The Hotel Montiboli was lovely. The views spectacular. Carlos at the front desk was extremely helpful & professional (he's a great employee!). The food was under whelming both at lunch & dinner. For a 5 star property, the food should be inventive, properly seasoned (everything that we tasted lacked flavor from fish to meat to salads to starters). Not having Albarino by the glass is unacceptable...

Visited with my mum in April it's was beautiful. The hotel was great situated right opposite the beach, short walk along the revetment and to town and to the chocolate factory, staff great especially Philip really helpful and so friendly. This hotel is literally 'on the beach' and all its rooms get those great views. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, you have plenty of options for food and drink. Excellent hotel in a beautiful location right on the beach. Our room was perfectly clean and will maintained. The only complaint would be the lack of plug sockets. No one travels without devices to be recharged and there was only one plug on the desk to share. Stay on reception very friendly. We only had breakfast so can’t really comment on the restaurant. You've got a Rooftop Jacuzzi, it's in the center of Villajoyosa and near the beach. Solarium was closed and breakfast not used by me. Pretty cool hotel, nice for a trip. Pros...great food variety, lovely view from our apartment. Friendly staff and all inclusive food and drinks. 10 mins walk from main beach. Great little alcove areas to chill out with a drink or 4 :-) . Cons....some food can be a little cold after a while, kids near our block pressing the lift buttons sometimes taking an age to get a lift. Can be a bit confusing where smoking areas are during the evening...

Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. Spotless. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Muy bien!

We spent a fabulous week at the Alone in October 2024, and I agree with previous comments that English is not the first language of the staff, and the signage is primarily in Spanish. The hotel is ok,the food is basic the only decent food here is the breakfast, there's no entertainment for children here we stayed for a week and every night it was flamenco or ball room dancing for the elderly people which seemed to be most of the guests here, the area around the hotel is OK with a few shops but not many stay open later than 6.i wouldn't recommend to families

We have stayed at this hotel twice and just booked again for may 2026 Our granddaughter came with us both times and she loved everything at the hotel . We loved this simple hotel very close to the beach and in a quite part of Benidorm. We visited it in June. Parking outside on the street was free and in the evening we could always find parking.

El Palmeral is a great little hotel. It is spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool and modern furniture. There is a cafe with food options and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is in a nice area closer to the old town, which suited us. Would definitely recommend it!

Had a nice long weekend stay here 14/2 - 17/2/25. Room was nice (wish I'd got a room on a higher floor for the views!). The hotel was busy with older guests, so not noisy. I spent most of my time out and about, anyway! Special shout out to Minh on reception for helping me out with my airport transfer issue. The bus transfer advice was very helpful... you're a star!

Overnight stay. Lovely hotel in the quieter area of Benidorm but right opposite the beach with an uninterrupted view of the beach from all rooms. Lovely to wake up with the sun on your balcony. Costa Blanca is an amazing resort — modern, clean, and very friendly. The hotel has been recently refurbished and feels fresh and stylish. The villas are fully furnished with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Hotel itself is good, location is far out of you want to go into Benidorm (around 12-15 euro each way). Buffet for an evening meals is 34 euro for an adult or 15 euro for a child (we did not go for this). The coffee shop has pizza for about 12 euro. We’ve got mixed feelings about Villa del Mar. Our room was a big let-down — definitely not 4-star standard. The TV barely worked, the shower door was broken, and there was damage around the door frame. We reported it to reception, but nothing was fixed during our stay, which was disappointing. Overall our experience was good. The view of the sea, cleanliness and the staff were fantastic. Food was good, especially the breakfasts, however, other meals were average and repetitive. Speaking with other guests we all agreed the hotel was noisy. Roadworks couldn’t be helped, but the other noises from constant delivery drivers 24/7 took away from the experience. This is a lovely hotel located just south of the Old Town and right on the seafront with access to the beach and promenade. A bright clean hotel. My bedroom/bathroom was large clean and comfy. There is a great rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

I was surprised by the negativity of some of the reviews I read. There must have been forty items on the breakfast menu so I'd say there was something for everyone, even my wife who's a vegetarian. Really great location, in the middle of everything and in between new and old town. Hotel is stunning but please note it's not too child friendly we took a 1.5 year old with us. However some of the staff were lovely towards her it's just that the pool and hotel in general/ food is very much catered towards adults. Really nice rooms and balcony's, food was fantastic and sooo much to offer every night...

Staff are extremely friendly especially one waiter named Jonathan. Food so far is nice too. No sea views or any view at all but it's a 2 minute walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of shops.

Near the beach food was good lots of Spanish stay there I'm a lone traveller and felt welcome didn't go to Spain to stay at an all English hotel this was perfect

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Room was spacious and clean. Only criticism the pillows were not comfy. Oh and the evening meal starting at 8pm till 10pm was a bit on the late side. Cocktail bar was great. I was bit sad to have left my little pouch of jewellery with an expensive ring in the bedroom. We will definitely return to The Montemar.

A very well situated hotel right on the sea front of Old Benidorm. It is supposed to be pedestrianised outside, but there is a lot of delivery and taxi traffic that can sneak up on you! Immaculately clean, friendly staff, great location next to loads of restaurants, bars, shops, market stalls and the beach. Sea view room had an amazing view from the balcony and the 6th floor bar is a must with incredible views. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Only negative was the maid coming in the room 3 times despite do not disturb being on and a noisy AC unit but we didn't need that much...

No pool which was fine ,the place is very old fashioned but clean and tidy, we were two people sharing had a bedroom each , plenty of beds and space. Kitchen and bathroom looked brand new .150euro deposit per room , which was a bit of a surprise .but got it back now problem

A good thing about it was a free safe and fridge room not too bad location is the best reason to stay Europe only two faults I could find there air conditioning was too far away from the bed in my opinion in a stupid place also when you put your card in to the light a outside light shows if you are in all out in my opinion a very bad idea

Great location near the beach and old town. The staff are polite and helpful with all questions. The downsides are problems with hot water in the shower and no kettle or tea in the room.

Great little hotel right on the beach front next to shopping street. Great views from the balcony overlooking the sea and palm trees. Was a great place to stay and good value. Had breakfast at cafes nearby as I prefer that than in the dining room indoors (doesn’t have outdoor seating) especially as it’s all so close or just sitting with my own food on the lovely sunny balcony.

Very comfortable hotel! Abundant and varied breakfast. On site there is a bar where you can have an aperitif. Super!
