The Hotel Montiboli was lovely. The views spectacular. Carlos at the front desk was extremely helpful & professional (he's a great employee!). The food was under whelming both at lunch & dinner. For a 5 star property, the food should be inventive, properly seasoned (everything that we tasted lacked flavor from fish to meat to salads to starters). Visited with my mum in April it's was beautiful. The hotel was great situated right opposite the beach, short walk along the revetment and to town and to the chocolate factory, staff great especially Philip really helpful and so friendly. This hotel is literally 'on the beach' and all its rooms get those great views. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, you have plenty of options for food and drink. Excellent hotel in a beautiful location right on the beach. Our room was perfectly clean and will maintained. The only complaint would be the lack of plug sockets. No one travels without devices to be recharged and there was only one plug on the desk to share. Stay on reception very friendly. We only had breakfast so can’t really comment on the restaurant. You've got a Rooftop Jacuzzi, it's in the center of Villajoyosa and near the beach. Solarium was closed and breakfast not used by me. Pretty cool hotel, nice for a trip. Our Superhostess Isobel was amazing , from reservations to concierge services, could not have been more friendly,helpful or accomodating. Pros...great food variety, lovely view from our apartment. Friendly staff and all inclusive food and drinks. 10 mins walk from main beach. Great little alcove areas to chill out with a drink or 4 :-) . Cons....some food can be a little cold after a while, kids near our block pressing the lift buttons sometimes taking an age to get a lift. Can be a bit confusing where smoking areas are during the evening...

Had 4 nights away with the girls and we all said this hotel is far better than we expected. The photos do not do it justice. The rooms and corridors must of recently been done up and are very modern and spotlessly clean. The pool area and restaurant also much nicer than expected with a very nice shaded chill out area that looks new. All staff are lovely and perfect location, just few minutes to lovely...

Would have given it 5 out of 5 but we weren't allowed in the pool as it was out of season.... it's an all round Spanish orientated hotel...staff speak miminal English but all have been extremely lovely and friendly...the rooms are so clean.. beds comfy..clean towels on a daily which is nice....the food is good it is Spanish based again but we never went hungry and we were a party of 6 with 5 fussy...

El Palmeral is a great little hotel. It is spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool and modern furniture. There is a cafe with food options and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is in a nice area closer to the old town, which suited us. Would definitely recommend it!

All the staff are always helpful and very friendly. The swimming pool is sufficient with a very nice bar. The rooms are medium in size with a good air conditioning. Had a nice long weekend stay here 14/2 - 17/2/25. Room was nice (wish I'd got a room on a higher floor for the views!). The hotel was busy with older guests, so not noisy. Overall our experience was good. The view of the sea, cleanliness and the staff were fantastic. Food was good, especially the breakfasts, however, other meals were average and repetitive. Speaking with other guests we all agreed the hotel was noisy. Roadworks couldn’t be helped, but the other noises from constant delivery drivers 24/7 took away from the experience. This is a lovely hotel located just south of the Old Town and right on the seafront with access to the beach and promenade. A bright clean hotel. My bedroom/bathroom was large clean and comfy. There is a great rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

I was surprised by the negativity of some of the reviews I read. There must have been forty items on the breakfast menu so I'd say there was something for everyone, even my wife who's a vegetarian. The hotel it self is without a doubt a perfect position. The Receptionist seemed harassed and took our cases into the back room as our rooms were not available to check in until 4pm. As first-time visitors to Benidorm, this was the perfect choice for our mini break. The location was ideal—just outside the hustle and bustle of the main resort, yet within easy walking distance of everything Benidorm has to offer. It struck a great balance between convenience and a more relaxed atmosphere.

Having stayed at the Cabana several times now, I can find little fault. The location is good. The rooms would benefit from updating but are large with ample storage. The balconies are of a very generous size and private. They would however, benefit from improved furniture. There is a very high standard of cleanliness throughout. Staff friendly only let down was no fridge in the room and warm water on a hot day is not great and food wasn't for us cater for the Spanish. The hotel room was clean and tidy, a great position close to beach and restaurants not far from old town as well. We were there when the power cut happened. I cannot praise the staff enough for the way we were treated not only that day but everyday we were there. 100% would recommend and return again. Mike & Sue Miles.

This place is great, took us in without notice when we had a problem with another accomodation, staff is kind and helpful, located in a very nice area with all kind of services around, room are spacious and sparkling clean with great A/C and the buffet breakfast is delicious and varied !!

arrived after a tiresome journey the owner came out to take our cases in,checkin was swift room with a balcony at front of hotel daughter in next room great the room was great beds wow and soft, all the staff wwere great food a ok bottle of wine on the table at meal times although the hotel was 90% full no waiting for a table staff were on the ball would I use this hotel again YES.

We stayed three nights. It's a a very reasonable hotel for the price you pay. Their staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is superb. Clean, tidy, excellent staff, beautiful pool area and excellent restaurant and bar. Will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends. In walking distance to all shops, restaurants, beach etc.

It took forever to check in- 3 females behind the desk with 1 computer. In the evening the restaurant is quiet but they have 3/4 members of staff walking around chatting whilst they have 1 barman trying to serve multiple people. Really great location, in the middle of everything and in between new and old town. Hotel is stunning but please note it's not too child friendly we took a 1.5 year old with us. However some of the staff were lovely towards her it's just that the pool and hotel in general/ food is very much catered towards adults.
