Hotel Benetusser in Valencia

I went with my family and 3 kids, they give us a big room.
The beds and the pillow s very comfortable.

The place is quiet.

Well-maintained old budget hotel in the suburbs of Valencia.

Hotel is good but the decoration for the breakfast area is really bad. Especially if you have kids. Why are there XXL pictures of naked people? Looks satanic.

LOCATION :
- located on the corner of 2 streets (Avinguda de Paiporta & Calle del Dr. Ramon y Cajal)

- 12 km away by car from the Valencia airport

MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION :
--> nearest train station "Alfafar - Benetússer" is at 800m (10min walk); cost 1.5eur, one-way/person, to reach Valencia Station North

--> nearest bus station "Camí Nou, 22 (Benetússer]"/"Camí Nou, 27 (Mobles Iglesias) [Benetússer]" is 450m (6min walk)

--> buy the Valencia Card for 6eur from train station (1.5eur x 4ways; 1 card can be used by multiple people) to have access to train RENFE + MetroBus + bus EMT + Metro Valencia

SURROUNDINGS:
- supermarket : Supermercados Charter is 180m, 3min walk (charges an extra fee, 0.15eur/drink, for cold drinks inside the fridge)
- local neighborhood bar/restaurants : Cafeteria Bar D'Gula, RAICES Bar & Heladeria

HOTEL :
- hotel building has a total of 5 floors
- 2 elevators to reach till the 4th floor (for the 5th floor there are stairs)
--> rooms with inner courtyard view&street view
--> rooms with small open terrace towards the street

- on the ground floor is located : the reception (ask for city map, tourist brochures, overpriced airport shuttle etc.), bar, restaurant, area for breakfast, small lounge, inside&outside seating

- FREE PARKING, marked in white stripes, in front of the hotel and around the streets nearby ( streets are in a good condition, clear markings and signs, overall clean and well maintained)
*hotel offers underground parking for 8eur/day - car elevator type of parking

ROOM :
- upon request, in advance, early check-in and late check-out is possible
- 1 key card per room
- complimentary: liquid hand-soap , shower gel, comb, small sponge, bath cap, toilette paper, full set of towels
- TV, A/C, safe, 1 desk with 1 chair, 1 armchair, 1 closet

*no water kettle, no coffee machine
*no minibar&no complimentary water bottle
*windows without insect protection (room with 1 sliding window, bathroom with 1 small window)
*missing furniture in the bathroom

BREAKFAST
(Tuesday-Friday : 7.30-10.30)
(Saturday-Monday 8.00-10.30)
- fresh fruits ; no vegetables at all (not vegetarian friendly)
- fresh&delicious coffee made by the breakfast team
- cold drinks : water, orange and pineapple juice
- cold cuts (salami, cheese etc.), yogurt, butter, scrambled eggs, pie with egg and potatoes
- different types of bread : toast slices (the locals drizzle it with olive oil, add tomato thick juice+ sprinkle pepper flakes), ciabatta, croissants
- desserts : cakes filled with chocolate, pies with fruits slices, muffins etc.

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel truly welcome. The breakfast was excellently catered, with a wide selection of delicious options to start the day.

The room was comfortable and cleaned every day, just as I wished. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with its proximity to Valencia city and within walking distance of the train station, making exploring the area very convenient.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Valencia. I look forward to staying here again in the future!
