In the pictures the hotel looks nice and minimalistic, but the reality was different. The standard double room we had the first night was very small, right next to the elevator, and extremely noisy from both the hallway and outside. We couldn’t sleep at all. When we raised this issue at reception, the employee was not very understanding. She told us it was “our problem” and that we should have mentioned in advance if we were light sleepers. She briefly mentioned the possibility of a discount, but nothing was ever applied, and her tone felt dismissive rather than helpful.
The next day we upgraded to a superior room, which was quieter and allowed us to rest, but the only difference from the standard room was the location and a small terrace. Inside, the rooms were the same: an uncomfortable bed that moved during the night, and a floor covering that looked old and dirty. The bathroom was fine, and they did provide water in the room, coffee all day at reception, and free lockers for guests, which we appreciated.
Overall, the price is too high for what the hotel offers, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend staying here.

This was a really good boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. It was a short 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and most of the central sites. The rooms were very nice and modern with a terrific large rain shower in my room. San Valero is a great place to stay if you are in Zaragoza. The hotel was the perfect location with tons of food options nearby and the sites within a short walk.

The receptionist is the best! (Young guy in his 20s or so). He was so kind, and if I ever stay again in Zaragoza, it will only be in this hotel because of him! Thank you so much!

The location is comfortable to move around but the street is very loud and you can hear the rooms around you. I read some reviews earlier so I brought ear plugs but still. It was also pretty hot and they wouldn’t turn the A/C. I don’t think it was worth the money I paid. The staff was friendly and helped me get to the station even though the bus wasn’t working

Perfect location, overlooking the bell tower of the church dedicated to the Virgin of the Pillar. The room on the 5th floor also has a lovely little terrace. The coffee and kettle available on the ground floor is a great idea. The staff were very helpful. The only drawback was the lack of a bidet or a spray bottle (hence the minus point). But the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had non-disposable detergents. Well done!

(+) We loved the location! In the heart of the old town. -＞ Many restaurants in the old town close between 16-19:00. (+) The staff at Reception was helpful and friendly! They offered great advice. There’s also a complimentary coffee machine and kettle at the Reception. (+) The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice with free shower amenities and towels. There was also a hairdryer inside the wardrobe. (+) There is space outside to temporarily park your car and unload luggage, but you have to remove the ropes yourself. We found the hotel deal with Parking Indigo Plaza del Pilar (spacious, reliable, private garage) very convenient and only 250m away. We paid for the parking at the hotel upon checkout. (-) We were very disappointed by our room. The reviews we read and the photos we saw, didn't match the room we got. (-) It was located right next to the elevator so it was noisy late at night and early in the morning. (-) There was something about the bed that didn’t make it very comfortable. It was short and narrow for two people. (-) The room seemed cheaply furnished and the ambience didn’t feel as relaxing as we wanted it to be for the money that were paid. (-) The hotel offers breakfast upon extra charge, however it is served at another of their hotels a few minutes walk away from the property.

From the first day it was miserable. The receptionist's service was horrendous and very rude. He almost asked us to leave because a blue van was parked outside the hotel while my wife and baby were unloading their things. They didn't offer to help us at any point, even though they saw I was using crutches and my wife was carrying the baby in her arms. A disappointing place we definitely won't be returning to.

The hotel is basic, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's located just two blocks from the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. There's parking nearby. The area is quiet, and the room is free from outside noise. Ours had a balcony with a partial view of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, which we greatly appreciated. Getting there was a bit difficult because there was construction on the street, but it will be temporary.

Small but very cozy hotel, close to the cathedral, restaurants, bars, and shops. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful in every way. The maids are also very pleasant. There's a free coffee machine for when you need to recharge your batteries. Definitely a place to stay again in Zaragoza.
