Positive: - Swimming pool - Location - Kids area (playground) - Mini club - Animacion - Breakfast. & dinner buffet - Hygiene/clean of the room and hotel - Service Negative: - The rooms are noisy. the walls are thin. i advise the hotel to take doors with soft close. If the rooms had soft close doors we would come back.

The staff are amazing and really helpful, the location is great for the old town and the new town. The facilities are of a very high standard, with great views from the rooms, very child friendly with lots to do for the children and a children's nursery for up to 11s in the evening. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay again 5⭐s from me

This is a perfect hotel 10/10 super clean great food and choice staff excellent. Highly recommend beaches are super clean. The old town is great for a traditional Spanish holiday. Or the strip for much more lively holiday. You must go don't be put off by past ratings of benidorm it's beautiful.

Just spent a week here and loved it. We were silver level all inclusive and the quality of the drinks and food was excellent. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the hotel was always clean and tidy. We'd definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Bars and shops are next door and the beach is just a five minute walk away. I love the decor of this hotel - the mood lighting is very relaxing. Had a great time the hotel was lovely and clean. Had a huge choice of good food . The room was nice and clean. Our beds were made every day had fresh towels. Being English customer service is everything to me. Unfortunately this hotel has too many bad employees working here for it to be enjoyable for someone so focused on customer service. However, the food and rooms were good so if customer service isn't a focus then you will enjoy it here

I came with a group of 24. Hotel was great, although some rooms a bit on small side. Food was really good choice and for us it was great to have wine with our evening meal. Just stayed a week bed an breakfast on a golfing holiday. Nice hotel mainly based at older Spanish guests. Youngsters may find it one to avoid, having said that it is handily placed for the strip and dozens of good restaurants.

The hotel is in good location close to The Strip. It’s also a short walk of several minutes to go to the beach. There are restaurants and bars near the hotel. The rooms are average but clean. Friendly, helpful staff. My only gripe is the food. I only had breakfast, and there was plenty of choice, but the bacon, sausages, beans etc were cold, not even lukewarm. Other than that the location is excellent. The pool looks nice, although I didn't venture into it. Rooms are clean & adequate.

Had a lovely 2 weeks in Rio Park in November 2021. Food was good with plenty of choices for each meal and the deserts were marvellous. The COVID precautions were excellent and the staff very friendly. The cleaning staff were good in particular the girl who did our room. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The lock in my room broke just 2days before departure, I was moved to an upgraded room which I did not appreciate but I did not want to keep packing/unpacking for 2 days.The views in a previous room were better. Stunning hotel and great location! You wouldn't know you were anywhere near Benidorm! We did have to change rooms, but that was only because we didn't have much of a view in our first room- the views are Stunning! Reception was brilliant and gave us a choice of rooms and allowed us to view them first before we made a decision! Highly recommended!

Surprisingly calm oasis just outside Benidorm, very easy for the airport and the town centre. 2 golf courses both worth playing, the shorter course is more mature and more scenic

We recently stayed here in a penthouse suite, The room was amazing with an extra large calfornia king bed, freestanding bath near the large fully opening sliding glass doors with incredible views please see photos. Just stayed for 4 weeks and was very happy with hotel. Staff work really hard to keep all areas clean and tidy. Updated bedroom was lovely, especially the walk-in shower. Yeah it's a great place, perfectly located for all the attractions and entertainment. The food is very good and there is a good variety of dishes to choose from. Breakfast is served from 8am till 10pm which is a bit early for me (11am would have been better). The jet2 rep lita was also very good.

This hotel is ideally situated for the surrounding entertainment in the evening and for the beach during the day. The food is of an acceptable standard and the rooms are quite comfortable albeit a little basic. The swimming pool is very nice and there is enough sunbeds for the guests, if a little crowded. All in all, a friendly hotel and would recommend for a short stay perhaps.

Friendly staff, always helpful in seating us in the restaurant. Very efficient in the reception with checking in & out. Requested rooms close to our parents as we were travelling together. Our stay was perfect for what we wanted. Food and drink all day long, amazing polite and hard working staff. Amazing night sleep due to memory foam mattresses. Only downside was air con was noisy and not gassed and due to us getting stuck in the elevator our son made us do the stairs after that all 18 floors!

Great hotel with fabulous staff and a wondeful place to take the family! My one and only issue was the sunbed situation. People would be allowed to leave towels on sunbeds all day without actually using the sunbeds when signs clearly state you can only leave towels on for an hour. But other than that, its a fantastic place!

We booked whilst it was going through a refurb! Reviews were very poor.. we were honestly wondering what the hell we had done!! On arriving at the hotel, it was amazing from start to finish. Clean modern and comfortable hotel with good service. While not on the sea front it was only a block away. The clubs and nightlife were 1 street away which made it a little quieter at night. Everything was in easy reach. I really liked Don Pancho.

Absolutely brilliant time! Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday. The only reason i put 4 stars on the room is because the toilet is to close to the sink cabinet so you can't sit straight. The toilet seat was loose because of this and it broke whilst we were here. My room was amazing, being on the curve of the hotel it was very spacious with a big double bed which was extremely comfortable including the pillows. There was a large tv and a fridge which was a Godsend and held more than you would think. The bathroom...

Just had 10 days here, and judging on price not stars, it is kept spotlessly clean on a regular day to day basis, no balcony but one knows by the visuals of hotel, aircon worked, room cleaned daily, v/ clean beds & towels, shower room real nice and clean, hot water perfect any time !. breakfast, varied choice excellent staff, as were all staff.. pool was nice area, all day sun, not keen on music drum...

Decent functional hotel, good buffet breakfast. Good swimming pool (pity about the poolside music though). On the outer edge of town, so a 25 minutes walk to the beach, or use a cheap taxi. Overall, perfectly fine for our two night stay.

I booked throught Booking and the cancelation was not available. After contacting the Hotel, they allowed me to be 100% refund ( i had some medical issues). The process was fast and friendly, i really appreciate it!

Went first week December. I was a bit concerned as my wife has coeliac disease and previous guests suggested gluten free food was non existent. Nothing could be further from the truth Chef and catering staff were excellent in supplying fantastic meals. Animation Team were very good. The weather was absolutely fabulous (for December) (I just called 📞 to say I love you) THANK YOU!

Nice hotel in a good location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Food was nice, standard buffet type deal but everything fresh and hot. Entertainment is very good, especially for children. Charlie is in charge of entertainment and was top notch!

I don’t know what makes this place a 4 star. We’ve stopped in many 4 star hotels in the past, and this doesn’t match anything like them. I would and as above given it a 3. The rooms are no way near a 4 * grade The toilets in the bar area was really bad, and I’m told the ladies wasn’t any better. I approached the staff at the time, but nothing was done. I would like to add. We did have a great time...

This hotel is no better than ok. Our superior room was large and clean but the sofa bed was unusable as a sofa as the cushions didn't fit and you ended up sitting on the bed beneath. The spa is good but its €10 a day if you not all inclusive. The food looked like its description but in most cases had little flavour. We we're half board and had to pay extra for a glass of water with the evening meal...

We had a fantastic time Christmas and new year, our room 1006 was clean, large and what we expected. The beds gave a very good night's sleep. Lifts worked well and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The dining room was great, good choice of food at all times and was always clean, the staff were friendly and worked very hard. We stayed on a all incucive basis, the bar staff were friendly and efficient...

Lovely hotel, rooms were large and clean, beds were comfortable with nice pillows and bedding, terrace was large, lovely bathroom with hot walk in shower, beautiful pool area spotlessly clean, nice children's play area and shallow pool, inside heated pool, food was well cooked and good quality, staff were all pleasant.

This hotel is on the outskirts of the town, a 20min walk in. The hotel is a nice place to be. The surroundings are very well planted and green. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel offers a wide range of facilities to use, the main one being the pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be coming here again.

We have literally just checked out (myself, my wife and my 5 year old daughter) and are already gutted! We have had the most amazing 8 days. I’d firstly like to thank the amazing catering staff, every day, we have had the most delicious food, with so many options available. My wife’s favourite meal was a freshly cooked steak with a beautiful salsa Verde along side a great selection of gorgeous salad...

We have just stayed here for a week and it was such an amazing stay! Food was great, I'm not quite sure what the other reviews about food were on about, there was always something we could eat. Room was nice and spacious with a balcony, pull out sofa bed for the kids wasn't the comfiest. Hotel was very clean, only thing I didn't like is the shower towels being put in the bidet, not very hygienic....

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Good choice for breakfast. Excellent location for Benidorm palace.

We really enjoyed! We will definitely be back! Our goal was for our 3 and 1 year old to have fun and we certainly achieved that and so did we. Very good facilities and unbeatable staff. The only thing that will change is the opening hours of the playground as being near the pool they also close it at 8. If there was a separation the kids might be able to enjoy the slides a little later. Otherwise everything...

Ok if you are not on floor 1. Prison style balcony doors to stop your room being robbed. Faced a wall and was woken up by cleaning staff squealing and laughing at silly times of the morning outside..... ask for pool side. Food Fantastic, entertainment very good, restaurant/bar/reception staff excellent

Always a good experience at the Diplomatic. Reception helped us solve a problem. Bar & restaurant staff always happy & helpful. Mattress is a little too hard for me.

Fantastic hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. Very Spanish feel which is unusual for Benidorm. Have stayed in a few hotels in Benidorm before but none are as good as the Diplomatic.

Super incredible hotel with super comfortable beds and a perfecy view of the sea. The drinks were the most exceptionell of all!

Lovely clean compact single room, very helpful staff and lovely food. Very quiet at the pool and in the evenings. Very small balcony and not a good view but to be fair I didn’t book a room with a good view. Very friendly area

We would have preferred little bottles of Shampoo and Shower gel and fresh soap rather than used bottles of cheap hand wash and shampoo and shower gel in 1, alts when you ask for maintenance they should be straight on the job which the problem with the toilet was not fixed. Also the room radiator was far too hot! We would like to be specially notified by email of your future opening dates and offers...
