Hotel Villa del Mar

We been in June and the outside temperature was perfect, very clean inside room, they have also outside pool for adults and one for kids (our son love it).. also spa, I had a great massage time . The beach is in the front of hotel ☺️. The best thing on this hotel is the food, one of the best varieties of food and every day is different kitchen, also bar, kids fun place and live music every evening. We been also served at the table by Mrs Dorina ☺️and sometimes by Mrs Gina, both of them was lovely..all staff was brilliant. Definitely we will go again next year☺️

WOW! Fantastic stay yet again. All of the staff from the cleaners to the top management could not do enough to look after myself and my wife. The food was always hot and fresh and there was something to eat all day. A big mention to Joaquin and Veronica for their lovely hospitality. We will be going again as it is right on the beach (cant use I am in a wheelchair) and a lovely walk each way (ride in my case) The hotel is always spotless, the roof terrace is great when there in no wind. Roll on next stay at Villa Del Mar. Thank you to you all

We’ve got mixed feelings about Villa del Mar. Our room was a big let-down — definitely not 4-star standard. The TV barely worked, the shower door was broken, and there was damage around the door frame. We reported it to reception, but nothing was fixed during our stay, which was disappointing. That said, the rest of the hotel was actually really nice. The cocktails were amazing, no queues at the bar, and the food was good too. The chill-out bar was a lovely spot to relax, and the location is perfect — right by the beach and close to everything. Entertainment wasn’t great, though. The area where it’s held feels quite tired and in need of a refurb. Some of the staff were lovely and very friendly, but a few were quite rude, which left us with a bit of a sour taste. Overall, we enjoyed parts of our stay but wouldn’t rush back unless the rooms and service improve.

Our week in Benidorm Villa del Mar was excellent. the moment we arrived till the moment we departed. Our room was ready a bit earlier and it was bonus as we were up since 3am and needed to get changed. positive things: 1)opening of the door to the room is with your bracelet and we had no problems at all. 100% reliable and so comfortable as you cannot loose it and always get in. 2) the staff works so hard in every level and every time we needed something it was sorted quickly. there was always tables available and tables were always clean. food was so fresh and tasty. huge variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. we were AI and I must admit one of the best hotels we have been. 3) the view from Seaview room was amazing. so peaceful in the morning and at night. we had our window open and expect some noise but we were not disturbed at all. 4) the chill out terrace is great to have drinks and chill out no negative points at all thank you for looking after so well and we will return in the future.

Absolute incredible hotel, all staff were amazing and so helpful, my partner is gluten free and was completely catered for. Room was amazing, everything immaculate clean and smelling amazing. Will definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommend

It was our first time in Benidorm so we chose the Villa Del Mar hotel mostly because of its location. We didn't want to be right in the middle of things but still wanted to be within walking distance of everything. The hotel is perfect for this, with just a 5/6 minute walk to the start of the main old town area and around 25 minutes to the new town *****. Because of its location, the majority of the guests in mid-March were either couples (many older) or families. There were no large/loud groups, which meant that the hotel was generally pretty calm during the day and quiet at night. The all-inclusive food and drink was good and worth the money in our view. Branded spirits and beers plus nice cocktails. The food was generally good with different dishes each day. As is often the case with buffet-style, some of it could have been warmer, but it was all generally good quality and plenty of choice. Staff throughout the hotel were generally friendly and helpful. The hotel was always very clean. Rooms were cleaned, beds made and towels refresh daily. You could also request a full change of the bedsheets whenever you liked. Some parts of the room were a little dated/worn but nothing that was bad enough to be offputting at all. We went for a sea-view room which was definitely worth the upgrade price with fantastic views straight onto the beach and sea. The room itself felt a little small (especially for our 9-night stay) and didn't have that much storage for that length of stay either. It would be fine for a shorter 3/4 night stay though. As many have said, there are no balconies. We knew that when we booked and weren't bothered at the time, but once there, there were times when it would have been nice to sit out and enjoy the views. The room windows open wide though so you can still get plenty of fresh air. If you get the chance to request a specific room number, my advice would be to go for x07 or x08 on each floor if you want quiet. These are sea view rooms that are at the far end of the corridor, so away from the lifts and with less footfall passing. Rooms x01 and x02 are right across from the lifts and I think would have been quite noisy, both from the lifts and people constantly waiting/talking outside your room, so avoid these if you can! The main downside to the hotel is the lackof/size of the facilities. The main pool area felt very uninviting. Just a very plain area surrounded by buildings and not very appealing at all. The pool was always in the shade. There was a bar next to the pool but it was all closed up in March. As the pool area is two floors up at the back of the hotel, that meant that, if you wanted drinks, you had to go down two levels, along a long corridor and right across reception to the bar down there to get them. Particularly tricky when it comes to then carrying them back to the pool! There's an indoor heated pool as part of the hotel's Spa area, but the spa is an additional charge (around 30 euros an hour). We had a great week here. The hotel was very clean and the food was brilliant for an all inclusive. There was lots of choice and it was all hot when served - I’m a picky eater and always found something to eat! The staff were very friendly and attentive and the facilities were lovely. The rooftop terrace is a lovely suntrap to sit and sunbathe! We will definitely return here!

Sorry for the delay in writing this. We visited again at the beginning of February to celebrate my Wife Betty’s birthday. As usual our go to place for any celebration is the Villa Del Mar. We just adore spending time with our Familia española. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces. Our welcome was very warm. We booked through the hotel website and were rewarded with a Dream Jacuzzi room at no extra charge. We had a corner room so not only did we get views of the sea and the de l'Illa de Benidorm we also got views of the Parc d'Elx, which was great for people watching. The room was kept immaculate by the hard working house keeping team. Now I do not usually name names but I want to thank Karen in the restaurant for organising a little surprise for Betty’s birthday. The choral rendition of happy birthday to you was lovely. Thank you to all the camareros who joined in with the singing. You certainly gave Las Ketchup a run for their money . We will be back. nos vemos pronto.

The location it's perfect. Hotel clean,room with sea view and jacuzzi +bubbles,chocolate was amazing. We felt very grateful for service!! Such a nice welcome at check in by the romanian girl,she's simply lovely and professional all the way! Aida took care of us at breakfast tine and lunch happily singing and creating a nice atmosphere, many thanks to you all ,we will came back !

Fantastic hotel ! With a great location ! Food was amazing our room was lovely with a lovely welcome pack incl chocs and prosecco .loved the outside terrace on the top floor .very efficiently run ,only criticism I would give this lovely hotel is I wish the outside pool was heated in the colder months as was far too cold to swim in . Will def be back xx
