I mentioned to the reception twice but nothing happened.
One morning we woke up thinking that the shower for some reason was automatically turned on. But instead it was somebody in the room above us that took a shower and some of the water leapt down to us. I informed the reception about the problem, I don’t know if they did something about it.
The breakfast was ok, though some of the food served clearly was from the day before (or several days before). But ok, good to make an effort to not waste food..
All in all I’m not sure the hotel was worth the money and next time in Madrid I would choose another hotel.

We stayed there from Friday 20th through Thursday the 26th. Loved this hotel, from it's staff, service, location. Really had a great stay there. We highly recommend it. Thank you all for your hospitality and frankly being our tour guides. Everytime we ventured out stopped by front desk asked for guidance and no matter who was there they were extremely helpful. Till we meet again once again thank you all. Ps we purchased the breakfast package so glad we did what a spread you all put out.

This hotel in front of the arc Puerta de Toledo, at walking distance to the Plaza Mayor. The hotel decoration is very nice with cheerful and colorful paintings, with different themes on each floor.
The rooms have flat tv, air conditioning, minibar, bathtubs, shower, amenities and WIFi.
The noise is relatively low due the acoustic windows.
The service is also good.
The coffee break is not great, but it is ok.
There is a park lot just for small vehicles.

Do not come to this place, avoid at all cost, so many friendly places around. The receptionist made is be quiet in the middle of a meeting at the coffee shop when the shop was almost full. this was on Sunday july 28th at 5:30 PM. Ruthless and unprofessional receptionist, should not work in hospitality.

Location is the main attraction for this hotel. Situated in the center of Madrid in the happening neighborhood of La Latina, with the Palacio Real close by on one stretch and the Museo Nacional/Paseo del Prado on the other stretch. Both stretches are within walking distance and easily covered in a day. Hotel rooms and bathrooms are very clean, comfortable, with lockers, small fridges, and rooms are strictly non-smoking. The lobby has quite a large, nicely decorated, cafe/restaurant/bar to grab morning coffee or an evening drink. There is also covered outdoor seating around the front entrance that is nicely enclosed from the traffic of the Puerta de Toledo roundabout. The staff was very helpful and accommodating as the lady at the reception allowed me to check-in earlier which allowed me to start my day in the city quite early. This is a no-frills and convenient hotel to relax, and feel at home, while being close to very cute neighborhoods in the center of Madrid.

I like this midrange hotel because it is comfortable, located in a nice part of the city, and provides excellent value compared to more expensive hotels.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Check in was quick and all information (wifi, breakfast times, etc) given immediately. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! At the time of this writing, free drink offered if you elect to skip a night of room cleaning. Works for me. Hotel is close to various bus routes and a metro line. I felt safe the entire time. I'd stay again and would recommend.

The hotel's biggest asset is their staff.
The breakfast crew (Sofia, Katherine and Alicia) were very accommodating. I suffer from allergies and intolerances and they couldn't have done more to help me. They were very friendly, professional and very attentive. They received constructive feedback with care and looking how to make our stay better.
Our housekeeping lady (Katy) has great eye for detail, very perceptive and very professional.
The hotel is very well located, step free, family friendly. With many facilities such as parking and local transport.
Great value for money indeed.
