Petit Palace Preciados

The first week of September we spent about a holiday week at the Petit Palace Preciados. First of all we want to thank all the staff, both those who work on the floors and the staff preparing the buffet for the excellent and hearty breakfast on the fifth floor. We especially thank Gabriel who works at the reception for his courtesy, tireless patience and made us feel at ease at all times. We also thank the other two receptionists who were always courteous and attentive to all our requests. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a balcony on Calle del Carmen. There was also a bidet in the bathroom. It has been a very quiet and comfortable double room from all points of view. The hotel is located in the center of Madrid, in a pedestrian area in the center of Madrid, two minutes from Plaza del SOL, from where you could walk to all the best attractions, museums, the Royal Palace, Gran Via, restaurants, shopping streets and even the metro stations in a few minutes. It took us only 3 minutes to reach the hotel from the Sol-Preciados metro! What a beautiful hotel! We highly recommend Petit Palace Preciados to anyone who wants to visit Madrid.

Stayed here in June 2024 for 3 nights. It is the perfect location for Madrid. Walking distance to all of the points of interest. The staff are amazingly friendly, the breakfast was fantastic and the room was clean and it was pretty cool. Nothing bad to say at all. I hope to be back one day !

Stayed here for two nights and it was lovely. By some stroke of luck we were given a balcony room and so we sat out there people watching in the evening, and there were a ton of people to watch on their way back from Plaza Sol. It was very quiet with the balcony doors shut, so we could shut out the street noise when we wanted. Attic loft was a really cool place for breakfast. Laura at front desk gave great food recommendations for "non-touristy" restaurants, despite the tourist overload between Sol and Grand Via. Saw some reviews that complained about dated/chipped/scratched furniture, but to me that fit the patina of the hotel building and location. I didn't want brand-spanking-new stainless everything: I wanted Madrid.

A great find in the heart of Madrid. Perfect location, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Rooms are on the smaller side for North American standards but on par with what you should expect in the centre of Madrid. Being close to Sol station allowed us to explore the city very easily.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to both the Metro and the train, and with lots of lively activity and restaurants around. We stayed from Saturday until Tuesday, in a nice room with a little balcony. We found that it was rather noisy on Saturday evening until the early hours of the morning but all other nights were fine.
The staff in the hotel were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We loved this place! We were able to get an early check-in and before that had our bags held so we could site-see without them and no charge. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and in a great location in Plaza del sol but down a street a bit up so it's the perfect mix between hustle & bustle but not smack in the middle of the plaza. Our room was AMAZING! We had four balconies after all I did was request a room with a balcony. It was the corner room on the top level such a cool location to experience Madrid. The hop-on/hop-off bus is a 3 minute walk from the hotel which was perfect and you're about a 7 minute walk from Plaza Mayor and all of that section. Between the tour bus and the central location we either bused or walked everywhere. Highly recommend this place!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our second visit! They have made some nice renovations and the rooms are really nicely upgraded. We had a small balcony overlooking El Corte Ingles and the church it was gorgeous. New showers were great. The restaurant on the top floor was nice but the price a bit high for a breakfast! The staff remembered us from 4 years ago which was really unexpected! We went to some of the other Petit Palace hotels to use their bathrooms and they were all nice but this one is the very best!
