Petit Palace Alcalá Mini-hotel

We are on day two of a five day stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the Plaza Mayor and other beautiful attractions. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. It also offers free perks, like complementary coffee and water, and the use of bicycles and umbrellas while exploring. Catching a taxi or finding a meal/drink/groceries is easy within a few steps from the front door. There is also a small library and visiting area in the lobby. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are somewhat small, but very functional. I love that the king bed is split in two, as my husband wiggles. It is so comfortable! The bathroom is large with a super decked-out shower. The room is very isolated from outside noise and light, however, we have experienced noise from the adjoining rooms. They offer an amazing breakfast starting at 7:30 for a fee. It’s so worth it. The staff is amazing, especially Alberto! If I’m ever back in Madrid, I’ll stay here again!

Good experience, location is amazing and the mobile Wi-Fi was very helpful. However there noise in the hallways while we were sleeping and no lock on the bathroom, but was a good value and once again the location and view was fantastic.

An absolute gem in the centre of Madrid, within walking distance to all Madrid attractions and popular branded shops. Staff is so helpful. Rooms very clean and spacious. Breakfast, which is on the 5th floor with magnificent views of Madrid, has a vast selection to suit all kinds of diets. Food is all so fresh and good. My second stay at Petit Palace Alcala and definitely not my last. It's a magnificent hotel.

After checkin we found out tht the room was not what we asked for although they changed us to another one the next day with the caracteristics we'd ask for.
The hotel a bit seedy overall.
The staff was nice and helpfull.
Breakfast was pretty good.

We needed a room for our last night in Madrid and are so happy that Petit Palace was where we stayed. The room was very clean and well appointed with every convenience. The people at the reception desk were so professional, helpful, and nice.

Great hotel in the middle of the action walking distance to restaurants, tours, nightlife, shopping and so much more. The breakfast is to die for! Five star buffet ranging from fresh squeezed elixirs, exquisite pastries, breakfast tapas and to top it off nespresso gourmet coffee! My room was spacious with a king bed 55" tv modern bathroom and breathtaking views of Madrid's center. This truly is a hidden gem.

The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and helpful. They had big smiles on their faces, greeting us each time we came up or down the stairs. They went out of their way to make sure we knew where we were going, providing us with maps or calling cabs. The hotel itself was in good shape, the room size comfortable and the bathroom was the largest one I'd seen in a European hotel!

Bang in the middle of Madrid. Modern hotel even though the room in some areas could do with some maintenance. Air-conditioning broke middle of stay. Was offered portable unit or move to another hotel. Was able to check out other hotel first and then they paid for transport. Also had some money back for slight downgrade in room, thanks. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Decent speed WiFi which is free.

Great hotel. Highly recommended. Super location - so convienient. Triple room was perfect. We all enjoyed the breakfast each morning.
