One of the best hotels of category a VIP on the Costa Brava. Located in a quiet area of Tossa de Mar with magnificent views of the Bay and the castle. The hotel features a wonderful full SPA-center. A good option for those who want to combine a comfortable rest and Wellness treatments. Bus Shuttle service could not access the hotel, so tourists taking a minibus from the nearby stop (from 07:00 to 21:00 in July and August); hence the same is arranged a return transfer.

Location: 105 km from Barcelona airport, 42 km from Girona airport, 200 m from the center of Tossa de Mar, on the first line.
Consists of one 7-storey building and detached villas.
The hotel has 166 rooms.
Beach: public, sandy (Playa Mar Menuda), 20 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). On the beach umbrellas, chairs, mattresses: free. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge. Pool towels: free of charge. The length of the beach 200 m.

We traveled to Tossa on a limb from August 15-18 and absolutely fell in love thanks to the staff and service at Gran Reymar. The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach and includes a great poolside area. We chose to dine in for some breakfast, lunch, and dinners and enjoyed the menu every time. Although it is a fixed menu, there are still plenty of options for each course. My boyfriend is not a fish eater and still had many options. By our second day, the bar tenders already remembered our drink orders and the cleaning staff was so friendly. Not to mention we were surprised with a no charge room upgrade upon check in as well as complementary flip flops! Only complaint is that we can’t stay at the hotel year round. Hope to be back in the spring :)

Fabulous hotel in a really beautiful spot right by the beach. Very clean room, extremely friendly staff, relaxed rules and peaceful environment.
Short walk to town with a lot of shops and restaurants and local activities such as hikes, snorkelling, boating etc

Just returned from an 11 night stay.
I cannot praise this place enough. The hotel is immaculate they clearly take pride in keeping everywhere spotless.
The staff are warm and welcoming couldn't do enough to help and were incredibly kind and friendly to our little boy. (An extra thank you to Maria)
We stayed half board and could pick from the lunch or dinner menu on the day. Both are 4 course options, and the food was exemplary with a wide variety enough to please anyone.
We stayed on the 7th floor (712) with a sea view which was amazing. The balcony sliding windows open almost the whole side of the room to give the best panoramic view of the beach and hillside.
We went to the beach directly outside the hotel which was clean and easy enough to get a sunbed and umbrella everyday. It does however get noticeably busier at the weekends. Only a short walk into the centre of town & a 35-minute taxi journey from the airport in Girona.
I am already looking forward to returning to Tossa de Mar and will 100% be staying here again.

Our family have visited over decades-we love this place! It's a traditional and calm hotel set at the quieter end of Tossa de Mar - but very walkable into the town. The beach opposite the hotel is a nice sheltered cove with beach cafe, snorkeling/kayaking/SUP options. The hotel clearly takes great pride in maintaining and cleaning facilities/bedrooms, the pool area is great and we've never had trouble getting a spot. There are lots of fabulous views of the sea/castle/hills. The lunch & dinner is a 4 course menu of local high quality produce, with excellent service and options to sit outside or inside. And finally the staff are a credit to the hotel, all welcoming smiling and will adapt to the language of the guests. We look forward to our next trip ASAP.

Amazing hotel! Absolutely fantastic!
We went during the last week of May and we had a lovely stay.
The staff were lovely! Very helpful and in general seemed to always have a smile on their face! The hotel itself, the bedrooms and pool area were extremely clean and tidy.
The weather was great, there was plenty of space around the pool.
The view from the pool area and from the bedroom was absolutely fantastic, overlooking the beach.
Breakfast was absolute luxury! There’s a lovely outdoor terrace area, where you can enjoy your breakfast overlooking the sea.
The hotel also offers spa treatments too, however we didn’t get around to trying them out.
The main town is about a 10minute stroll from the hotel, with plenty of shops and restaurants.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Grand Hotel Reymar is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. What gives it the edge is the staff. They are so friendly, efficient, and helpful.
Food:
We booked full board as I had a bad chiropractic injury and was unsure if I would be able to w as lm far. we do not regret going full board.
Buffet breakfast with everything you may want. 4 course lunch and dinner which is a waited service (all drinks are extra and not included but reasonably priced). The restaurant waiting staff require an extra mention - as they are wonderful - top class.
Hotel position: I think this hotel must have one of the best views in the resort. It is situated on on a very pretty beach, and it it has views also to the main resort beach and castle. It has a steep drive which is approximately 20 metres long, and it’s an easy walk thereafter into the resort centre. It is possible to walk to the castle and meander back in 3-4K steps.
Room: we booked a sea view and asked for a room close to a lift as I am unable to walk far. The rooms are cleaned and towels changed daily.
The hotel is very clean, tidy, and peaceful. It has a vibe of a bygone era and it’s a beautiful place to stay. Always plenty of sun beds.

Stunning views and town. Dropped off at bus station no shuttle and had to get a translator to ring hotel to arrange. Driver appeared put out at having to come and no help with baggage. Hotel has lack of charisma, staff at reception scary and unhelpful. Bar prices too high e.g Torres 10 brandy 6eu for about 30 ml when a 1 litre bottle is 20 in supermarket. No background music and a ‘sad’feel from waiting staff. Wouldn’t do the evening meals at advertised price of 29 eu, gets away with it due to location but soulless.

Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and the morning sunrise.
Our room was quiet.
OK breakfast, but we didn't like the coffee
Didn't go to the pool, but it looked good.
Underground parking lot, as we were warned that it would be difficult to get in, so we had the administrator park the car and bring it.
There is a good beach in front of the hotel. There are small stones at the water's edge and special shoes are useful.
The hotel is located on the far side of the beach, away from the hustle and bustle, but it's all just a 5-minute walk away.
The floor of the room was sandy.
Our room was quiet.

The view from the hotel is fantastic! But it’s a shame that the service was so upsetting and many details don’t match the quality of a 4 star S hotel.
The reception was cold and even unfriendly. They directly refused to check-in before the schedule time without checking if the room was available already or not. They warned us to check-out before 12pm because they would shut down on time. They didn’t provide pool towel so we had to either buy one for 10 euro or use the bath one in the room. The pool bar was very basic and the wine tasted bad; they allow to take the drink to the terrace but with plastic cup only. The room was basic too, no indoor slippers (only very hard plastic flip-flops), no hair conditioner and body lotion, and the toothpaste is in a ketchup-like bag which is gross. The shower was quite comfortable though.
The breakfast buffet is one of the poorest I’ve even seen. The juice is not real juice but diluted artificial product. The croissants were underbaked, and the cheese and ham tasted like low quality.
When we check-out, we asked to leave the luggage there for a few more hours but the counter directly said that we could only leave there until 13h. I’ve never encountered this situation with any hotels. It didn’t provide the basic service and materials even a hotel less than 4 stars S would provide. And we tried to call for five times but they didn’t answer the phone.

Nice seaside hotel. Great pool and restaurant and bar/ lobby with lots of outdoor seating. Could not find a towel outside for the pool. Only had two in the room, one ach, which we needed for our shower but no complaints at all. Just would be nice to have extras. Valet in and out parking. We had a Tesla rental and closest charger was 33km away at Hotel Carmel. Fun windy roads in the cliff hills to get there but not convenient if you're in a hurry. Well worth the day off the beaten path and nice quiet town, friendly but not overrun with tourists. Great access to two local beaches on beautiful water and a wonderful castle to explore 🏰.
