Reviews
What made the experience even more special was the incredible service, particularly from Mercé, a wonderful waitress. Her warmth, attentiveness, and friendly nature added a personal touch to our stay. Mercé went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel right at home.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a combination of great location, fantastic food, stunning design, and outstanding service. A truly unforgettable experience!"
The Wi-Fi connection is terrible; it only works well at the reception and in the restaurant, while in the rooms and by the pool, it is unstable. We traveled to work remotely, and unfortunately, the poor internet connection disrupted our work calls.
We couldn’t visit the spa as it’s quite small and was fully booked. The hotel grounds are well-maintained but small. We didn’t like the artificial grass and the fake flowers in the room – for a 5-star hotel, this is unacceptable.
Furniture, 250 euro a night feels like a total rip off. Now the Spa was full all day and next day till 2pm I guess you have to book in advance. The pool bar does not have anyone so you have to go to reception to ask for drinks again 5 stars? I fail to understand how this hotel gets such category. I am yet to try the restautant in evening, so far not impressed. Dont recommend
When you drive up it looks fantastic and the restaurant and outside pool area are beautiful with a stunning view.
The rooms however are very anticlimactic. Cheap IKEA furniture, damaged walls, old smashed flies sticking to the walls, a TV that is hanging on by a thread. The rooms are very basic and far from what you would expect when you book a 5star hotel. Like others mentioned in the comments, we do not understand how this hotel even received a 5 star rating.
We also went to the spa. You book it and you are there alone so I don’t want to know how many couples bathe in there alone a day… we also switched off the bubbles for a bit and were shocked at how filthy the water was. There is literally a film of grime swimming at the top. We immediately got out.
We also had an incident with a very rude staff member and when we mentioned it to the front desk there was no apology offered but we were basically told to excuse that staff member because she was dumb and short. What a way to talk about a colleague.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and we would definitely come back to enjoy a lunch and the views. I don’t understand how this place has such high ratings though, I think it’s definitely overpriced for what it really offers. I would avoid sleeping there and definitely the inside pool!
When I called the hotel to find out why they had modified / cancelled our reservation, they barely even seemed to recognise the inconvenience and gave a half-hearted apology when pressed, but nothing further. They just didn't even seem to care about ruining our holiday. Avoid
Very unprofessional staff, young with little experience in the sector.
In our room there was no hair dryer, wifi and we could hear the washing machine through the AC at 00:30!
On a positive note, beautiful location, amazing pool and great food.
Overall, I would not give it more than 3 stars.
The hotel is visibly understaffed and the majority of them are young people who certainly don't have a clue how to give a 5 star service.
The only pros are the pool and restaurant ( the food was delicious and thank you to the chef who was preparing some extra menu vegetarian dish)
Definitely avoid the spa. Overpriced for a a small pool with hydromassage and a "weak" steam room.
Certainly we'll never repeat.
