We stayed at this hotel for a week never again we won't be going back food was horrendous my partner got flea bites off the bed some staff were friendly some wasn't as friendly when I asked for a particular drink I got told no it's not for English people all I can say that the Spanish guests were looked after better than English people entertainment was not good

Stayed here for a week in May 2025. I think I was the only English person staying which suited me just fine. I stayed b&b - there was always plenty to choose from and it was good quality. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. Spotless. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Muy bien!

Lovely quiet hotel. Nice modern room and bathroom. Double room comprises of two double beds pushed together, comfortable mattress and pillows. Very clean hotel, room cleaned daily and towels changed. The food was excellent with a good selection. Pool area was quiet, only used by a few people, so finding a sunbed is not an issue. Larger pool with slides etc in sister hotel was used by families. All staff were friendly, helpful and not speaking Spanish did not cause me any problems, staff were able to understand me. I did see a few smiles when I tried asking for something in spanish, goodness knows what I was saying. Bus to benidorm stops outside sister hotel, to go to benidorm stand at the stop opposite the bus shelter. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely holiday experience and I hope to be back in the future.

I'll start by saying that Benidorm is gorgeous, very tall buildings, the beach is gorgeous. We visited Terra Natura and Aqualandia, I recommend them both, it was wonderful, the children's joy and ours. The hotel is a 3-star hotel, very friendly staff. Clean rooms, we with 2 children were accommodated in a room with a bunk bed, plasma TV, large balcony, cleaning is done daily, large bathroom with bathtub. The hotel has a swimming pool, but you can also use the pool at Hotel Alone, which is right across the street, which also has a slide for children, a small pool for children and adults, enough sunbeds. The full board meal includes 3 Swedish buffet meals. Breakfast includes eggs, sausages, cereals, coffee, juice, water, fruit, ice cream, salads. Breakfast and dinner: creamy soups, fried potatoes, traditional dishes, fruits, ice cream, desserts. I mention that drinks of any kind are not included at the table except at breakfast, otherwise you can buy them from the bar, a water for 0.50 is 1.20 euros, wine, juices, if you buy a bottle of wine and not you eat it at one meal, it goes back to the bar where it is kept cold and you can ask for it at the next meal. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away Every day at the pool there is animation, gymnastics, water polo, football (the hotel also has a football field) Evening disco for children, dance lessons, magic shows, clowns. We liked it very much and I recommend this hotel, it is a good value-for-money hotel

An amazing gem of a hotel, rooms spacious, beds comfortable and showers powerful. We were half board, the food was varied, fresh and tasty. The transfer bus will drop you off outside Hotel Alone, which is the sister hotel to the Tropic, you walk through reception of the Alone, down to the basement, out by the pool and the Tropic is to your right. No more than 3 minute walk! The bay of La Cala is 15 min walk away, which hosts a market on a Tuesday and Saturday. Buses to Benidorm (number 2 & 3) leave outside the Hotel Alone for €1.60. It is mainly Spanish residents and the entertainment is all in Spanish, but that added to its charm. Can’t wait to return!

Spent 5 days with a friend. Rooms very clean and WiFi perfect. Cleaned daily if required. Food very varied and plenty of choice. Wine available with evening meal. Enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.

If you are British do not stay here. You are not welcome not included in Any entertainment or tannoy announcement no staff understand a word of English. The food is horrific dinner dosent start till 8pm and have queued until 10pm for what can only be described as slop unidentifiable meat and fish for a hotel it's size dinner consists of 4 hot trays and clearly cannot cope with residents and 100% not worth it. 30 minutes by bus to get anywhere near town there is a beach about 25 minutes walk but just a beach no cafe or bar the hotel has the smallest pool I've ever seen in a hotel and had to use pool in opposite hotel. BE AWARE TRANSFER COACHES Do NOT STOP AT THIS HOTEL your dropped a 10/15 mins walk away up hill

My wife and I have just been at Hotel Tropic Relax for 2 weeks this September 2023 and it was great . The staff was excellent Angela, Christena, Deago, and Mara were outstanding. They all help to make our stay as friendly and comfortable as could be. The food was great and the chefs made sure they had a good variety of different dishes each night. There was Entertainment each night with different shows. The sound of the waterfall was a plus and the peace and quiet after midnight was perfect for a good night's sleep. We had room 411 on the 4th floor nice and quiet. We will definitely be coming back to this gem of a hotel. It is about a 15-minute walk to the lovely beach.

Lovely Spanish Hotel with really friendly staff going that extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food was brilliant and each meal had plenty of choice and was accompanied with wine and water. Had two very comfortable double beds in the room which aided our great nights sleep and the room was cleaned daily (if required) by the efficient cleaning team. A ten minute walk takes you down to a fantastic cove where the beach is surrounded by quality bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. In the opposite direction there is a huge commercial centre with all the well known Spanish retailers so ideal for shoppers. A 25 minute stroll along the seafront will take you into Benidorm Old Town. The village of Finestrat is a must to visit and walk around with it's picturesque streets and magnificent views. Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here and a great location for exploring the coast to places like Altea and Calpe. Dont go here if you want the "Benidorm experience" but do visit this hotel if you want the chilled and relaxing Spanish experience. Huge thanks to all the Hotel Tropic Team for making it such a great stay.
