Its one of the worst experience in all travel history. Rooms have irons but no kettle , no water to drink. Bathrooms have shaving kits but it can be your last shave. Toothbrushes are so fantastic that you can comb your hair with them.
Small rooms with a desk and a chair. Cabinets are there but an equipment naming Bar is there. I wonder if anyone knows how it works.
Locker have a dial type regulator as we had in 50's for fan regulators ' pointed knob style'.
If ypu go for breakfast and you get a boiled egg, you may win lotto. Because its one in a million chances. Small tables with 3 coffee machines and small dishes with different items , which are always outnumbered by the guests.
One thing is good that's its location.
If you have selected it for a long stay, May God bless you.

The hotel's comfort and the staff's hospitality made us feel right at home. We're leaving in awe. We'd like to emphasize the excellent service from the staff and especially Mr. Fernando, the restoration expert, a true professional, but above all, the best person. The most attentive and helpful service you've ever received. This review has been approved by two girls, ages 12 and 14. Thank you again, Fernando.

We accidentally made a double booking for the same dates and we were charged twice. When we asked for a refund for one of the two bookings, they refused because it was against their policy. Thieves!

Couldn’t sleep in the room, was too loud, could hear other people flushing their toilets and people in the hallway and elevators. Cleaning ladies always went inside my room and cleaned it despite me putting the do not disturb sign on. Is that even allowed? Also didn’t get any bottled water at all in a 4 star hotel! First time in my life! And I asked for slippers, two days in a row, never got them 😂

Straight forward hotel
Good for the location
We only stayed few hours prior to our early morning train
10 minutes walk to Atocha aprox
In the vicinity of the hotel few shops and restaurants

I’ve traveled to Madrid three times, and this is my go-to hotel. It’s super close to the train station. I always book the junior suite — the room is big and comfortable, especially the bathroom. I really like the large hot tub. The staff are always friendly, and the AC works great, unlike some hotels in Malaga where the AC is a joke.

Landed in Madrid at 8 AM. After collecting my bags, I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 AM, and they kindly allowed us to check in early. The hotel's design is modern and stylish, yet maintains a clean and simple aesthetic. It's within walking distance of the train station. Due to needing an extra bed, the nightly rate was around 1000+. Retiro Park is 3 km away, and an Uber costs about 7-8 Euros.

The room was a bit dated. There aren't many dining or entertainment options nearby, and even Retiro Park is quite a walk. Its sole advantage is its proximity to the train station, allowing you to walk there comfortably with your luggage. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're just looking for an overnight transit. Overall, it offers poor value for money.

The breakfast buffet offered a somewhat limited variety of food compared to other 4-star hotels. For example, the only egg option was scrambled eggs, and some were a bit overcooked. However, the fruit selection was good, though it was surprising there were no bananas.

Upon entering the room, it took me a while to locate a power outlet; clearer instructions on their placement would be very helpful.

On the positive side, the location is quite convenient, being just an 8-10 minute walk from both the train station and the metro.

The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The three single beds we requested were prepared for us as expected. During our three-day stay, housekeeping didn't result in any missing items, but their service only included making the beds and emptying the bins. It would have been greatly appreciated if they had vacuumed the hair and dust from the floor. The bathroom and room weren't spotlessly clean; I even felt the need to wipe down some surfaces myself.

There was a slim mini-fridge in the wardrobe. While it couldn't hold much, it was handy for storing refrigerated items like cheese, milk, and ham.

The hotel's basic facilities were good. There's also a public restroom in the ground floor lobby, and its sink area was notably clean. The only minor drawback was the location. Although it appeared to be right next to Atocha train station on the map, it actually took 10-15 minutes to walk there, which felt even longer when carrying luggage and being unfamiliar with the route.

Overall, despite the location, I'd recommend booking this hotel as it offers good value for money.
